What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman - Ohayou Productions
The world has....changed
"Alright...well then...I'll take the house. I love this place even if it's way too grand for someone like me. I've cook enough in that kitchen...sometimes this house felt more like home than my own place. Way too many busy nights." he said with a wistful sigh.
But then he looked up, "I'm sure he left you something, Koyasu-kun. Even if you didn't marry some things should remain in the family shouldn't they?" Even now, Hiroki couldn't see Aki so completely heartless. Although his true colors had started bleeding through at an amazing rate at the end of his life. His shoulders slumped when he thought about the marriage clause. He hadn't thought about that. He didn't know what to say because he hoped Aki wouldn't be so cruel.
Hiroki looked up at the ceiling for a moment. "Good memories were here at times. He might have built this house to escape the past, but...I don't think he ever forgot the past, Koyasu-kun. I think he remembered it quite clearly every day of his life. And maybe that's why he could never let things go." Hiroki folded his arms over his chest as his eyes drifted away from the ceiling back down to that smile.
To those words, Hiroki could only nod. Trust would take time And well, he wasn't sure he trusted himself to be honest. But how could he say that to the blue eyed young man on the worst day of his life?
But at least, he didn't have to question anymore the opinion of the two cousins in his own head. Now he had a clear answer. What could he say? He didn't want to answer those questions. They'd unsettle that precarious platform he mentally stood on. His heart loved Katsu but sometimes he was confused by the past that got him in this situation. He didn't want to think about it. Avoiding it made things easier.
"Ah...Let's work hard to get Ohayou back on it's feet then. And I'm sure that things will get better once Ohayou is running smoothly. Maybe you'll want to take the reigns completely one day Koyasu-kun? When you're ready. It was always meant to be yours." Maybe one day, Aki will rest easy. Hiroki wouldn't say that out loud. But he had a feeling that the old tiger would never find peace.
So the Elephant would at least honor the pact they made. However, it wouldn't be the Ohayou Aki dreamed of...it would be something new...something Akihiko would build with stars while Hiroki kept the status quo in the office. And Yuuji? Well...Hiroki really wasn't sure his exact role and maybe for now he'd leave it at that.
Hirok glanced over a Izzy because the man had said nothing at all. Then smiled, immediately realizing the reason. Izzy was....drooling...and sleeping. He really must not have been feeling good to fall asleep mid conversation, "I think your manager has sprung a leak."

Ninja or Hamu...You decide! Dirty Little Secrets------------------------------------------------}:- Yamada Haru It's the Devil in the Details... ......What a tangled web we weave......
Haru finally got the car out of the shop and realized his battery on his phone had gone dead. So he plugged it into the charger before he started his drive to Koyasu Aki's estate.
It was then he saw the text from You and replied quickly:
What the heck! I was only at the car repair shop for a few hours! And when I got done I realized my phone battery had died too. You know it was kind of blissful for a short time. Shou wasn't calling me. Now I know why.How did Ryuukaze manage to do that? What did the hospital say? Did Shou and Naoko make it home ok? Do you need me for anything? Are you alright? <3

