Fira watched as Zetsuei walked out of the throne room before she entered it and walked over to Maki’s body. She stared at Maki’s face for a few moments before she sat herself down on the floor, next to the throne that the body was laying on. There she began to search her pockets for any type of bandage she could use on her wounds, even though she was more worried about the one in her side.
Finding nothing the phoenix sighed looking at the long sleeve of her robe. “I do like this kind a fabric, but it’s not going to be so useful to me if I let myself bleed to death…” She muttered and began to rip pieces from it before she tied the makeshift bandage around her waist over the wound, tight enough to help stop the bleeding. It was only temporary, until she could take off the robe and get a better look at the wound in the sanctity of a closed room. For now she leaned back against a wall of the room and closed her eyes for a moment.

The young girl forced a smile for the man she calls Shinja. As he patted her head, the connection made earlier was simply not there.
"Okay," she managed to muster as she tried to hold still and not fidget as much as they rode away from Avardia. Still afraid of what lies a head, she had only one other question. "Shinja? Who am I?"

As they rode Yuki was startled hearing the girl ask a question.
Silence gasped around Yukie's throat as she looked down at the girl slightly puzzled. How was she going to answer this question when she herself didn't know who Shinja was.
Smiling slightly she spoke in a quiet calm voice.
"I am Yuki-Kyai."
She paused after she said this, trying to find the right words to answer the other question when the voice of Andreas errupted in her ear.
She pulled the horse to a stop as she looked at him as he touched the girls head.
Shaking her head in defeat she nudged the horse to start moving again when she felt Andreas also mount the horse.
Turning her head she glared at him before grabbing grabbing a scroll out of her robes andhitting him with it.
"You never even considered that a horse can only a certain weight before it too would lag!"
Her words snaked out to him like liquid poison before she turned back to the road and spoke in a more cheerful voice.
"Now where to?"
It was an open question, to both the girl and to Andreas.

"Please. Tell me ... who am I? I need to know ..." she said wiping a tear from her eyes. "How long have we known each other?"
The young girl had to know ... her only memory was still fuzzy and the need to know was killing her inside.

andreas snarled at yuki, hitting him with a scroll like some before if she could she would show her mistake but such a thing could be easily brushed off he couldn't show the girl any sign of aggression and let her trust for him turn into more doubt. he would have to be careful and just hoped yuki would be wise enough to follow his lead. he smiled at yukis foolery turning to young maki.
"to Endairon my dear yuki"
he put a hand on her head to ruffling yukis hair making a real mess of it.
"my dear girl, don't cry"
andreas but her closer wrapping an arm around her to comfort her.
"i will go in more detail as we reach endairon, but your name is maki and we have known each other for quite some time. something happened to you where your memory was lost and you were lost to me, i tried with all my power to track you down and when i found you at the castle it was a great surprise to me. that place has broken out into their on war bringing fighters from every mercenary and outlaw band. i went there as a traveler to seek audience with the queen but what i found was chaos as you saw"
andreas turned away looking down with a sad puppy dog expression on his face
"it pains me to have had to let you see something like that when we have only just be reunited. i wish you could tell me how you came to be there, but your safe now and you do not need to worry, nothing else matters now your here with me. i promise i will protect you maki"

The young girl forced a smile, "Maki? That is my name? Thank you Shinja," she said and closed her eyes. She was exhausted and though things still felt strange she felt like she was in no immediate danger and fell asleep.

katrea was helping people back to there homes and making sure they had no fatal wounds. Every now and then he looked over at the tremendous fighting that was going on in the street but thought the safety of the people came first. After an hour or so the fighting suddenly stopped. katrea wished to know the victor of the fight resulting from the balcony, was it the menacing looking man in red or one of the other strangers. katrea headed to the castle looking back at the queen that was very busy with the knights around her and displaying the leadership in which she was loved for.
The red scarf could be seen flowing from the back of katrea, its two ends followed his movements around the winding streets. Then that man from before that knew him was crying out his name. katrea came to a sudden stop his sword and shield were already out and down but he didn't put them away ether.
"Yes stranger, I was heading back to see the woman you left in the throne room. I have some items for healing."
Katrea’s eye darted around the street, the body of fallen scattered everywhere.
"I heard your battle sir, it sounded mighty, but the people come first and i was still unsure of which side to aid, but I don't need to explain myself to you right now......
He paused and now his yellow eye slowly trailed over the man. He was a dark looking one at that and he held many answers to katrea’s questions.
"Tell me, how did my name become your knowledge?"

