I've completed your certs but please be sure to use the proper modifier for adding your familiars to your Soq certs in the future that you will need to use along with the recert modifier for each pet being renamed. heart It's very easy to lose that in all the text otherwise.
Soquili cannot be renamed unless this is a rehoming scenario. As this isn't the case, we are unable to alter the original name for your Soquili.

I was told that because this soquili is named after my deadname and it makes me extremely uncomfortable i would be allowed to change it...can the staff please communicate with each other over this? this is the third time i have been told something different about this. its very triggering to be told i am forced to keep a deadname that upsets me every time i see it. it is beginning to feel both targeted and transphobic at this point. neutral

Hi Foxbunni,
Firstly, I would like to apologize that any of this has come off as transphobic. As a transgender man myself, I understand how upsetting and triggering being exposed to deadnaming can be. We are a shop full of transgender and non-binary people, including on staff, and work hard to be inclusive; transphobia is not tolerated in the shop.
Renaming pets has always been a case-by-case basis and discussed amongst management before approval; in the majority of situations, it is not allowed.
There was some confusion on which of your pets needed to be renamed due to being a deadname; I misunderstood and thought you meant Pixie, so that was the only pet I notified other certists about, and that's why Ara said she couldn't update Firefly's name; we thought you had already renamed your deadnamed pet. Ara has already updated Firefly's cert for you, and I've gone ahead and updated your teepee with their new name too. You will still need to make a post in the Stat & Teepee Updates Thread to update Firefly's new cert (since I don't know if you want to use official links, or an image of your own).
We won't make you change Pixie's name back, but for future reference, situations regarding name changes like Pixie's should have only been approved to correct the spelling, and not renamed entirely.