Blue eyes flickered over to Izzy and the smile that crossed Akihiko's face was truly a smile that Hiroki had never seen. A happy smile. A warm and loving and caring smile. "He's so ill... I feel bad for him really. I know what it's like..." a smirk took the place of the smile as the young tiger fixed his gaze on the elephant. "Getting sick after running away in the rain..." but then the man shook his head, walking over to the bed and carefully tucking his partner in properly. "Can I be honest with you, Asato?" the musician asked, removing the lunch trays from the bed so Izzy could sleep. "I'm actually not mad at you any more. I mean... if you hadn't freaked out and gone to ojisan then Ruki and I wouldn't be where we are now. I... well I realize that now. I was an a** and I know it. All this time, you were only trying to help." Akihiko laughed softly, watching Izzy sleep. "Hell you've been around more than ojisan has. Helping me, making sure I didn't end up drunk in a back alley... making lunch for me really was a nice thing to do. Seriously, I was starving." he focused his gaze back on the other man then pointed toward the door. "Let's go talk in the lounge across the hall. Ruki really needs to rest." a mischievous smirk played at the young Koyasu's lips. "You've no idea how much I just want to kiss him... damn cold... I won't get to spend much time with Ruki after today... least not for a few days." Narcissus lead Hiroki across the hall, closing the door before pouring both men a half glass of whiskey. He handed one to the older man before clinking his glass against the other. "To what we'll make." Akihiko winked, taking a sip before sitting down on the sofa. "I really am sorry, Asato. I... well I know how much you cared for ojisan and all I've done is bad mouth him. This is hard for you too... I seriously thought you'd just take off forever and not even bother looking back. Especially with ojisan gone." the young man sighed, taking another drink of whiskey, his eyes on the glass. "Yesterday I was ready to run away from Ohayou and from Japan because I was convinced ojisan would disown me. I was right. What I didn't count on, was Ruki's life in danger. So I signed a contract and made up my mind to give up performing. Course the contract doesn't exist now... Yuuji threw it in the fire... but... even though I've got Ruki now and can stay with him... a part of me is wondering if I really should give up my career."

kawaita tsumori ame ga tsuzunaku katari kakeru namida wa seijaku ni...samayou yoru ga akeru"We'll see them...soon. Ruki is sick...so probably when he's feeling better. Or...maybe at nii-san's show...but really soon." Hideki frowned slightly. He hated the thought of his "papa" being ill, but then other thoughts of the man brought the smile right back to the young performer's face. "Did you know he tried to make scrambled eggs and managed to get them all over Akihiko's ceiling? Man...I'm blind and I can do better than that...." the small blond crossed his arms loosely and leaned back in Nakai's arms, shaking his head like he just couldn't believe Izzy sometimes. The man was unparallelled when it came to management, but wow...what a mess in the kitchen. Everybody had to have a weakness, though, right? "All to yourself, eh? I don't know what you're going to do with me, Kuma-san. I'm a terrible mess and nothing but trouble. Perpetually on the mend from something now-a-days." he rolled his eyes, "But...I'm glad it's you, ya know...if I'm stuck being pitiful with someone, I definitely want it to be you." ~ Nanika tarinakute mo ima aru iro de ~
A nurse from the operating room stepped into the room Ryuukaze was in, noting the sleeping young man in one chair, and the older, more professional looking man across from him. "Please excuse me, but we have to take Minamoto-san in for his surgery now." she explained, moving swiftly yet silently to the bedside, unlocking the wheels and whisking the violinist right away. About two hours later, the star was returned to the room, looking a bit more clean and bandaged than when he left. A doctor was present for any questions that needed to be answered. ~ Sou boku no sekai wo nurikaete mitai ~ karada o tsutau ame ni furueru awai omoi guren no yuuwaku ni...samayou yoru ga akeru

What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman - Ohayou Productions
The world has....changed
"He does look very puny. I'm sure he's not taking it well either." Of that Asato was certain because Izzy always came to work sick or not. But then he paused as Akihiko gave his admission of thoughts. Asato could believe itfrom watching Akihiko with Izzy. Such...a change from the young man that Asato had dealt with all these years.
Asato scratched his head as he listened to Akihiko. It was hard to wipe the surprised off his face. "Well you might have been together still...maybe not as far as you are now. But you did seemed determined to annoy him and get his attention focused on you." Hiroki knew that back then Akihiko didn't like anyone to tell him what for. Izzy seemed to be an exception to the rule at the time. "Yes, I guess. I have been around you quite a bit over the years, much to my chagrin at time. But...you've finally grown a bit. Maybe my hair won't grow grey as fast as I thought it might trying to keep up with you."
"Ah...well I made a bit extra and it is down in the frig unless Ko-kun gets hungry then he'll probably eat it. He seemed to like the beans." Asato said with a light smile. Maybe his cooking wasn't restaurant quality but it wasn't decent homemade.
"I wouldn't kiss him if I were you.Unless you're thinking about being laid up with him after you perform on stage. Hopefully it's just a cold and it won't spread." he said s he took the whiskey glass then sipped it as Akihiko spoke of the future, "To a happy and brighter future.." he responded taking a deep sip.
The older man swallowed a bit more whiskey feeling his age. Although, Katsu made him feel a lot younger. Was he going through a mid life crisis? Mm...maybe? But at least Katsu didn't mind his age as much as he did. "I'm glad that Takagi-kun through the contract away. And...mm....yes, I suppose I could have just taken off, but...mm...I do care about Ohayou. I guess Aki ingrained that into my head along with so many other things."
Hiroki shook his head as he listened, "You should wait on those decisions until after your next tour. These past several months since the Charity event has been exhaustive. And not because of music but many other things. If you gave up your career, would you be happy? Would teaching Ko-kun to sing, guiding other people's musical careers be fulfilling? Maybe for the short term. But...you'd become restless soon enough. You're a tiger that wants attention from the masses. Not an elephant that would be happy stomping over familiar grounds in a high tower. People like you can't just sit idly by and watch others burn brightly as stars. You might be able to help others shine but you've an inherent need to shine too. But if you really want to quit then that is up to you. However, you're only young once. Shining at 28 and Shining at 40 are two different things. Think about that. There's plenty of time to sit at a desk when you're older. Even then, you might not want to. So explore your art while you can, while I'm still young enough to do this job. I'll be 40 in a couple months."

