Sophus Bardos Shadow in the dark Sophus Bardos GARRR i cant do TTFATF on expert yet >.> i can get upto 70-80 % and then my hands die of pain. Its ******** stupid considering i can play the REAL song on REAL guitar . I needs to practise moar ! Anyway: Jer: s**t dude dunno what to say except bin all the ******** letters and try to move on. This isn't a real guitar. =P everyone fails at the intro, if you cfant actually play it fast enough ( which i can do xD ) then you can hold the green button down and just tap the other notes with your right hand . You only have to strum once with your elbow and the rest isnt too bad. Look on youtube if you still cant do it for 'through the fire and the flames tap' that way youll get at least 10% done. I just cant do the massive string of guitar solos. Shadow: i wanna play that game, your analysis of the ending intrigues me. fix't And I'm practicing tapping at the moment. I suck. XD So far I've been tapping the green button down and playing it like that. I can play the rest of the song fine (some how)

And I play bass decently, but I still find the game enjoyable. Much like I enjoy DDR, despite it's simplicity, and obviously stupid 'dance moves'. Regardless, we can switch the topic. I've been fairly excited about Darkfall, if anyone's heard about it.

WRONG Jer. Guitar Hero makes you use all of your fingers and especially use your ring finger correctly - a finger which is notoriously weak in people beginning to learn guitar. It introduces basic ideas on how the real instrument is played and for skilsl such as tapping and hammer-on pull-offs, it works much better than trying to WATCH someone do it, or have it explained to you.
Ok, so you're not going to play GH3, then go and play TtFatF on a real guitar, but it isnt exactly inaccurate either and a LOT of the songs on it, especially in expert mode, are HARDER than on a real guitar. Its a fun challenge, an enjoyable game and lets us less talented muscians rock out in good humour. But enough about that.
I cant say any game has my attention right now, which is a shame.

At first from what I read... I wasn't sure, but the more I read.. the more interested I am.
I doubt this computer will handle it and with dial-up, it'd be a pain in the a** to play.

Roan, I'm going to ignore that last part because you KNOW how much I hate DragonForce.
In any case, I'm not much for MMOs anymore. They get tedious way too fast, and you usually end up doing nothing but grinding.
The only game I'm genuinely excited about at the moment is Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. That's mostly out of my love for adventure games, obviously, but hey, it's being made by Naughty Dog, the same guys who made Crash Bandicoot, and we ALL know how fun THOSE games used to be.
Yeah, I know it's out now, but the most I've seen of it is the trailer from back in July. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas, seeing as I've heard nothing but good things.

Loke, the long grind is doubtful. While there is high level equipment, it is freely lootable if someone kills you. While there are levels, a max level character can be taken down by a handful of beginning level chacters if the player skill gap is wide enough. It's focused more on personalization of your character, and then developing playing skill.

That still doesn't take away from the fact that I'm no longer into MMOs, and I really don't want to be ever again, to be honest.
The last MMO I played was City of Heroes, and that was just for about 20 minutes, so I could give away a bunch of crap I didn't need to a friend before my subscription ran out and such. The last one I actually played to be entertained with was WoW, and everyone here knows me relationship with that game, sans for you, Erich.
The main reason MMOs turn me off anymore is simply because of the monthly subscription, and the people who play them, in general, suck. A lot. A whole lot. I don't particularly want to associate with a bunch of people who will watch you, wait for you to finish a rather long battle, and then swoop in and pick you clean of whatever items you had just received.

sorry i have been absent as of late but with my custody case tomoro i have had a little bit on my mindover the last couple of weeks
for those waiting on rp im very sorry to keep you waiting and as soon as i know the outcome of tomoro ill have a better frame of mind and be able to post once more.

I cant afford to buy the things I need right now, let alone pay for some game. >.< Not to mention I have dial-up and an old computer. x.x Then get something off of her Christmas Wishlist!
