"Oh, yes! Thats the one! Wow, it even looks like something meant to convert people, not that it's my intent to..." I say. However, the matter of leaving brings up another concern. I turn back to face Xiao. "I'm so sorry for ruining our... moment, but we need to leave very, very soon. The Red Army will be here within two days time..." I say in a more serious voice, though a hint of longing for that joy again was very clear...

"It's decided, the cat girls comes with us, we leave after everyone has eaten" Willow placed the book back into the bag before walking to the front door and looking out.

I sigh as she walks off with my book, and the fact that she glaced over the utility of grabbing things to sell. "You mind giving me that book, it's pretty important to me. Also, I'm getting some stuff to sell before we head out. If We're fighting an army, we need supplies, and we need resouces, and money can buy all that!" I say to Willow as I go to serve myself up a dish.

Layla: Xiao nods, understanding what you're telling her. When you go to serve yourself, she smacks your hand. "Go tell everyone that the stew is ready," she says. "I'll serve you at the same time as everyone else." She says the first part sternly, like a mother, but says the second part sweetly, like a devoted wife.

"Owwww!" I cry out in an overdramatic voice. I walk past and smack her on the butt playfully and lightly. "Payback!" I shout back to her. I walk out of the kitchen, into the living area, and clear my throat a little. "Everyone, the food is ready!" I call out.

I look at Apollo with a bit of sympathy, but then try to smile. "Well, like you said, this is all for a new start. Maybe that's the case for me!" I try to sound more upbeat to help him feel better. I turn to watch the boy upset about his parents dying... and sigh. I really didn't do much socializing and helping a younger kid with the worst type of loss he's probably known wasn't necessarily my forte... but before i know it I turn to Apollo, "Will you excuse me a moment?" I then walk over to the kid and attempt to get to his eye level, knowing I was usually annoyed when people stood above me. "Hey, buddy, why the tears?" I figured he wouldn't appreciate me being an eavesdropper...

Layla: "Oh!" Xiao cries out when you smack her butt. "Good comeback!" The NPCs and non-main players, except for one that's crying and Orufi, all head toward you.
Leina: "M-M-My p-parents were k-k-killed..." he stammers. "I-I-I-I-In A-Aerust..."

After standing around for a bit, I walk back to Xiao and grab her from behind. "So do I get my food now?" I ask, holding a playful and sarcastic tone in my voice. I then walk off to go find a quill and ink to sign the contract to make Xiao's freedom legal.

"Come on, Mazurn, let's eat," I say as I slightly ruffle his hair mischievously, "and maybe you can get some rum and beer closer to town, since they have taverns for dried out travelers. I just need chocolate or some good thick meat and I'll be happy." I grin after I state my preferences, then walk over to Apollo and Leina, whom I see comforting a boy. I smile at the boy and Leina and then say, "I could get some food for you two so he doesn't have to get up." I nod at her in acknowledgement, then smile at Apollo before walking back to Mazurn and motion my hand for him to follow closely behind me to get good spots in line.

"Heh heh heh." Mazurn laughed as he walked alomg with Branwen. He was hungry, but also thirsty for beer. This game is pretty interesting. Going to have to get some of the tech.

Layla: "Hold on, hold on!" Xiao says, laughing.
Everyone: "If you're hungry, get your butts in here!" Xiao yells. She carries the pot of stew into the dining hall and starts pouring it into the bowls that Willow had set out. The NPCs and non-main players slowly take their seats. The end of the table closest to the kitchen is left open for the main party, with Layla's natural seat being at the head of the table, seeing as it is her manor.
Layla: You find the quill and ink easily enough.

I run back to Xiao, with a skip to my step after retrieving the writing instuments. I present them to her happily. "Now, all you have to do is sign! Well, I have to sign too, but still. What do you want to do now that you're free?" I say to her, waiting to place my signature on that paper.

My eyes widen with excitement at the mention of food and I briskly walk to the dining room and take a seat near the head of the table.

Layla: She smiles and quickly signs her name in big fancy letters, much like on her bedroom sign. She then hands you the quill. "The first thing I'm going to do is travel with you," she says. "I want to see the world!"
Apollo: You find the bowl in front of you already filled with stew. It looks like a meat stew. It smells really good. Will you wait for the others to be seated, or will you dig in now?

I sign the paper in calligraphic font, making the last motion very dramatic, as to give it symbolic fashion. "Oh, how hard it will be to fulfll your wish! I may never be able to help you with that!" I say in an over dramatic voice. "But, I would love that... Maybe tonight we could sleep under the stars on the cool grass..." I say dreamily, and then I start to blush as I realized how corny that probably sounded.