As the doctor came in, Kou's eyes opened and he tried to straighten himself in his chair. How long had he been out? Well, at least he got a nap. "So how is he?"
Kou could tell that the star looked better after the surgery. Thankfully he was still alive. Kou always worried about things happening like in the dramas on TV where everything that could go wrong did.

The physician regarded Kou with calm eyes for a moment before looking down at the chart he held in his hands. "Well, Minamoto-san here should be just fine." he nodded toward the unconscious vocalist, "We patched up the broken ribs, fixed the minor internal bleeds...everything else seems to just be very bad bruising. Except...." the man frowned, reading, then re-reading something on the paper, "Ah...it seems that he's had severe head trauma before...our records indicate a previous skull fracture that was repaired with a plating. Well, it appears that Minamoto-san here managed to actually dent the plate in the accident. Now, far be it from me to declare this a miracle, but were it not for the metal plate, I'd say there's a....90, 95% chance that the impact would have killed him. As it stands, the plate is dented, but only very slightly. It seems like there's no major swelling to the brain...no bleeding or other emergencies that would require surgery...so the best option is just to leave it as-is. The damage is all internal, so it won't be a cosmetic issue. All I can say is just be cautious. As with any blow to the head, be wary of dizziness, fainting, nausea, vomiting, memory issues, mood changes...but it appears that he's going to be just fine. He'll probably wake up in a few hours and I'll check in on him again then." the doctor smiled and headed off to his next task, in and out like doctors were notorious for doing. ~ Sou boku no sekai wo nurikaete mitai ~

No idea but he's in surgery right now. I won't know more until that is finished. Obviously I'm at the hospital and yes... I'm perfectly fine. Shou-san and NAKO-san are fine and were taken back to Shou-san's place. Do I need anything from you? Mmmm... what I need isn't safe for a text message. wink YOU just make sure nothing happens to you. I'll probably be home late. <3
Ishihara really hated having to play information gatherer. In fact, this was hardly a job that pertained to him. BUT there was the ever nagging factor that the accident hadn't been an accident at all and instead a carefully laid plan of whomever was targeting SMASH's talent. He had a crew inspecting Ryu's car even now, and another who were secretly scouring the scene of the accident itself. Yes it meant money spent on something that may turn up nothing in the end... but You wasn't about to make the same mistake twice.
When the violinist was wheeled back in and the doctor present, Ishihara stood, introducing himself to the man. "Could you please tell me Ryuukaze-san's current condition and future prognosis?"
As the man spoke, You's mind was like a vice, taking in each bit of information and storing it away. Ryu would be out of commission for a few days at least to heal and to make sure there were no ill side effects. The man was lucky to be alive. And thankfully plastic surgery wasn't going to be any sort of issue.
Ishihara bowed, thanking the doctor before his dark eyes fell on Ryuukaze. He'd need to stick around til the man woke up at least... glancing to Kou, the shark smiled slightly. "Sounds like it wasn't as bad as I thought. Few days relaxing and he'll be right back to normal." At least he hoped so...

