Oh! I said that aloud!
Janani looks about the room, surprised. She wants, partially, to make sure nobody else is there. It's strange that she accidently stated that she was short. It's not something she commonly lets be heard. It's linked to bad memories. In anycase, the cat's out of the bag, and we aren't talking about WhiteRose.
Heh... The average height for a female of my race is actually 10'3"...

Um...? It has to do with rank and title... My name confers the greatest of female ranks among my people...
Janani is most unusual for a Celestial Shard. Her stature is short and scrawny, her skin color dark, and hair purple. It wasn't exactly viewed positively by her peers in younger years, her first century or so. She puts on a feeble smile, trying to show that their words had helped more than they had. She even speaks in a lighter tone.
I'm glad you weren't hurt, Lilly.
It came out too late. Lilly was gone...

*Mystina sighs, standing up and walking over to Janani, giving her a hug* Dear, you don't have to pretend with me...
I know us telling you what we thought didn't help as much. I can feel it. It's okay... You were hurt by someone obviously sweetheart, and, this brought up memories of it I assume... I can understand our words not helping, but do know, you have people here that think you're wonderful and beautiful. *Mystina smiles reassuringly*

Janani smiles and returns the hug, as gently as she can. She doesn't know how her strength compares to Mystina's, so she restrains herself, possibly overly so. She's right, though... The words hadn't helped as much as Janani had shown. She didn't like it...back in the village...when they made fun of her and her brother for being so short, scrawny, dark-skinned, and purple-haired. She smiles, weakly, as she speaks.
I truely thank you, Mystina. It's not so bad, now. My peers have grown wiser. It's just...I sometimes get riled about being called a freak...

Exotic? She may not understand the usage of that word, but Mystina's words do bring Janani comfort. She heaves a heavy breath as she pats Mystina's head. It's kind of a feeble attempt to return the affection the Fae just showed. It's so feeble, in fact, that she barely touches her head but three times.
I thank you, again. You're going to make a wonderful mother.

Janani tilts her head, a confused look coming over her face. The culture of her village, possibly to all Angels (but she has no way of knowing that), is to always refer to the baby, never "unborn" child, as he or she. Using the term "it" to describe the baby is a foreign concept to her. Janani doesn't know what gender the baby is, so she does the best she can to respond.
I have a feeling the child will think you grande. You are a kind and gentle woman.
