Just wanted to put everything together
biggrin I added some of my own Idea's wow... It's a huge list.... still need to update it... can't view the first page of convo in 'preview page'
Support: Village Hospitals:These will be located only within the villages themselves, and only provided for Ally's or Locals.
Medic huts:Possibly on Roads & the Outskirts of a village
Repair vendor:Placed within distant locations, not every two places has one, maybe limit it to three to make it interesting.
Cart: A cart traverses across a specific road charging x amount for it's services. Any village may build one of these through their village funds and the profit from people paying ryo to use it is divided amongst the two villages it traverses between. This would likely decrease post amount/time needed to wait but would cost ryo to use. Could not be combined with shortcuts.
Offensive:Village Army:Want to take down a village, hear the roar of it's massive army, this army rampages you with wave after wave of ranking shinobi. Beat them all and you end up fighting the Kage. Fail and you Die a harsh quick death.
Village Attack force:Increases all offensive checks by x
Must make a check every x posts due to village on high alert, failing the check means you recieve x damage.
Defensive:Village Security:security can be light or heavy depending on how many buys a village has. this would simply debuff any stealth checks made to secretly enter the village undetected.
Village Accessibility:Simply stating this would add a debuff to Agility or something else, not sure. depending on how well a village barriers are is how fast one can enter and exit. Of course this would be the first check to be made before accessing the 'Village Security' check.
Body Guards:Technically this would be a village based object, the Guards could be used in traveling. their duties are simply to protect you and who ever else your aligned with to complete a serious task.
Traveling: takes off X amount of time due to knowing thier home roads. { your country to Said country, not just normal traveling }
Emergency Bunker:A hidden emergency bunker that has its own stealth PC and can hold X amount of ninja at a time, which would basically provide a strong buff to those who are hiding inside.
Diplomatic Den: A place where no killing is allowed even on those with bounties on them. Think of it as a sort of safe house for all. Anyone that broke these rules would be assaulted by the NPC's (just represent this as a "misc" buff to whomevers side they're on. Those buffs could be to toughness, damage, accuracy, potency, or what have you depending on the type of NPC's within).
These buffs would be reflected in sorts of "group" attacks and "group" defenses.
For example:
You're in a Diplomatic Den having ducked away after you got wind that someone was hunting you down do to a recent bounty.
Once inside the group catches up to your trail and finds you within. Being brazen they decide to attack. The Den is level X and grants you +100 toughness, +100 resistance, +100 Accuracy and +1,000 damage.
The toughness could be represented by others taking partial damage for you (such as trying to counter attacks but being only partially successful). The resistance could represent medics in the Den helping remove harmful effects off you, accuracy could represent members of the Den attacking at the same time and damage the same. Hmm, I really don't see why you would gain all those Mysterious buffs when it's a no fighting area. In fact I would assume the opposite of just what you've suggested anyone who were to attack in this area would gain all Negative penalties for no obeying the structures rules. I think that makes more sense than a buff in a no fighting area.Other: Library:Store Techniques & Others Learn those Techniques
Jail/Prison: Minor crimes; A small stun check to be made, If they fail they wait several hours before being released.
Serious crimes; A above average stun check to be made, If they fail they must wait several days to be released.
Vault:holds treasured items,
[ Possibly for a time period... don't want people to get too bulkishly greedy towards items & those who want to break in need a check like ele stated.]Hired thugs:Hired muscle guards a road. Players may make a stealth check vs the awareness of the thugs to avoid them. Failure means they must confront them. Full combat is not necessary simple series of checks based off certain aspects bought for the thugs (perhaps perform a counter, perform a dodge, perform an attack roll vs their dodge total, etc) if the majority are failed the players are left at half chakra/stamina until they wait x time to rest up and they loose x ryo which the owner of the thugs gains a % of. Only one set of thugs (the highest level ones) may be on any given road (the others are scared or chased off until they're stronger or placed on a different road).
I would also suggest a debuff to what ever check is needed, as there could be any where from five to fifteen thugs lurking around the area.
Example:
1st buy; 3 thugs
2nd buy 6 thugs
3rd buy 9 thugs
