Without awaiting a reply he turned around and exited the room in order to find a more suitable area in which to research

((It's definitely been a good gig so far - though it has been keeping me busy. At least haven't poofed for a month, this time. Things got pretty hectic with a postgraduate forum I'm part of as well, and in addition to starting to write my first chapter - very provisionally, more to have a writing sample for assessment and not that it'll at all be a polished and finished dissertation chapter - and working on a funding application. I won't count on it but it'd fully fund my second and third year which would be amazing and greatly reduce the amount of debt I have. Good to have found there are at least some funding opportunities for internationals, and that are merit based not some random obscure criteria based like "from only these three countries" or "must be under this age" or etc etc etc.

Anyhow with the 15th past how are you doing, both work wise and life wise?))

Seto let his phone go to voicemail when Jounouchi attempted to get a hold of him. He dashed off a quick text message promising to "return shortly." With a frown he returned his focus to the information on the screen, apprehensive about what to do next.

((Yea I've been going a bit mad with stress but I'm enjoying. Over-worked definitely beats sitting around my parents house alone and at a loss for life purpose. razz I'd say it sounds like they've decided to keep you, so hopefully you feel better soon and that things stay good.))

Seto decided to keep his discovery to himself for the time being. He packed up his laptop after making a few notes about the research points he would share with the group. He needed to quickly regain his composure and head back to the waiting room before Jounouchi came looking for him. Shouldering his bag he realized how odd it was to think for a second Jounouchi would come look for him, or to think about the other man at all. He brushed those thoughts aside and started to walk back to ICU.

Oye, sorry. Sexy Kaiba! I think the obviousness of your choice is quite clear indeed. It's good to treat yourself to things now and again. I won a £50 Amazon voucher and was going to try to use it on books that are harder to get, practical things. In the end I decide to just have a bit of fun and bought a couple of corsets, which I've wanted for awhile, and went to a rocky horror night. While the venue wasn't great dressing up with my friends was a lot of fun and I had an amazing time putting my bf into a corset. He took first place in the costume contest and I got to go home with a (his) giant box of chocolate as the prize (and him).

Anyhow hope things are well on your end. Looking forward to mid-March as a lot of what's going on now will wrap up or decrease then. Try to be a bit less poof but I guess it'll depend on that balance between work is killing me and work is killing me so much I must visit all the internet sites and procrastinate!).

Halfway back to the ICU Seto felt an urgent need to pick up the pace. He quickly rounded a blind corner leading up a stairwell, only to slam right into an equally flurried Jounouchi who was in the process of descending the final few steps. Not feeling quite as coordinated as usual, Seto lost his balance and fell flat on his back on the floor. Jounouchi having grabbed the banister managed to remain on his feet, if shaky, so Seto glared up at him. As if it was entirely the other man's fault Seto had decided to race around corners with no thought to who might be hidden out of view.

((Busy does suck, I like all the things I'm working on now, but at the same time I want the freedom to just curl in bed, watch a movie, and not feel guilty about all the projects lurking in the background. Also I really want to take tomorrow evening off. It's cliche and all, and generally I'm not a cliche romantic, but last year was the first year of my life I've been in a relationship on Vday and the bf and I were 6000+ miles apart. So this is the first Vday I actually could engage in the whole romantic nonsense, and I kind of want to. I just don't want deadlines to ruin this for me.

I'll hope you get that Jounouchi doll, I guess Malik and Bakura get more fan-service, but Jounouchi is technically more of a main character. I'd say he'd be a very logical next doll. Good luck not getting carried away, I guess the one thing that makes self-control easy generally is I don't have time to play with/read things so I put off purchasing anything that isn't really really cheap. As I'm in such a transitional life stage atm and really could end up anywhere in the world in the next couple of years decorative things don't make sense either. Minimalism, it's my life now. That's pretty cool about the $50 thing though. I hope I can make my remaining £9ish pounds work out exactly, unlikely though (although a bit easier if I find something that costs exactly the amount I have as online purchase shipping is often free within the UK without a minimum spend).

