"Ich weigere mich, zu würdigen, dass mit einer Antwort!" she said, flicking him gently on the nose. "Eternity is a long time to live with yourself," she said quietly. "Do you ever get lonely? It'd seem hard to make friends and then watch them grow old without you... Sorry, that wasn't a very good thing to say. Forget I asked," she muttered.

Ever's eyebrow raised in curiosity as Ari ran off, back down the stairs. Left her schedule in the cafeteria? Yeah right. She probably just left to go see Musica again. She wasn't one to talk, but she wished that girls her age didn't care so much or focus so much on boys. Even with her thing with Ares, Ever still got up early and left him to get her breakfast and then meditate. Boys came and went. She never thought that a girl should put too much stock into them until they were older, and even then, keep a good perspective on what was really important in life.

Ever shrugged and turned around. She walked about 20 steps to the left where there was a big open spot by a large window. It was perfect for meditation.

Surprisingly, though, Aurora and Altan were already there, waiting for her. She already liked having more people to meditate with.

She smiled warmly at them and nodded. "Hey guys! Thanks for coming! Akira isn't here, yet, but she usually oversleeps, anyway. We can go ahead and start stretching."

She put her book bag down and started stretching on her tiptoes and reaching her hands clear up, as high as she could. She always thought it was best to stretch out the body well before sitting down in one position for meditation. It was good for the body. And yes, she was stretching in her school uniform. It was as good as any workout outfit, and she didn't sweat with stretching or meditating, so no need to change.

"So Sie won' t bereiten mir das Vergnügen? So betrübt mich Fräulein Ari." He said laughing, then returning to his calm demeanor. "It is a very long time, but I've never really made friends either. Sure I've had plenty of close 'friends'." He said putting extra emphasis on friends, trying to convey his meaning. "Never have they been around for more than a couple days, then I move on to the next. I've never grown close to people, being a Demigod as made me very unstable with emotions. I've never actually felt true love, even to my parents. Don't believe I've cried since being a babe either." He spoke softly, almost sounding olden and wise as he talked. He was thinking, most of these thoughts he'd never even actually considered before. Then he decided to lighten the mood a little. "I might tell you of my powers, if you can guess who my 'God' parent was and if they were my mother or father." As ended his last word they landed on the second floor, which he knew nothing about since this was his first time at the school.

“Traurig,” she replied. She pondered his game. “I could try,” she said, scrunching up her face in thought. ”Need to research, though. What origin is your God parent? Grecian, or other?” she asked. ”I don’t know who my Dad is. My mom never told me. I used to fantasize he was a superhero, or a God of some sort… to explain my powers y’know?” she said, kicking some dirt with her shoe. ”No such luck though,” she sighed, ”He hasn’t bothered to contact me, (that I know of), or shown in my life at all. Oh well, can’t miss what you never had, ja?”

Musica smiled as he led them to sit on a nearby couch. "I believe this spot is as good as any. Now, the origin you say? Well I believe I can spare so much information. My parent was one of the Norse Gods, not really the types of Demigods you hear about eh?" He frowned when she spoke of her father. He cupped her chin, tracing his thumb over her lips in an attempt to entice a smile. "Whatever that father may be, he is surely far from great to not want a daughter like you in his life. My thoughts may not matter to you on that subject, but there's my two cents on that."

“Norse? That’s unusual. It’s usually the Grecian ones you hear about, what with all the passionate affairs and such,” she said. For his efforts, she rewarded him a small smile. “I’ll research and see what I can guess,” she promised. She would have to take what little she knew about him and try to match it up with the Norse Gods. Her mind was already abuzz with possibilities, but she rejected one after the other. “… and thanks. I like to try to believe my mum never told my Dad he had a kid… from the sound of it, parting wasn’t an amicable affair.”

Aurora nodded at Evermore. "Good morning," she greeted quietly. Following her example, she sat down and began to stretch. She was quite limber, but it was only due to that she was a shapeshifter. As such, she did have a very large amount of influence over her body's appearance and such without any depletion to her energy. Of course, if she were full shapeshifter, it would be that she would have full influence, but she wasn't because her mom wasn't.

