"The matters between us do not concern you, human!" the man bellowed and looked at Nova. "It is about our clans... The Achyls need a new leader quickly," he said. "And I am sorry to have dragged you here against your will. I was sure that if you heard what I had to say, then you would not have come. I am Kuro, the next in line to take the position of leader in my clan. I hear that you are the next in line for the Kalika."
"I was," Nova replied quietly and looked at the ground.
"Was?" Kuro asked.
"Well, yeah... I chose I male human. I cannot take leader if I have him. The leader has to be able to have offspring," he mumbled his reply and chuckled softly. He looked back up at Kuro and smiled. The Achyls smiled back and looked at the human, bowing slightly. "See, Mitsuki... He's not bad. Calm down..."
"Okay, well... I can't really ask for your help then, huh? I must find the next in line for the Bryony clan and then whoever is taking your place," Kuro said with a bow and looked up at the sky. Something was not right, and it was bothering Nova. He wanted to help as well, but the other did not talk anymore on it. Sighing, the Kalika watched the Achyls jump off and disappear.
"Mitsuki... I-I want to help him..."

Mitsuki listened to the conversation that was taking place. He mentioned the clans that Nova explained earlier before. Once the vampire had left, hie eyes widen at Nova. He placed his hand over his eyes and sighed, "You've got to be kidding...." He knew the other's answer and no matter what he says Nova had his mind made up. "Whatever makes you happy......" he answered, something tells him that this was very dangerous.

Nova hugged Mitsuki tightly around the waist and looked up at him with big eyes. "What if that clan leader is planning to destroy us all or something? You don't want me gone do you...?" he asked and looked back in the direction Maya was blocking off the humans. He waved for her to come off, so he could talk to her. "Uh... Would you happen to know who the next in line is for the Bryony clan?" he said and tilted his head to the side. He figured that she would know seeing as she was a vampire from the Bryony clan. It only seemed natural to him for one to know the next in line for their own clan. He scratched the back of his head and looked at Mitsuki, rubbing his forehead against the other's shoulder. "C'mon... You can help too, right?"

Mitsuki sighed, "What can I do? Sure, I can fight, but not as strong as Vampires. Come on now. Sure I don't want you or Maya to get hurt. Nr do I want Mr. Zuski to get hurt too. But think about this Nova, I'm human. A human. I can get easliy killed, and if I remember correctly, if I die then you die. I rather not have that." Maya hurried over to the two, she noticed despite Mitsuki's calm demeanor, he looked oddly upset. She frowned, Mitsuki looked looked over and sighed as he leaned against the wall. "Explain it to her Nova..."

"You've got that backwards!! If I die, then you die!" Noca exclaimed. He really had no idea what he was talking about. Actually, he did not want to think about what would happen if either of them died. He sniffled and flung himself at Mitsuki and rubbed his face all over Mitsuki's chest. "I don't want you to die!!" he yelled and looked over at Maya. He quickly changed his attitude and smiled. "Well, I have reason to believe that Achyls clan leader is planning to wipe out humans and the vampires of the other clans. That Kuro vampire is the next in line for the Achyls, and he wants someone to take over before anything bad can happen. So, he's off to find the next in lines for the other two clans. He can't use me 'cause I'm useless in these matters, so he may have to talk to my father... But I need to know who the next in line is for the Bryony clan," he said in one breath. Good thing he really did not need to breath, or else he would have surely died. He grabbed his heart and gasped. "And that's about all I know from what I got out of what Kuro said..."

Mitsuki sighed and Maya nods, "Well....I'm not quite sure who is next....the clan is quite diverse...." She looked at the two, "I'll go check with Mr. Zuski. He's older and might now what's what." She turned and left the two to be alone while she hurried to Mr. Zuski's place to ask who was next in line. Once Mitsuki was alone with Nova, he sighed for the millionth time this night, "Come on.....let's go home....I have a massive headache." He looked normal on the outside, but the inside was confused and worried to no end.

Nova watched Maya run off and frowned. He wondered if it was a good idea to let her go off on her own with the Achyls under the control of the leader of their clan. He looked back at Mitsuki and grinned. "Oh my dear..." Nova said and patted his human on the shoulder. "Let's go get you some rest." He chuckled and started walking away. He was so happy that Mitsuki had stood up for him, but he was sorry that he was suffering from a headache. Nova had not experienced one of those before, but he heard they were horrible. He looked behind him and at his human. "You're so pretty," he whispered softly. He loved to say that!

