And sorry to hear about your son's trip to Ireland being canceled because E-15, the unpronounceable multi-lettered (16 of them ... E and 15 other letters) Icelandic volcano. Is there any chance it will be rescheduled? My mom and I was also supposed to travel to Ireland in mid-May. I'm hoping that either the silly thing will quit erupting or the jet steam shifts. confused

User ImageIf only they had managed to get out one day earlier, they would have made their festival and been able to do all their touring and, since they weren't due back until the 24th, might not have been unhappy having a few more days on the island, although they opened two airports in Ireland just today. It's sad all around. Brad had planned an oh-so-romantic proposal at Donnegal castle . . . sigh. He proposed when they got back, much less romantically, but then, it's the acceptance which is the most important, right? And he had my antique Claddagh ring to offer, until they can find just the right one for her (then it can be a right-hand ring, to remember the *almost* trip).

The chorus left their deposit with the tour company with a guarantee that they can go next year for the same rate, so all is not totally lost.

I would really recommend you get trip insurance, it's what saved my son's group. I hope things will settle down by the time you're ready to go & it will be nothing but fun. Oh, and my egg isn't on page 1?


Glad they'll still get their trip. And congrats to your son and his fiancee! Mazal tov! (Did I spell that correctly?) Too bad the proposal couldn't be in Ireland but how exciting for everyone! We do have trip insurance ... whew! I double-checked all the paperwork. So that's a good thing. Thanks for suggesting that. That will make my mom a little happier that most of the money will be refunded if things are canceled. But I'm remaining optimistic. Our trip is May 15-26. Lots of things can happen between now and then.

I've got your egg ... along with a lot of others. Heading to the Incubator in a minute or two. biggrin

Well... the DC seems to be down... x.x Wonderful... um, I'll post what I have done of the Infirmary, then I guess one of us will try to update it and finish it as soon as we can. I got down to Safire, so everyone from Safire and below, I'm sorry but I wasn't able to add anything you might have into the Infirmary. :/
