Had to go pick up my mom from work because she's sick.
I get home and there's a message saying my class today's cancelled because my professor's sick.
I really hope I'm not next...

Millie990 I listened to it too and I thought eehh...yeah that voice isn't right...but a lot of anime shows I watch most of the female characters don't sound right but people don't complain as much about them as they do the males I watched the whole show in Japanese it's not going to hurt me to rewatch it in English...and I like Vic smile Well, I can't say much about English dub since I speak Spanish, so sweatdrop Kotetsu's voice...no, Hirata's voice is sort of peculiar. See, I watched a lot of anime, and even then I can't really tell who's the seiyuu behind the characters, except for those who have a particular tone or something. So, when comparing it with the dub actor, the difference is very strong, not to mention the personality of the character being voiced as well. Which makes me wonder, how would it be with a Spanish dub? That is...worrisome. And since I don't know much about the dub world in general, I was actually surprised to learn about the dislike of Vic. Like, the news of the cast started to be revealed bit by bit and everyone in the forums were "please, don't let Vic get the main role (bis, bis, bis)" I was woah wait, is that guy that bad or something? But reading about it, more than the acting it is actually that the guy seems to be a jerk? But I didn't see any strong evidence, except for the comments of people who met him in cons.

I actually thought that my body was shaking lol I'm in Southern California, so that happens to me pretty often when I feel like I'm shaking or something else is shaking. Of course, I would know whether it was an earthquake or not because the news stations here go crazy over a magnitude 3.3 earthquake. lol

It was just a slight tremor. I realized it was an earthquake when I checked my Facebook and everyone was freaking out because one dude apparently posted "Earthquake in 3...2...1" minutes before the actual earthquake happened. MasturChef I'm in Southern California, so that happens to me pretty often when I feel like I'm shaking or something else is shaking. Of course, I would know whether it was an earthquake or not because the news stations here go crazy over a magnitude 3.3 earthquake. lol Oh, that happens here as well! People are so worried about the big one coming, so the media reports almost all the earthquakes they can.

Southern Cal is long overdo for a big one. There hasn't been a major earthquake quite literally since I was born. And that was the Northridge quake. The media preaches preparedness after pretty much every small thing.

Nah. It was just a tremor. We are getting them more often though, I wonder what's up with that.
But today i'll leave earthquakes monitoring aside because...
shopping day! shopping day! shopping day!
And I has no moneys OTL. But it's the first time it has been implemented, so i'll still go and check out the offers. I have to buy some medicines after all.
And it's also the European Day of Languages, and there's gonna be an event in a centric part of the city. There are gonna be storytellers, monologues, etc. All of them spoken in a different language like Dutch, Italian, English, French, Polish and German. And they are FREE.
CULTURE, HERE I GO! scream heart
I said nothing. The amount of people was awful, argh.

If there wasn't any medical proof of the correlation between Tiger Woods' performance on the golf course and my mother's blood pressure before there is now. My mom got so worked up over his performance yesterday that she set off her heart rate monitors and freaked out her nurses. Oh are they going to have fun watching over her tomorrow during the singles matches at the Ryder Cup. xp
I know given everything she's going through right now I shouldn't find this funny but with how impassioned she gets about things like Tiger Woods and other certain things it's a riot that happened. My sister joked that if you really wanted to kill her all you had to do was turn on Fox News. She's a very passionate person when it comes to politics, Tiger Woods and his facial hair, and Notre Dame. In our family the saying goes my mother's holy trinity is the Kennedys, the Democrats, and Notre Dame, speak ill of one and oh boy will you hear it from her.

Sissy returns somewhat. Trying to ease myself into October (because October's a very relaxing month for me). Also learned about "Banned Books Week". Funny, because the next book that I'm planning to read is...
Fahrenheit 451. Which is also a banned/challenged book.
And guess what I'm sending to my boyfriend in the mail since he wants to read a book? Carrie! ANOTHER BANNED BOOK!
HA! Freedom to read, peeps! You can't stop me!
*skips away laughing*
