I really hate these direct combat events! I'm really bad at them and havent really ever taken part 8<

So you're in Towns? I always ToT in the shops. With the added "FIND JACK" feature I'm sorta failing at it all, but eh...

Oh, yeah, actually I'm in the shops too 8D; Sorry for not being clear on that. It's way easier in the shops. I saw the number "50" in the Towns for the number you have to get and I was just like... SCREW THAT, MAN! XDD
There's a very useful thread I found lats night that tracks where Jack is! Lemme see if I can find it for you..

I dunno, from what I can see the big event items are just like lycanthropy related... like silver bullets and stuff... so if you're into that kind of thing go for it!!
If you search Halloween or 2k11 on the Marketplace you should be able to see more

In theory I'll be able to buy the event items anyways. I'm packing over 500,000 god right now and the stuff I could sell haha.
Convention items are awesome. Last year I got a kitten star and this year I got a takubon. No idea what it is other then volume 2 of Gaia's #1 manga apparently.

I've given up on this event. It failed to interest me like the previous ones.
In other news, while I normally like snow, seeing it this early in the year simply ain't cool... especially when I have to drive in it. A pretty big storm hit the eastern part of the US today that dumped enough snow to a) cause tree branches to crack and fall into the roadways, b) drop visibility to a fraction of what it normally would be, and most importantly c) get the roads so slicked up that even going reasonably slow on the highway, I still partially spinout while braking. stressed sweatdrop stressed
Yeah, that's right; I kinda lost control of my car on four separate occasions trying to drive back to New York from New Jersey (about a 90 minute drive in clear conditions; took almost 4 hours). Each time, I managed to regain control again and straighten the car back out before it was perpendicular to the street, but having the car fishtail due to lack of traction is NOT a pleasant experience by any means...
So yeah... it's been a long day. I'll elaborate on the rest of the madness later if you're interested, but for now I'm going to bed to sleep it off.
