Christiana frowned and lifted the blade easily, once again moving to throw him off balance, she moved her blade to the side tilted it slightly with a flick of her wrist and swung it upward to meet his oncoming blow with all her strength. At the same time she twisted her body and moved with the momentum of her swing. Hoping she had timed it right she prayed she was strong enough for her blade to stop his, so her body would crash into his and if she was lucky enough knock him to the ground, instead of impaling herself on the damn cursed thing. And if she didn't knock him down she could always vanish...hopefully.

Not braced for her action, I found myself stumbling backward into the grass. The hilt of Hiratoshi slid from my hand momentarily and the hold on my mind became very lax. I moved my gaze over my surroundings, wondering exactly why I lost my grip on the sword, when I spotted it just a breath away from me. The tip of the blade was once again buried in the earth. I then recalled the female, and braced, fully prepared for her weight to fall upon my form.

With a soft thud, Christiana winced as her body met the hard unforgivable muscle of his. She hadn't been braced for the strength that the vampire had any more than he had been braced for her move, and while the small saber had done it's job of blocking his blade well enough it had also been knocked from her hand and landed on the ground several feet away. Her cloak tangled around her form and as a result of her awkward position when she fell, the males, tyeing her to him for a moment.

Flexing my fingers, I made an attempt to lift my hand free of the offending garment that covered me, only succeeding in tearing it. Biting back a growl, I tried to make my body move. The only way I could do that was to lift the woman off of me and roll her to one side so that I could sit up. "What the hell are you doing?" I asked, managing to keep my tone even and reserved.

She sees the quick movements of the new female stopping her attacker in his tracks. Her stance remaining defensive, only shifting her sword a bit closer to its sheath. Looking to see the other male shouting and running to the castle, she knew it would be a good idea to follow him. Looking between him and her attacker and the new female, her movements fluid and swift as she places her sword back into its sheath and follows the male heading for the castle. Catching up with him, she hopes that she would have the ability to thank the woman later, guessing that she had come from somewhere within the castle.

Marshall rushed to the huge doors of the castle, skidding to a stop just before he crashed into them. He was panting as he yanked on the left door, pulling it open. "Come on." he managed between breaths. "Is he following us?" He turned and looked behind him, relieved to see only the girl there. "That was crazy, eh?" A smirk slowly spread it's way over his lips. He'd narrowly escaped death, and rescued the girl all at the same time. Life here might prove to be far more exciting than he'd originally thought.

The ground turned out to be just as unforgivable as the man, and Crissy winced once again when her body met it. Though she knew it probably wouldn't have hurt had she not already been sore. Shaking her head, she glanced over at Arjay and and as usual was caught in the hard intensity of his gaze. "On nothing....really. Just thought I'd go for a walk...you know..enjoy the night air. And yeah fighting with you just sounded good. I forgot you tend to take it seriously though. Good thing i live for near death experiences." she replied sarcastically. Her eyes widened as she finished though, and she bit her lip hard. Where the hell had that come from, she wondered. the only person she ever dared to talk to like that was her brother and her brother had never come surprising close to running her through. She wasn't even sure Arjay was back to normal though she felt that he was.

I kept my gaze steady on her, my mind too numb to process what she'd said right away. Hiratoshi hummed through my mind like a bolt of lightning and I instinctively reached out and clasped my hand over hers. Instantly, he was gone from my mind, as though she were the very bane of his existence. This still puzzled me. How could one person have that much power over a cursed sword? Did she know that she had the power to send him away? Surely not, or she would have simply taken my hand to begin with...right? Her words came to me then and I felt myself frown. "You came out here to pick a fight with me?" I asked. "While the sword had my mind?"

Stunned that he had taken her seriously, Christiana frowned and looked down at her hand now interlaced with his. "No..of course not. You came awfully close to killing some girl. Then when i tried to stop you, you turned on me. I was trying to get you to let go of the sword, I thought that's what was happening." she answered softly, and raising her gaze back up to meet his she tugged lightly, seeing if he would relinquish his hold.

I tightened my grip on her hand when she tugged, keeping a firm hold on her. I glanced over to the Hiratoshi, my mind trying to cope with many thoughts at once. What if I just let her lead me inside without the sword? I couldn't predict what Hiratoshi would do to get back to me. How many lives he would take in the process. How much blood would it spill? In the end, it would only find it's way back to me. But for now, in this moment, I had a reprieve. "I thought I told that girl to get to the castle.." I said after a moment, remember the young woman from before. "How did I attack her again?"

She turns and sees that they weren't being followed, looking to the male now panting with breath, her breath moving just a small amount faster. Standing beside him for a moment before slipping into the castle. " Yes it is quite crazy, considering he also attacked me earlier. That was the second time that has happened. " She says a bit playfully. Letting a long slow breath slide into her lungs from her lips as she looks about the castle entrance, finding that it reminds her largely of what everyone expected a castle to look like, but then deciding that there has to be more than the usual here at this castle, what she had already been through in the short amount of time she was near it, she knew this much.

With a soft sigh, Crissy gave up trying to free her hand from his. Though she would really rather he stop touching her. It made her think of things better left alone. And what was he doing back so soon anyway? She thought a tad resentfully. He wasn't supposed to be back for centuries...she was supposed to have time to get over the ache she felt when he left. By the time he came back she was supposed to be older and more sophisticated and...she was relieved, she admitted silently. He was alright, the sword hadn't stripped his strength from him...not yet anyway. "She wasn't there yet obviously...I don't know." she answered with a slight shrug. "Perhaps she got lost in the grass of the plains. That happens quite a bit actually."

Taking this new information into my mind, I inhaled, then exhaled slowly. Getting to my feet, I pulled her up as well, then pulled the sword from the ground and sheathed it. I was sure that it used a lot of power during it's earlier tirade. Perhaps now it would be silent for a while. "Come on." I said simply, then started toward the castle with her in tow.

Not really seeing much choice in the matter, Crissy reluctantly quickened her pace to keep with the other vampires longer stride. It was that or be drug along. Shaking her head once more she for once was glad of her twins absence. Trying to deal with his unreasonable mind and what was happening with Arjay would just be too much.

I moved easily through the grass to where it ended just in front of the castle. She would be safe, as long as she could get into the castle before Hiratoshi sprung to life again. Giving her a gentle push toward the doors, I let go of her hand. "Go on inside. Let Lucid know what happened and tell him that I'm gone now." I said firmly. With that, I turned and started back through the grasses toward the Forest.