Rocky horror was awesome, Tom's was probably closer to being in style then mine (mine was more of a burlesque type one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007517LG8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00), but I'd definitely say he pulled it off. He is pretty for a guy, doesn't have a lot of body hair, and has fairly good skin (particularly in the face). Plus a lot of the guys were a bit more reserved and/or not in corsets. People who dressed up like meatloaf or riff raff obviously wouldn't have been, but even the guys who came in corsets usually wore something like a long skirt or shorts with it. Tom wore black briefs underneath the thong that came with his, however there were only a few other guys who were showing off that much. One of them actually dressed up as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and it was pretty good. He won last years contest I think though (not that he was disqualified just less thrilling for some to have a repeat). Plus Tom generally lives in his jeans and metal shirts, so I think it was just really shocking for people to see him like that, and that made it more popular with the crowd.))

Despite it being completely out of character for him, Seto accepted the proffered hand. Once back on his feet he glared down at the still smirking Jonouchi again, asking "where are you heading off to anyhow?"

((Well plenty of things were cliche. Bedroom filled with candles and incense. However he'd set up a blanket on the floor with pillow seats (just done with bed stuff) and printed a "menu" and cooked me dinner to order. The main course being a steak. He's vegetarian so he put a lot of effort into figuring out what to buy and how to cook it. Considering he's never eaten a steak (raised vegetarian, pescetarian specifically, so all he's ever had is fish meat-wise) it was surprising and awesome how amazing it turned out. I've got to restaurants that have been unable to prepare as steak as well. He also pulled up season one of Yu-gi-oh, because I talk about it enough, he is aware I roleplay with you and he even got into the abridged series being in the room when I watch it at times. So he wanted to give the show a shot and share it with me. Funny enough while he never really watched the show he did have a deck back and school and played the game. That was really amazing though, and as he's watching the series having seen the abridged series first he did get a kick out of it hearing "TAS" lines over the show lines. But yea, that was definitely amazing.

I think Jounouchi is "cool" but true he doesn't fit into the millennium artifact/Egyptian arc side of things. Still I'd say he's a good doll candidate, especially as if you think about dolls being something people tend to put more in sets. Pegasus is more of a stand alone character, and Malik probably wouldn't fit in a YY/Seto grouping (at least no more than Jou). So while he could still be beaten I say there's still hope. At the very least hopefully they'll do one eventually if not next.

He's never seen Rocky Horror so he just kinda put the theme together - as much as when we got there everyone was amazed at how "I" dressed him up, he wanted to and pretty much did pick out and put everything together himself. I like what he put together more than what I like on any of the main male characters anyhow. It was funny coincidence though that the 3 who made it to the "top 3" of the costume contest were all dressed as their own thing and not as a Rocky Horror character. The top 5 had a meatloaf and a Riff Raff and they were the first two knocked out.))

"Some of us do not have the luxury of free time to spend yammering on the phone," Seto answered haughtily, despite the fact that lately him and Jounouchi had exactly equal amounts of free time, both busy with whatever occurrences were currently plaguing them.

"Anyhow leaving is fine, has Mokuba returned? Has he had the details of our plight and venture summarized for him?"

((Haha, a delicacy indeed. Riff Raff is my favorite character as well! I think this was one of the most dressed up years I've seen. There were only maybe 2 or 3 people who weren't at least kitted up in something fancy if not representing a character or even in a corset.))

'So we're starting with research then, should we head back to my mansion? Or is there a quiet location here where we'd be able to begin our search? I'd obviously prefer the resources and comfort of my own home, at the same time I'm not overly eager to pile our party back into helicopters again.' Seto proposed, turning to Jounouchi.

((Indeed. I agree on the voice bit, and Magenta is most likely my favorite female character.

I am going to start using 'single' quotes and I just might start spelling things the British way. My adviser has asked me to switch my Word doc to UK spelling. During MA they didn't care, but I guess if he'll be stuck with me long term this time then this is his preference. I have no strong case to argue so hopefully it won't be confusing.))

Jounouchi seemed uncomfortable in his response, and Seto was tempted to ask why. However that would be a personal subject, something he desperately wanted to disentangle himself from.

'That's fine, if working here is what you want to do we'll ask your sister and if she's unaware of a suitable location I'm sure a quick web search will give us something,' Seto stated decidedly.
