@Karasu, Thats backwards thinking. The issue here is not what our compensation is. That has nothing to do with anyone other than me sai and dbl to decide on whats fair. Granted your input is welcome, but lets not completely back track our thoughts and ignore the entire reason the suggestion was made in the first place just because some are afraid our comp might be too high. The point is, we are trying to get rid of the tragic tragic habit of demon winners going inactive. We also want demons to be able to be taken away through capturing and such. The idea of keeping perm demons, controdicts this and sends us progressing backwards rather than forwards.

Personal fear of our characters strength or increase is irrelevant if I may be blunt about it. To say that if we get something that will make us stronger or better is out of the question simply because you dont want us to be is not a valid argument. The fact is, I paid 5million gold for my demon. Yeah, 5 MILLION. So pardon me if I feel as though the idea of it being even remotely possible to have it stolen warrents me to desire an generous compensation.

no problem with compensation for you guys since it makes the demons fair game for everyone, and with the ryo and dd items you suggest as comp it sounds reasonable to me since it makes it just as easy for us to get DD items and such via events(like my pendent from gen1) or paying 5 bucks and the like, ryo can be gotten through raw lines as well as the DD shop donations so = w= i have no problems lol.

Thank you Zavits. All Im trying to say is. I paid 5 million gold for my Demon that was always promised to me to be perm. We had the idea of changing Demons because we felt as though it was for the betterment of the guild. We went into this thing KNOWING that it was a possibility that we were going to loose our perm rights. To anyone that has ever won a demon auction in NFS would tell you, your not paying for the demon. Your paying for its rights, your paying for the deed, your paying for it to be PERMINANT. Anyone could seal a demon and temporarily have its powers. But you pay for it out the a** so you can have it forever. But realizing that this might be unfair we spoke up in the OOC. It was determined that in order for this system to be put in we had to loose our perm rights. I think its extremal fair for us to get a healthy compensation. We are sacrificing something that is OURS that we paid for with good money, we are letting our perms go for the sake of a system that we feel will better the guild. I am slightly shocked that someone would say that our compensation request is unfair considering the sacrifice that we are taking.
Do you know how much 5mill is? How many of you have ever even seen that many 0's on your gold accounts. I paid out the a** for cash cards to get that demon and yet im willing to risk it being taken away from me by someone who did not pay a cent, simply because I think that it is fair. So can I please have the same respect in letting me get the comp that is worth my loss?
Sai: Again, I PAID 6.7 Mil >__> ******** sold my Steel Plated Headband that I saved up for a year and a half for this demon D:<

A lot of facts had escaped my memory before i posted, most of which haunt me at this moment. I don't think i'll be doing anything fun related until i get this off my chest... This creates a massive unbalance in power, especially as your two characters are not likely to ever be on opposite sides. This massive jump in power would be a feat that none of us would be able to achieve as there is a limit on ryo, and we do not start with demons. I understand you paid a high price for the demons, and it is proven that you will stay with the guild so why not make your demons unique and allow you to keep them forever? The entire premise of the reset was to have everyone be equal, and the entire reason for making this guild was to avoid unbeatable characters. Now I feel that the compensation you are requesting defeats the purpose of the new guild and system by making your two characters unbeatable. I've said my piece and that's all I can do.

Well granted, I see where you are coming from. While I do feel as though we deserve the Ryo. I understand why some would be weary of me and Sai doing such a thing because it is true that two of, if not the strongest characters in the guild. So giving us a lot of ryo would in fact push a gap that, while possible, is much harder to catch up to.
With that in mind, speaking for myself and not Sai. I would be willing to drop down from 15 to 10k ryo and 2 DD items. One that helps me defend against sealing and one that aids to capturing demons.

Well as long as the DD shop is worked on next, and the donation system for stats is redone for exp I could see the rest of us potentially being able to catch up to you though it would be difficult. I think it's reasonable.

They're power percentage would be boosted, but not completely seeing as they're no where near ready to produce a DD item at full strength, Power Caps are placed for a reason buddy... 2. Perma Demons are annoying and shouldn't ever step foot in this guild again, just because you don't specificly care about them doesn't mean half if not seventy five percent of this guild care more so on how they're distributed. 3. No one is unbeatable within this guild, I was tought that with the fight with you.... They'll have weaknesses just won't be obvious enough to some and will stick out like a sore thumb to others. 4. compensation for 12 mill gold.... hmmmm I'd say that's a pretty damn good thing too! Who the hell in their right minds would give up 12 mill just to make others happy, I sure enough hell wouldn't just to some random person. 5. They CAN and SHOULD be able to keep their demons, Like DBL stated, possibly a chance to start fresh with a character and put the demon within their Past, present, future. The only thing now with the new system, they can be taken away.... 6. Using a Demon has a huge down side, while activating a demon if you roll a wrong number you Automattically die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how is that "Obtaining ultimate power?" I see no fairness within your complaints.... I say let them have what they want and keep their demons. It's not like their after killing anyone....No instead everyone is after them.... complete opposite of power housing the guild.....and remember that... if your not being hunter then your okay. If your being the hunter, then your bound to lose eventually.... that's how this guild works really....besides they'd have to have legit reason to attack someone, we don't OOC or half a** our battles here...

Aizen I would appreciate it if you did not insult my comprehension of how Items work. I well aware of the requirements and nuances of items. However if they are used correctly they are still the most powerful aspect of a character, and as Ele has said I DO have a valid point of view on this matter. I also did not say that I was speaking for everyone in the guild and I would also like to point out that I was not speaking to you, I was speaking to Ele. Please don't jump into my conversations like that.

This discussion is over. What Me and Ele gets compensated for giving up our demons for this new system is between Me, Ele and DBL, not anyone else. We will take your concerns about us becoming "overpowered" into consideration but any further discussion on this is to be halted as I am not about to see any conflicts arise over this in the OOC.

Thank you for stopping that Antonio, I'll definitely take your counter offer into consideration and work on something we can just discuss over the mod sub-forum.
Now that said you two are not the only ones with demons. If I remember correctly, Steampunk ALSO has a demon she won in the last grab bag. So she needs to be in and agree with the comp as well (since she actually payed cash for hers). That said what I'm apt to do is allow either the ryo or the dd choices and then give 2 specific custom tailored DD's specifically made for combating Jinkurichi with their demon released. These DD would be unique in that ONLY people with the comp would have them... this would basically give you something that was very powerful and potent against people using a demon but not something that would be insanely useful to those without one in turn meaning you become much better at nabbing demons back should you loose yours without gaining a huge power benefit over other situations.
That aside I'll be working on the counter offer details tomorrow or late tonight.
Again the only way this will go through is if the three of you agree.
