.... Look, those same emotions cripple a person in battle. Emotions lead to hestitation, and hestitation in war is deadly. I don't expect you to understand how I feel. You haven't seen a whole platoon of your friends wiped out becuase one person thought twice about shooting down an unarmed enemy recon unit. Besides, do i look like a macho "man" to yo.........

Those same emotions can save a person, give them a reason to do that because they have someone to live for... Like a child. Or a wife...

If I had not have come here I wouldn't have learned my race was in danger, and wound one day be extinct.... Now I know, and I can try to save them.
If I hadn't have come here I wouldn't have found my beloved, nor, would I have gotten pregnant at this point in my life.... *She smiled* So I do believe everything -does- happen for a reason... if not we wouldn't be here.

I didn't plan to get pregnant....
But in my world, such things are taken as a blessing when it happens.... He and I are now.... not together anymore.... but... I have a feeling I'll see him again one day and get to show him his daughter.
As strange as it sounds, this isn't uncommon in my world, because the community raises the child, not just the mother.

I only know the human world is different than mine because it was part of my teachings....
I know humans prefer modesty to, nudity most of the time, unlike we fae. *She giggled a bit* And that, used to, men controlled everything, unlike in my world, where we control things equally but we are always, ALWAYS ruled by a -Queen-. *She smiled*

Maybe... but I don't think I'm the let loose type. I'd much rather sit around. And when I don't feel like sitting around, I walk around town (really doing nothing, of course) and accidentally do bad things that make people hate me and call me a dumpy goth b***h. Mostly the parents of young children, because I'm a really shitty influence.
But I'm just ramling now... meh...