Nakai arched an eyebrow at that, wrapping his arms around Chiyou's waist comfortably. "Really? Eggs on the ceiling... I bet that didn't go over too well with Narcissus. I mean what was he doing? Tossing them like a pancake or a pizza?" Sometimes... Izzy really baffled the guitarist. Most of the time the man was completely normal. The perfect businessman. Then other times he was a bit absent minded or... perhaps impractical was the right term here instead. Kai really did wonder if the man's common sense just never bloomed at all. "Pitiful? I don't know... makes it sound like I'm pitiful too..." the blond replied, his lips next to the 'kid's' ear. One hand moved from the younger man's waist, trailing down to rest just on the inside of one of Chiyou's thighs teasingly. "And I don't think having you all to myself is pitiful in the least... Hi-chan."

"Either way, he got it cleaned up." Chiyou shrugged with a soft laugh. Oh, if only he could have been a fly on the wall to see Ruki doing all that. "No...I don't mean that you're pitiful....I'm sorry if it sound..." Hideki's words were cut off as a shiver ran from the base of his spine all the way right to the top of his head. "Kai..." the smaller blond said...well, more like gasped. His voice was so breathy that the name was almost indecipherable from a lusty moan. There was just something about that touch...it didn't matter how hurt, sick, sad, angry the young musician was, the mere trace of those fingertips could turn him right around...and melt him into a warm little puddle. Another hour passed after the surgery before bright red eyes slowly blinked open, revealing a blurry, unfamiliar room. Unfamiliar for a moment, though the star recognized it by its smell, first and foremost, as a hospital room. Nothing else smelled this sterile and...plastic. Looking around, Ryu let his vision adjust until his eyes settled on a figure...a very handsome young man. Someone...familiar. Kimura Kou! Kou was here! That was a pleasant surprise. With a weak, bleary-eyed smile, the violinist acknowledged the college student's presence before his gaze shifted to the other presence in the room. (((OOC: Holy crud! I just added up the average MP price for the items my avatar is wearing... 17,911,551 gold worth of items! Angelic Pendant, Audrey's White Long Gloves, Cloud, Enchanted Book, Gingerbread Man Cookie, Golden Laurels, Hermes' Moon, Picolitrosso's Urn, Summoning Tome, Winged Anklets, and Winter Dancer... so it's just 11 items! Totally nuts, man... Crazy Gaia inflation. I remember when my whole inventory was worth a whopping 2 million... and the Angelic Sash was just out of my questing reach at 4 million (now it's 31 million).)))
"Don't bet on that. There are plenty of things to still make you grey." Akihiko replied with a smirk before glancing up at a large painting on the far wall. It was a very VERY old piece done in brush strokes depicting the Peach Tree of the gods from Buddhism. The same tree that was said to bear fruit that gave immortality and that the monkey Sun Wukong stole from. Of course there was no monkey in the painting but there was a beautiful peach tree high above in the clouds with radiant goddesses plucking the fruit from it's branches. "Would that we had immortality." Narcissus said before looking back to Hiroki. "40 isn't that old, Asato. There are plenty of musician's still honing their craft at that age so getting older isn't something that I think would ever influence my career. But... well maybe you're right. It's just that I've enjoyed my time with Ruki... not having to worry about my next performance or putting out a new album or interviews and press conferences or placating fans or any of it. That'll change after the new year when the album is released." he took a sip of whiskey and then laughed. "Course now I guess I have someone to actually write my songs about, ne?" the young tiger asked with a smile. His songs up until that point had really been about himself or about his love for Yuriko. Now though... that was changing. Suddenly however, Akihiko changed the topic. "I'm betting you had a nice family Christmas at home. I mean it was sad no doubt but... I'm sure it was nice to see your parents and friends again."

