Leaning back, he closed his eyes as he took a deep breath. Remebering all of it.
"Drow society is quite matriarcht. Women rule according to the drow goddess Lolth. Men are considered expendable, being seen as possessions or tools. However...every now and then, Lolth will mark an unborn babe with her mark, signifying them as chosen ones...I was one of those lucky few. I was born into house Valenor. My birth meant redemption and power to my family, for I was like a sacred relic even though I was a man.
I grew up in a powerful house. In a sense, I was royalty. My mother, the head presitess of Lolth, despised me. I was still a boy, and she could not bear the fact that I was marked. However, my father took to me quite well. It was from him I learned to be a drow, not my mother. He tought me the arcane arts, how to hunt, and about drow lore. It was then I learned what my fate would have been if I wasn't a marked....I wanted to change it.
Even though I was young, I soon earned the respect of the women around me, and became an idol to the men. You see, normal male drow are small and thin. I am much taller and much more built then a normal male. I soon began to train to wield steel and spell. I was about 98 when I fell in love. A young preistess from another house....She and I started at neutral, but as time went on, we fell in love.
When I was 100, we married. Soon, I ruled all of the drow. My first rule was that men and women were equal, but assigned to different roles. The women would still be in charge of divine affairs, the men arcane. But I instituted that they were equal on all levels. While my wife did argue, she knew I did this for the sake of future children.
At 120, my son was born. I named him Raphael. He was not marked as I, but I loved him all the same. At 150, I had a daughter. Her name was Tanya.
Of course, happyness did not last. While out hunting, I was attacked by assassins. They bore the symbol of my house, and they were women...I soon learned my wife sent them to capture me. I was sold as a slave to a woman named Crow...That is why I am here...I am only 154, though I have suffered much."

I could not imagian growing up where men and weomoen were not equals. My mother and father both ruled and where both equals in our lands.
I have heard of the name Tanya though it has been only bits and pieces since I have been here and I can not recall what it is I have heard. I wounder if they are the one and the same?
Your wife.....May I ask her if you still love her after what she did to you?
So are you still one of Crows slaves? I myself do not like the ideal of owning another we all have our own souls and they should belong only to us.
I am sorry for all you have lost. Will you go back one day...Okay I know way to meny questons. I place my hand over yours and sqeeze it tight.

He looked at her and smiled. "I will never be a slave to anyone but my own fate..as long as I breath, I shall resist tyranny....As for Tanya, I have no ides what has happened to her or my son...I lost contact when I came here...." Sphen returned the squeeze and smiled. "Your skin...is so soft...gentle even...I always loved the feel of elven skin...."

((OOC gonk I hate Cox Communications today scream My internet keeps going on and off on and off stressed ))
Yawgmoth had been sitting in the back, for once, not trying to center himself on attention. Which usually happened anyway. He was far too infamous to go unnoticed for too long. He took the last swig of the bottle in his hand and sat it aside keeping a watch with those black eyes. The darkness near him made him almost invisible to naked eyes but far too visible to those with sensativity to things above sight.

Lord Yawgmoth ((OOC gonk I hate Cox Communications today scream My internet keeps going on and off on and off stressed )) Yawgmoth had been sitting in the back, for once, not trying to center himself on attention. Which usually happened anyway. He was far too infamous to go unnoticed for too long. He took the last swig of the bottle in his hand and sat it aside keeping a watch with those black eyes. The darkness near him made him almost invisible to naked eyes but far too visible to those with sensativity to things above sight. ((OOC: Get persona internet or dell. Those really work!))

The darkness near him made him almost invisible to naked eyes but far too visible to those with sensativity to things above sight. fox walks over to Lord Yawgmoth and smiles at him " sir will you "play with me "." he said as his hart was raceing knowing that he was going to louse but he did nt care he wanted to feel the stranth that Lord Yawgmoth held

A blush comes to my face (due to the coment about my soft skin) I look up and you can see my green eyes are brighter then usual. Thank you.....looks back down at a lost for words i bite my bottom lip with my top teeth exposing my fangs that are not extended at the moment. I look lost in thought and on the verge of saying something but a bit confused too.

Sphen smiled at her blush, one hand stroking her cheek. A warm aura surrounded him, and his touch would send a warm sensation over her face as his other hand gave hers a small squeeze. "Always drives me crazy...." Drawing his hand back, he returned her gaze with a gentle smile. "Tell me about Fox...does the boy have any parents to look after him?"

This time, Yawgmoth would not refuse him if that's really what he wanted. But he would not go easy on anyone and the kid would learn the hard way what it meant to lose to Yawgmoth.

But he would not go easy on anyone and the kid would learn the hard way what it meant to lose to Yawgmoth. fox noded and smiled " I know sir, and I know that you go for blood and i'm willing to take the pain to have a match with you sir. im tired of being considered a chiled and this is the only way I can think of doing it." He said looking up at him.

"Then we will see you in the arena. You have no idea what pain is yet kid" Yawgmoth said as his form burst right in front of Fox in a huge array of shadows that screamed in a loud demonic roar before they rushed outside towards the battle arena.

I feel my face getting warm as the hand lightley runs over my face. I quit like the feel it is causeing in me. I smile again looking back up.
He does not talk about his parents much and what little I know I do not think I should tell. You should ask him though he might talk with you about it. I do know he has a mother that he does not care for and a father that abused with magic other then that it is best to let him tell. Raven has taken him as her son now *sigh* allthough she is never around now since Crow has locked her away. Fox brought out the goodness in her, allthough I do not agree with the darkness she has surounded him with and these heartless things she has gave him to watch over him. I am his adopted aunt and I try my best to watch out for him and would kill for him if I had to. What he needs is a good male in his life, I just don't think he knows it.

"yes sir." the boy walked over to the coutch and tuck off his wheats and walked out the door.
