@Summer: For some reason, I thought you were older O_O. Like, at least 23.
@Esh: Urgh. Pinot Noir ought to be my favorite kind of red wine for both drinking and cooking. I just love it. Chardonay when it comes to use white wine in cooking tough. (not a fan when it comes to drinking it).
@Usagi: It really depends on the kind of alcohol and how its mixed! For example, I know a lot of people who drinks beer and don't even like the taste, which really, I find stupid. I'm not encouraging you to drink, but if you ever wanted to try something for whatever reason, i wold go for a strawberry daiquiri. The taste of alcohol is usually well hidden behind the sugary strawberry taste of it.

I usually don't even like the sugary, fruity stuff. I'll try it and be like "This is decent" and then like a second later the alcohol aftertaste kicks in. I've tried a few different things, just never anything I've liked.

I'm assuming the age is 18 over here. I could be wrong. I used to go all 'Ewww alcohol D<' for most part of my life. For some time I just didn't partake and now I'm completely indifferent to it. I don't have any interest in it, though I can take a sip of some random wine every now and then. Plus my two closest friends tend to drink some, and I'm usually the one driving so. Every once in a while though, I go on binge taste, like today. I was not entirely in a positive mood and I decided it was a good idea to take my friend's beer and take a few swings. Didn't exactly like it xD But really I just don't have any interest in alcohol, which leads to zero tolerance =D

Don't worry, Usagi, I can't stand the taste of alcohol either. owo This one izakaya my friends and I like has this thing called milky peach (mirukii piichi) that has so little alcohol I can enjoy it. But usually I just drink chu -hai, which seems like a good idea at first, but always makes me go THIS WAS A MISTAKE like three sips in.
My friends were always hassling me to drink, it was obnoxious. While I was 18 and 19 I could use the minor card, but now that I'm twenty I just drink a little, to be polite. Japan's weird, it's seen as rude to not drink.

Its like my hometown! Its a common knowledge that if you ask a friend to borrow 20$ to pay a bill, he'll be reluctant, but if you ask it to get alcohol they'll give you like 100$ instead. Yay for small fisherman town I never want to ever go back to! =D

That sounds like such a lovely town, Lone. haha.
Speaking of drinking, a saw a drunk guy today... He told my boyfriend that he wanted to work at -insert place my bf works here- if he could get a girlfriend that looked like that ( meaning me). Then we kind of just kept walking.
I don't know why, but I felt the need to share that story.

Ahaaa, alcohol. I'm still a minor, and I don't plan on drinking early, so that's all there is to it for me. I do remember sneaking a sip when I was really young, though. I think I was 11 when I took a sip of beer. ^^