Kai kept his palm in place, fingertips lightly stroking over Chiyou's thigh like it was his guitar strings. "Why would you use a hand mixer to make eggs? A fork would easily suffice..." the blond whispered, dipping his head just enough to place a soft kiss to the side of the 'kid's' neck. "Sometimes I don't think Izzy has any common sense..." Another kiss and the guitarist couldn't help but grin at the words of the man in his lap. "Why can't I tease? I have you to myself... remember?" Nakai asked, his lips warm over Chiyou's neck.

Seeing red eyes and a red head stirring, Ishihara suddenly became quite attentive to the man laying in that hospital bed. And when the violinist's gaze fell on him, You smiled politely and stood. "It's good to see you're awake, Ryuukaze-san. How are you feeling?" he asked, his voice not too loud in case the younger man's head hurt through the fog of pain medication.

"I feel......okay. A little sore...but okay. Ishihara-san, what happened?" the vocalist tilted his head to the side, puppy eyes still blinking away some of the fog. "I remember leaving Hayato-san's funeral....but then..." he trailed off. It had all happened so fast, and with such great impact, it was no surprise that the accident was a blur to the star. "Raito...I'm sorry. You're over here because of me...you must have been scared to death...." Ryu grinned apologetically at Kou. He'd caused another mess....great. Even the hairs on the back of his neck were standing on end. "Don't tease....because...because...mmmm....because I want it so bad and you're making me crazy and...and...oh god Kai, you just feel so good!" What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman - Ohayou Productions
The world has....changed
"Great...you just had to remind me of that." Hiroki rolled his eyes and downed the rest of his whiskey. "I think I want another after a statement like that." He got up himself and walked over to the bar. But instead of going for the same bottle, he dug a bit lower into the far back of the bar to pull out a dark and slightly dusty bottle. Turning to the side, he blew the dust away then popped a very heavy cork at the top. "Ah...it's still here."
Slowly he poured a small amount of very old single malt scotch into a fresh glass. "Mm....I wasn't sure if it was still here." Gingerly he peered at the golden liquid and carefully he set the bottle down then held up the glass to his nose. "Perfect still.... Mm...you may not know it but this a special bottle. Aki and I share one glass of this on the very day your first album hit #1 on the Oricon charts. Mm...and one glass when it went platinum. He spent a lot of money on this bottle. And funny thing is, it wasn't what he ordered. You never saw him so angry that he couldn't have the brandy he ordered for your special day. He personally called overseas and read the auction house the riot act in German. Come to find out the packager sent his bottle to someone else who had opened it already. So I told him maybe we should try this. Why not? At the time, we weren't sure you'd make it on the stage and when everything started to roll, it seemed surprising sort of like this bottle. He was certain he wouldn't like it. But, we poured it in glasses and gave a celebratory toast anyway. Well, I must say that Aki didn't become big on Scotch afterwards but he did manage to find another bottle of this and it's locked in the vault. He said that he expected we'd need a lot more glasses of this because you had so much more to sing."
His dark eyes gazed upon the contents of the scotch, reflecting on the past, before he walked over and handed the glass to Akihiko. "His dreams of you weren't always ones of family and marriage. If he had been younger and not so ill, I think he would have let things be. Mm...yes, if only we were immortal."
"Hah...I'm not a musician but I suppose you're right. 40 isn't so bad. Well at least not every day. I need to go back to the gym. So I can keep up with all the youngsters around me." he laughed then walked back to the bar to pour himself a small glass of the Scotch before closing the lid tightly.
"Yes, I have a feeling you'll find plenty of things to sing about. You can sing about his hard working nature and how he sneezes like a little girl." Hiroki chuckled because Izzy's sneezes weren't manly. They sounded kind of high pitched and nasally under the Kleenex.
Hiroki paused when the topic changed to something that he really rather not talk about. But he couldn't directly lie to Akihiko because the man was very good at picking those out. "I didn't spend Christmas with them this holiday. But...I'm meaning to connect with them after the New Years. I doubt my father would move up here to this house. But I might ask him. He's much older now. But...he loves Okinawa. I think it's the beach and the fishing that keeps him feeling alive." He glanced up from his glass and said softly, "So I'm guessing you had a good Christmas with Lucky-san?"