The queen was indeed busy with her duties, but not so much so to not see katrea heading to the castle, she spoke softly to herself.
"that man, he is odd, full of rage but yet full of such duty and strength. first he was there at the end of dark tail then he simply lost all his knowledge of victory, yet now he comes once again to aid my kingdom for no gain of his own, just like that woman kyana. i wonder are they.......
She stopped and shook her head. Her long blond almost white hair draped down her back to her waist line and the stray thoughts left her mind.
"Knights, tell me of the castle gates."
She called out to a commander and he turned with a salute as she walked delicately over to him. All round the storm of battle seemed over and now again, the castle must be pieced back together.

" I understand your caution to me due to my appearence, I would act the same way if I were in your place but I do mean you and the Queen no harm"
Zetsuei didnt move closer to Katrea, to avoid him taking it as a act of violence , many things came through is head that he wanted to share with Katrea but he had to take it slow.
" First to answer your question, you knew my father Greed. He fought along side you in the battle against the Kitsune Dark Tail, unfortunetly he died during that battle. That is how I know your name, from my fathers knowledge"
His eyes slowly moved to the ground as he sighed and took a deep breath and didnt know how to tell Katrea about Maki.
"The woman in the castles Throne room is Maki, a woman you previously traveled with. During the fight with Dark Tail he infected her body with the dark energy from the ORB which slowly grew within her body killing her. We ride her body of the darkness with help from the Bird-men at the Phoenix Temple, but her soul couldnt return to her body and was reincarnated in a young child which that man Andreas has now and is trying to brain wash her. That is why I am here, my father told me to seek you out if something would to happen to her. If you dont believe my words, help me find a woman named Joan, she fight for the queen and is a high ranking officer for her. She could clarify my allegiance "
He knew it would be a lot for Katrea to take in all at once, not quite sure how else he could have said it he just said it all at once. He just hoped Katrea would believe him.

katrea crossed his arms and still held his shield and sword in hand. he looked up to think to himself for a moment.
"ok, it sounds crazy, but from what I have heard so far of my past from kyana and the other knights your story matches up. But if this is to be true why was it maki died from this dark tail or Orb illness, I have not suffered from it."
katrea wanted to know more of this woman if she too knew him in the past it could tell him more.
"You know what, lets talk later, for know I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, but I’ll keep my eye on you. I will go and get Joan, you head back into the castle and take the fallen woman to the hall of hope where the white mages are. It is their training ground. There is not many but there should be at least one there that has not gone to help in the battle. I will go find Joan and inform the queen of all this."
With that said he pointed to a hall that was in the west wing of the inner castle, it had stain glass windows and resembled that of a chapel.
"That’s the hall there. I am off now"
katrea ran back through the streets and bit his lip saying to himself as he ran.
"If he betrays my trust I will not forgive that one."
katrea said this but hoped more of his past would come to reveal itself and maybe the reasons behind his memory loss of the past four years would show its self too. As the foot steps of his feet echoed katrea wondered where kyana was.

The queen helped bring order back to the streets, so did the knights. Joan along with Gearo helped the injured into the walls where they could be safe. Joan ran to Gearo and said before looking around.
"You can handle this now, I am off to find the queen, I had a funny feeling back there and I want to act on it."
"Ok, you go"
Gearo replied slotting his spear to his back holder. knights ran into the castle as he stood there with Joan.
"Make sure the queen is ok, but i am not worried. I saw the summons on the castle before along with kyana and I think so was Avalus, not to mention katrea was heading there. I’ll focus on building a new gate you go"
Joan nodded with a smile and placed her sword and shield on her back in a fast run into the city streets. Gearo turned and with a loud mighty voice said.
"come men, grab your shovels and axes, we have a gate to build hohoho"
the knight looked at one another and then at the gates that were larger then the castle walls with a sigh they said.
"yes sir"
"yes sir"
"yes sir"
"yes sir"
"hohoho, men, no job is done with out getting started"
Gearo walked to a group and smacked there back making them cringe even in armour. Gearo pulled them along with him towards the forest to gather logs.

katrea got to where he last saw the queen but she was gone now probably to busy to worry about the threat of the strangers in the castle and more about her peoples well being. katrea thought about it and she was not the type to place her belongings over the lives of her people. as he was about to run to the gate Joan was heading right for him.
She stopped and took a moment to breath, katrea placed his shield and sword on the holder at his waist and then swung his scarf around his neck where it had become loose.
"Joan, the queen is ok now, she’s helping the knights in the street. I need your help right now, so will you follow me to the hall of hope."

Joan stood upright and moved hair from her face before speaking back. katrea had answered the first question she was going to ask, but then asked her for something.
"Ok, as long as the queen is safe, what is it youwant from me may i ask?"
She followed katrea so they could start moving and talking at the same time.
