Dante Decker No seriously I haven't even drawn a gun in a month crying Actually my last two images were a pocket watch and a sword, neither leave shell casings remarkably. Evidence: hereand hereAnd if it just happened then I'm thinking of a similar event form a few years back, actually there been a lot of them over the last ten years and at least one or two have won. *drools* this reminds me that we need to reequip Hono and Rae xd

I've seen that before.
I was going to give it a try back just before people got into Diablo, but I can't download s**t on my home internet.
And I could commission a gun, but... I think I lack the funds. Or a knowledge of guns. Maybe someday I'll have more funds and know something, or just want an example of a hellberd. XP

Pocket Gal I agree with Rae. You drew those? he is totally amazing when it comes to inanimate objects, and a god of weapons design 3nodding he not only draws them, but he creates them, writing up full descriptions of use and physical characteristics.... I bet that he would have been a real blacksmith if he was born in different times 3nodding

Psychofish And I could commission a gun, but... I think I lack the funds. Or a knowledge of guns. Maybe someday I'll have more funds and know something, or just want an example of a hellberd. XP Ive made more complicated weapons for those who have understood less tbh, at least I'd know you would do it justice with your posts. "hellberd" sounds like an evil Halberd, Im intrigued. Crystal: hush or I'll make you wait in the car, I have no scheduled 'blush' in my schedule for today. heart

That is amazing.
I have absolutely no creative talents, and if I did I would have drawn a badass character with a badass huge sword.
Fish, I just downloaded it last night. I've been looking for a game that the women warriors have huge swords. It's actually very hard to find any such games.

Crystal: ugh, that means I need to pass it on as well and that require me to *gulp* compliment *gasp* someone...
This may take some practice.
Dirge: I see what you did there.. *shoves him in the trunk*
Pocket: Surprisingly few women with big swords have passed this way as well, going back to oh-three I can think of... well none to be honest.

I generally call it the lolHellberd.
I'm told the emperor's guard in 40k have something like it- basically a halberd with a second barrel attached at the head-end. Basically putting a gun barrel in beside the spike along the head. It's not meant to be terribly accurate, but the general plan is that if I've got an undersized army of normal humans lacking full modern tech trying to work their way up, and the troops don't have magic support, I want to give them something fun in theme but effective.
I generally figure on making it single shot, bolt action (more because I love bolt action than because it's effective) meant for the front few lines of men to stand shoulder to shoulder and fire large rounds as the enemy approaches or they do. Reload a final shot before the charge, and if something gets stuck on the spike and just won't go down you can blow it off the end of your halberd. I've considered having grenade launcher style equivalent for the fifth and sixth rows of men, but I'm afraid that working out lower-tech style grenade launchers for them might be a bit much.

Someone should draw Athan's sword while we're having this discussion.

No, Desi, no.
If there's a sword to be drawn it's Katie's.
