She nodded her head and whiped a tear from her eye. She still wasn't sure..but she wasn't about to trod on such nice words said in her favor. They were just trying to cheer her after all. Kind of felt nice.
"Is there anything we can do in the interim? I'm not relaly comfotabl just sitting aroudn waiting for your father..."
Everyone knew how big Tanundra was, he made Lavi look like a lap dog. Fill their head with pain...if he ere to fall he'd make a lot of noise, alot of damage. His body would be carried forward with the inertia of his size. But at least he would come to a stop right?
Which would be great, being far enough away from the fortress to avoid damage...if the attack had done what it was supposed to do. And it had really, Tanundra WAS writhing in pain, unfortuantly it was also causeing his wings t beat franticlly, keeeping in the air, and keeping him moving. Hope he doesn't gain enough stability tp put up a sheild against thos psionic attacks.
The keening grew louder, and if one could see in well enough into the dark, five shapes were speedily approaching.

Oh Onyx had a smartass comment for that last statment by piper..but he kept it inside, only giving a bit of a sheepish grin and a nod at her. but then a grin to Whirlwind, and squeezing her shoulders lightly in a hugging type fashion.
"well. we can see if there are any books on history here. Malik does tend to like history..maybe we can find if there was some temple or old city that was a center of worship for the Sky Father. Or look and see if we can find out where the religion originated?"
Well. that didn't do quite what he had in mind. he needed to bring that dragon out of the sky, so to speak. and simple pain wasn't doing it. the writhign was slowing him down, but he was still moving and airborne. he was hoping the pain wuodl make his body want to stop. thus land and try to back away. so lets try a new appraoch. a little focus. the mind was wonderful to tamper in, you could do so much with it. lets transfer a bit of that pain..say..fifteen percent..to his wings.if hsi mind beleived his wings were in that pain, that should bring him down when his wings didn't want to move.

Though Onyx got a raised eyebrow back. Since when had he been in the habit of giving Piper sheepish grins, she had known him since he was a newborn...okay so she hadn't been there but point was she was one of the first people he chewed on. But a nod to them both. "Yes, he does like his history...I haven't spent too much time broswing in there but he probably does have something stashed away. And it was my library in the beginning here...but hopefully I liked it too seeing as it was a personality reversal." She shrugged lightly, scratching at bandages a moment. "I suppose I should start on that letter. Any important information you think I should offer him up front from yourselves?"

Aella shrugged out of the little hug gesture without looking uncomfortable with. "I suppose that is better than nothing." And was aobut to start walking..."Um..which way is the library?" Her own turn for a sheepish smile.
Yeah, that one helped. At least to get Tanundra grounded. Though he didn't really register the pain trasfure, his muscles reactied well enough. twitch in a spasm like way and not flappig the way he wanted them to. One giant hand swipped out in reach of Malik and his mount.
Five streaks of...something raced in towards the dragon and the drow. Movieing so quickly their chaps could not yet be determined, except for the fact that they were the size of large horses. Two were white, two were red, one was pearl.

"Downstairs. you've been there with me before, remember?"
So he gave a hug to piper, just cause he could, and tapped her bandaged arms to his finger.
"Maybe you should go to see Moonstone in Honoursfield? or perhaps have one of the clerics look at that?"
a little smirk before bounding down the stairs out fo smacking or thrown object range, to lead Whirlwind down to the library.
Well. that worked. and the massive claw found nothing, and Malik and Nightmare appeared out of another shadow, with a pat on Nightmare's neck. had to love that ability from his favored mare. Now to keep him on the ground, and maybe put him down in a real way. So he kept the pain, and just focused it on the pain receptors in his brain. make his whole body hurt.
Until noting the blurring objects, and the keening sound. he let Malvolence do it's work..though his attention focused on the blurred figures. that was an awfully familiar look to it. where had he read or seen something like that before..

A look at her forearms then up at Onyx for his tapping before he bounded off like the smart cat his was. But she shook her head. "Oh I'm fine..." Those were more for hiding marks than for any actual bleeding or pain, and of course to lesson the risk of directly rubbing against something that would irritate further. Oh yes, she had a good idea that Sevilin could indeed break her wrist. But while they went off to educate themselves she fetched some paper and ink, taking to writing out a letter to her father, even if her mind was more focused on Malik at the moment. He had such a knack for trouble. But soon enough she was heading outside to hand a letter off to a Zephyr.

"Hey, give me a break!" As she followed after Onyx, looking back at Piper and waving. "I don't remeber the way, and was concentrating on dodging things that last time."
Strange orders were being barked back and forth, in near perfect common, crisp and clear even for the speed that the creatures were traveling. One above all seemed to be leading the group.
"Deploy restraints!" said one.
"Aye, Sire!" responded four.
One dragon slowed long enough to land infront of the Tier'Dal, ignoring the Nightmare. A rider on it's back thrust a length of golden coloured rope into Malik's hands. "Hold this a moment, would you Fortress Master?" That length of rope was secured to five others. The pearl coloured dragon, one rope in it's claw, jumped away again, zooming out around the green dragon's flayling head.