Mitsuki looked up at Nova and smiled, he chuckled at the other as he followed the other to his house. He rubbed his temples as he did, he thought about the whole situation. He didn't want Nova to get hurt. In fact he will do what he can to protect Nova. He looked around and notice that they were back in his street. He looked up ahead of Nova and sighed, he in all honesty did not know what to do with the vampire.

Nova had recognized the street he was on, so he followed wherever his mind was telling him to go. He had subconsiously memorized where to go. The vampire looked back at Mitsuki and frowned. He looked in a lot of pain to the vampire. He ran over to his human's side and looked over him in worry. "Does your head really hurt that bad?" he asked and hugged Mitsuki as they walked. "Is there anything in your house that can help?" He wanted to make sure Mitsuki would be okay, almost forcing himself to forget about the problem within the three clans. It was crazy how one would want to get rid of the other two after his clan was the one to create them. Then again, it was really an accident. There was something in their blood at that time that created the vampires... So, Nova could not really blame them. He glanced at Mitsuki and grinned. "I hope your head stops hurting soon."

Mitsuki looked down at Nova, it wasn't really all the headache, but the situation itself. Although the situation wasn't helping his head any. He nods, "I have some pills I can take....I just have to stop thinking for a while." Ha, that was a laugh, him stop thinking, it's like telling him to stop breathing. He shook his head as they came to the door. "Nova.....do vampires ever get sick?" he asked such a random question. He needed something to stop him from thinking of the current problem.

"Do... vampires... get... sick?" Nova repeated and looked at Mitsuki. He had no idea where such a random thing came from, but it was indeed an interesting thing to ask. He tapped his chin and tilted his head to the side. That was actually hard to answer. When was the last time he had gotten sick? He grumbled from thinking too hard and sighed. "Well, I've been sick maybe once or twice before. And, seeing as I've been living for about one hundred and fifty years, one of two times is nothing. Uh, am I right...?" he said. He did not know if it was strange or not to have only gotten sick a few times and having no serious sickness. "I remember that I only had it for a day, and it was nothing. Just a stuffed nose," Nova mumbled and looked at Mitsuki. He wondered if Mitsuki was sick. He frowned at the thought and clung to his human. "You're not sick, are you!?"

Mitsuki chuckled and shook his head, "No, I'm not....yet." He opened the door and walked in. "If I don't take care of this headache, I might get sick." He walked over to the bathroom and took out a bottle of pills. "Two or one only, huh? Nice. I think that kinda normal for a vampire I guess....humans often get sick and some stay sick depending on how bad the illness is. Some even die." He added as he grabbed a cup of water.

Nova's eyes widened. "I don't want you to die from some illness!!!" he whined, still holding on to his human. He was being rather clingy and worried. Mitsuki told him not to worry about things, right? It was in Nova's personality to worry about the human he had chosen. He looked at Mitsuki and tilted his head to the side, his grey eyes slightly filled with tears. He was about to cry, and he did not even know if Mitsuki would get sick and die or not. He sighed and wiped his tears off on Mitsuki's shirt sleeve. "I hope you get better~!" he yelled and ran out and plopped down on the couch, stretching his body full-length on it.

Mitsuki's eyes widen and his jaw dropped, I didn't mean.... He sighed and took the medicine and walked over to Nova. He flopped on the floor near the couch and brushed his hand threw Nova's hair, "I'm not sick nor am I going to die....It's just a headache. It will go away...no crying. I'm okay, honest." He suddenly felt so bad for making the other cry. He wanted to make the other feel better.

"I'm not crying," Nova lied and wiped his eyes clear before sitting up and looking down at Mitsuki. Instead of allowing Mitsuki to sit on the ground like that, the vampire grabbed his human and pulled him up on to the couch with him. "You'd better not be sick. And... What's a headache feel like, anyway?" he asked and hugged Mitsuki tightly. He sat up on the couch and looked back at the human. He was quickly calming down, and that was good. As long as his human was not sick and would live, then he would have a good enough reason to smile. He grinned and cringed. He was trying not to jump at Mitsuki because he did not want to hurt him. Nova smiled and sighed.
