Well he's black.

He has a few centuries of racial hate against chains stored up.

lol.

Romney didn't even come close to winning.

The only reason a lot of stupid Americans think otherwise is because of retarded Fox News with it's poor broadcast journalism.

Romney could possibly have won if he had been anything but another empty suit from the Republican party. The problem is, a lot of Republican voters simply refused to vote for him OR Obama, so they just... stayed home. I believe there was a statistic that he got 2 million less Republican votes than McCain did in '08, which is pretty ******** terrible lol.

I've given up on politics honestly. I cannot think of a single politician I actually trust in either party.

The only thing trustworthy about Washington politicians is that you can believe they'll always go after their best interests first.

It's not really about trust.

Everyone should vote, at least to steer the country towards the lesser evil.

That's what I mean, I don't think there is a lesser evil at the moment. Politicians say different things on both sides to try and differentiate themselves, but in the end they worship in the Almighty Dollar regardless of its origins.

I think maybe the only difference between politicians is who's lobbying them.

Obama vs. Romney was basically windbag vs. blowhard, the presidential race.

I ended up voting for Romney only because I despised Obama more.

The only person I would have really liked to see in office is way too literate, intelligent and sensible for the average American. Hint: It's not Ron Paul.

Voting becomes irrelevant if you're voting for two politicians who are equally s**t. You're just voting for one brand of s**t over the other, it's an exercise in futility where you cast a vote for superficially different yet equally inefficient and corrupt politicians.

You will never see a president or Congress

Cut Blackwater funding, despite it being illegal as per the Pendleton Act. A Blackwater operative costs 8 times more in taxpayer dollars than an American soldier (the CEO of Blackwater makes like six times as much as Petraeus) and they aren't accountable to international military laws.

Balance our military spending in a way that favors intelligent spending, as opposed to the present methodology of "slash pay for troops, continue handing money to Lockheed & Martin and other companies that line our pockets and pay our parties to help us get into office"

Strip down corporate welfare, make multinationals and banks accountable, and allow for an actual open market + support for the middle class and more corporations (i.e. competition for those who line the pockets of politicians).

Repeal the aspects of the Patriot Act that supersede or otherwise compromise Americans' personal rights.. or fix the present situations with drones where Obama is literally saying it's okay to judge and execute American citizens on "suspicion" of being terrorists without due process (a right given to us in the Bill of Rights)

Not in America's current political set-up.

Politics is a market. When you only have two major competitors, they don't even have to be different, nor do they have to improve anything or be anywhere remotely fair or accountable: they can do whatever they want, because they have a split monopoly and you either vote for them or not at all. You're given no alternatives. Look at any market where there's only a handful of competing companies; they rake the s**t out of their customers because the customers can't say no or go to a different company.

It's market stagnation, and America's political market has been stagnating since the 80s. It's not even worth voting because neither party is capable of actually fixing the issues in America because the issues are profitable to them, never mind that they ******** America and the economy in the a** and ruin our political system.

Then again, there's been bullshit in the system for years that's never been fixed because it's advantageous to politicians even if it ******** us over. See: gerrymandering.

Obama might not be quite what everyone imagined, not that he's doing terribly either.

That's just skewed perspective.

I honestly believe he just sees it as a job and is doing the best he can, while making the occasional shady deal to promote the country's needs.

Nothing too far gone. Not like Romney who simply wanted to make more money for his wall street buddies.

I wonder if Kytana will let me RP with her so I can have a certain one of my female characters pull out her hair and brutally beat her across the face.

That'd be a no. Only reason Rob and Ros are basically in a catfight is because of their history.