Onyx only chuckled lightly.
"still...I thought you halfelves always remembered things..you know....that elf never forgets things.."
and into the library, holding the door open for her.
"here we are. shall we dance, you and I in this little learning party?"
Another little chuckle.
Okay..that rope was taken and held as securely as he coudl hold it, wrapping a lenght around his forearm and aroudn his wrist. hmm. interesting mounts..might have to look into those.
Don't you even THINK about it, D'vinn.
All 'Apocolypse' imagery aside though...they seemed intent on the same objective Malik had. subdueing Tanundra. So the help was welcomed for now. but what were thier intentions with the subdued dragon. kill him? cage him? or were they just going to set him loose somewhere else to wreak havoc on?

All the noise from the dragon who was in pain, even that far off? She was trying to ignore that, because that was where Malik was playing and she was trying to not let herself give in on that and then for lack of a better term, freak out. Though four fouls weren't particularly happy with the commotion. "Serino, I need you to take this to Kieran. We need him back here again with Raziel. As soon as possible too. I'll watch your own personally." A pet the the Zephyr who nuzzled each foal in turn and then took the letter and walked out, bliping out of sight and off plane. Watching him go she turned to the foals. "Alright my little ones, follow me." A whistle that got them in the following mood, leading a little line of four crossbreeds into the house. She had runing to do and she couldn't leave them alone scared like they were. Thus that jar was pulled out and a circle and symbol scribed to her palm. WHen pressed to the wall....several runes lit up on rest of the walls in the immediate area. "Well well, Sevilin. You certinally were busy." On to dissolving and deactivating each in turn, a little company of horses following her around while takign interest in household things.

"I'm also half HUMAN, remeber? Humans always forget." She walked inside, taking a quick glance around. Great, where to start?
"Dance?" Oh, that was a joke. She rolled her eyes. "I'll just whip out my shoes."
The speed of these dragons was profound, not matched by any living creature as far as they remembered. And they remebered alot. These five in particular...well, they'll tell you the story when they aren't so busy.
All of the ropes were branches from the Malik was holding, spdreaing out from it like ribbons on a may-pole. Each dragon wrapped their ends some where around the struggling Tanundra. The two reds wond thier ends around Tanudnra's belly, diving in and manuveing out of the way of claws and fances, the two whites around Tanundra's neck, the pear around the tail.
"Pull in the slack!"
"Aye, Sire!"
The ropes were pulled taut against the green, pulling on Malik's end as well. The gold coloured rope was twined with cold iron, so it was alreadt nulling the dragon's magic powers. The five took their ends to the ground, breathing fire on it and fusing the fibers to the ground.
Tanundra was forced low to the ground, and could not break the rope, though he sure struggled agaisnt it.
A red and the pearl landed next to Malik. "You can hand that end to Rodney. He'll secure it." The rider on top of the pearl waved, and pointed to the red dragon.

Onyx was already thumbign through books, his hands going over some, tail grabbing others and bringing them to his attention.
"I guess we can start anywhere. I doubt there's a section marked 'sky father info here'."
They worked fast. and he's have to find out what was in that rope. of course he let the influence of Malvolence fade from Tanundra..after all he was secured..then a glance at the red dragon..that must be rodney, right? or else the rider wouldn't have pointed to him..and tossed the rope he had to that dragon.
"So what are your plans for Tanundra. leave him here tied up? kill him? or do you have some method of knocking his sense back in."

Rodney took the rope in his jaws and secured it to the ground the way the others had been. The other three dragons landed as well, their riders dismounting.
"Our plans for the General..." it was not the dragon's rider that spoke, but the dragon. "We've only experiance this madnes once before, and it was not us who subdued him." The rider on his back dismounted, the pearl turned to him for a moment. "Owain, go see to the other riders."
"Aye, Sire."
Back to Malik. "Kill him, certainly not. You don't kill your commanding officer." He lower his head to a respectful hieght to Malik's "I am First Lieutenant Thrahaja."

No one said that dissolving other's rune while playing leader to a little herd of hores was easy. They all wanted her attention and it was busy somewhere else. And getting rid of Sevilin's runes weren't easy...he had made sure that there was quite teh bit of security on then, making what should only take but a few seconds take minutes, and making her work a bit harder. Which made for her lack of expertese on the matter prove all the more of a hinderance.
Though they were also getting more bold and taking to wandering on thier own, though every time a short sharp whistle was given they came running right back, little hooves clattering on the floors. Though they weren't responding to the whistle itself, but rather the pitches he was giving. Yes they were being trained and didn't even know it.
A look at the stairs, then back to the foals. "Should we see how bold you all really are then?"

Malik nodded lightly.
"Killing him might be a better solution if you can't bring him back to his senses."
They knew him, obviously. they had reffered to him as 'fortress master' but he glanced at the others. so these were Tanundra's Lieutenants.
"then you know why is has gone on his rampage. and since you know someone that lead you to him and me, then you might have a guess as to why the dragon here can't find her and has gone mad. Any clues as to where a palce like that exists?"

Owain went to enquire over his fellow riders. Dragon riders were more like the horses in this deal, they helped the dragons. Going places not suited for them to go, being an extra pair of hands and eyes...it was a fairly good system, and riders usually made strong bonds with their dragons. This group in particular worked very well together.
"We wouldn't have known had Roarke not sent one of Alaran's children to find us. If the Oracle has been taken again, and the Genral cannot contact her, it means her senses have been cut from his. I know the place where this happened before, but I cannot take you there."
Thrahaja sat back on his haunches. "If it interests you, the Academy has been destroyed."
"It would be nice though." She ranomly chose a book off the shelf and flipped through it. But it didn't look like it had anything usefull. She tossed it, chose another. "How are we going to narrow thigns down?"