When Ryuu's eyes opened, Kou smiled right away, "Hi! Mr Accident Prone. You really do know how to worry a man." He came closer to the edge of the bed and put his hand on the edge of Ryuu's shoulder. No where near any of his injuries. He didn't say much more waiting to see how Ryuu was doing first since Ishihara-san had ask.

Nakai laughed softly, blowing warm air over Chiyou's ear. "I bet it does feel good... and you know... if I've you all to myself..." his other hand slipped down, tickling along the vocalist's other thigh this time. Both hands pulled on the muscles there, rubbing gently. "That means you have me all to yourself too... you know..." the blond whispered softly, tongue flicking out to lick Hideki's ear teasingly. "And... you really don't need your hands... or your eyes... for what I've got in mind..."

Ishihara frowned just slightly. He had been hoping to learn the cause of the crash. "Well after you sped away from the funeral, apparently you were on the phone with Kimura-san and had a wreck. He phoned SMASH who forwarded me the information and then I came here. But you should be fine, Ryuukaze-san." that small frown turned to a smile now. "You've had some surgery for your ribs and the doctor said you probably would be dead if not for the metal plate in your head. It's a bit dented and you're to be watched for signs of dizziness, memory loss, vomiting, etc. just in case."

Taking glass in hand, Akihiko's blue gaze focused on the liquid as Hiroki spoke. After a few moments the man smirked slightly... sadly... "He never told me that. I mean... he called and told me it had reached #1 but..." the young tiger shook his head, sighing. "Gods what I wouldn't do for your happy memories, Asato... I'd ask if he truly was proud of my music but it would be a stupid question because you would only tell me yes... even if it weren't the truth." He didn't drink the liquor, instead setting the glass down before running his fingers through his hair, unconsciously rubbing at the scar on his head for a moment. "That night... when he came to MeKA and spoke with Ruki about his contract... I'll never forget it. I'll never forget hearing from his own lips that whatever feelings he had for me were misinterpreted on my part. That the notion of me crying over his death or fearing being alone... was ridiculous." Narcissus shook his head, thumb running over the lip of the glass idly as he spoke. "Ruki signed ojisan's contract because he loves me. He told me," a sad smile came to the man's lips. "that sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the one you love, even if it hurts you to do so... So naturally when ojisan handed me that contract of marriage and had the butler hold a gun to Ruki's head... I signed." blue eyes lifted, suddenly focusing on Hiroki intently. "I don't ever. EVER. Want to have to make a choice like that again, Asato. I signed a piece of paper and nearly destroyed the only thing that's made me happy in decades... because of the actions of a man that I thought was important to me. Hell even after hearing how I was such a disappointment, I STILL loved the old b*****d. He was my family. So don't tell me that his dreams for me weren't always of family and marriage. He was as good an actor as I, Asato, if not better. How many of your memories were his masks worn to appease? How many times was he 'happy' only to feel bitter and disappointed inside? Can you fathom what it feels like to love someone... only to find out you meant nothing more than dollar signs and DNA?" Akihiko clicked his tongue against his teeth in annoyance before downing the whole glass in one go. It was damn good single malt... that much he could tell. Setting the glass on the table, Narcissus sighed and rubbed his eyes. "I'm sorry... It's just no one understands and Ruki's sick and I just... I feel like everything's coming unglued bit by bit." He tried to push himself back onto something more fun to talk about... something more pleasant. Thankfully Hiroki's words distracted him now. "Mmmm... I already tried to get him to let me write a song about him sneezing. He wouldn't go for it." Akihiko shrugged his shoulders, trying to focus in on this change of subject. He enjoyed talking about Izzy. Kept him sane really. "Nice quiet Christmas. Just the two of us... not counting the fact that I fainted and Ruki ended up on the phone with Shou trying to find a physician to come check on me. Turns out it was this," he pointed to the spot on his head where the scar was. "Or related to this. I've been fine though since. Took some medication... slept a lot... really quiet Christmas." a smirk came to his lips as he thought how true that was. "AFTER Christmas though... that was nice." Damn right olive oil in the car was nice. "So you spent the holiday alone? Didn't meet any nice piece of a** in Okinawa to distract you from the holiday woes?"
