Im fully expecting Steve and Aki to descend on the kids and get beat up pretty bad by the little monsters. At which point they will then cling to them and I'll have to get the pry-bar when they have to leave.

Nah, my mum's English, but I was born before the law that said women could pass their duality onto their kids. So I'm apparently full-blooded American. I was just fed up being on the same continent as my siblings....
Have you seen the PRICES to get from here to Florida?! Or the states in general?
S'about 1000$ round trip. Just for a week x.x

Not just gas prices, time of year gets bad as well, but BUT, I might be moving back to the states once schools over, so we'll see how it goes.