Altan just yawned at them and curled up on himself, seeming to taste the air before closing his eyes and seeming to go back to sleep. Aurora giggled slightly at him. He was so silly. "Akira is the girl who was with you yesterday during the Familiars class, right?" She wasn't sure, but she believed so. They were also both in the class she had with Professor Rose... right?

Then, glancing at Evermore again, she said, "You hair is nice today." Vaguely, she also wondered if the girl was part shapeshifter or if she'd used a glamour charm. To be honest, she did not know what it was that was magical in Evermore's blood--simple magic, or a magical creature?

Ares woke up to an empty bed, but he wasn't as disappointed as he would have expected. He knew where he was: Bai Ching, a school. Evermore's school. That was why she wasn't there to greet him that morning. Just as well, though, because for all the blessings Gods had, they still got morning breath. He stretched lazily, and gazed about her room from her bed. A nice room. Understandably, he had not paid much attention to it the night before. He'd been much more preoccupied with Evermore herself than the place in which she resided.

Pushing himself off the bed, he strolled over to where his vest was and scooped it up. He put it on and checked himself over in the mirror--yeah, he looked good.

Then he paused.

He could feel someone else's aura--a god's, and not Evermore's, nor Ophiuchus'. Turning to look at Evermore's door, he stared at it. Why would she be here? What business did she have at this school? How had he not noticed her presence until just now? Did Evermore truly take his attention so fully that his sharpness would wane?

Aphrodite, he thought. The name left a bittersweet taste whenever he spoke it. This would not be good; Aphrodite could drastically change things with love, and not necessarily for the better. She had loved him, he knew, and that is exactly why he'd left her--however horrible it sounded. He had been much younger then, and afraid of love, of its implications. He had sought her out because she was the Goddess of Love, hoping that dealing with it and its complications would inspire her to never want it for herself.

How wrong he had been.

So he'd left. It was cruel, it was rude, it was insensitive, but he'd done it. He, at least, could say that he'd never told her he loved her. He'd never tried to give her any indication that he did, though he may have. He'd wanted a relationship, but not a commitment. Just the sex. That was it. He had cowered, the mighty God of War had cowered at the thought of loving. He had been fresh, still, from a love that had died, and the wound ached. He cowered from it.

((Hope this works! Lemme know if it doesn't biggrin ))

He nodded his agreement, almost forgetting that she couldn't see him. "Aye, I don't believe very many have ever guessed, although I really don't recall offering free guesses often. I suppose your just that one of a kind Miss Ari." He laughed and poked her in the side. At her heighth she was perfect to lay into the crook of his neck. He fantasized about her doing so, allowing him to even kiss her. Musica had had feelings like these before, so they didn't surprise him. What he didn't know was just how fond of her he was. "Break ups are never pretty, though I can never say I suffered during one. The lack of emotional ties to anyone you know."

(It's all good!)

Aphrodite was on her way down the second floor when she felt him, stronger than ever. He was close. Her hands convulsed upon the student records she had upon her clipboard. She was getting back from checking on the wolf-girl. She was still sleeping soundly, and Aphrodite had made her excuses.

Still, Ares was near, and she felt that he knew. She wondered if he had the courage to face her, or if he'd run like he did the last time. Knowing he'd hear her, she tapped the toe of her heeled shoe on the floor. "Ares. Get your a** out of that room. No boys in the girls' dorms," she snapped, her sweetness gone. She had intentionally called him a 'boy', knowing it would serve to piss him off. "You have fifteen seconds to get into this hall, or I'm coming after you."

“It sucks. Breaking up, I mean," she said. "Emotions can be a b***h, but they're worth it. You should try getting attached to someone sometime. It'll be good for you. To much time with only yourself causes madness. Next thing you know, you'll be hosting debates... against yourself," she said, laughing when he poked her in the side. She could sense something bothering him, and she wanted to know what it was. "Something bothering you?" she asked casually.

Ever's eyes had widened when Aurora began stretching so easily and was so very flexible. Did she work out normally? Or was her flexibility part of her powers?

Altan drew her out of her thoughts, though. She joined Aurora in chucking at him curling up and sleeping. At least, she assumed he was sleeping. She didn't know much about Sphinx. She didn't know if they needed meditation or sleep. He just looked so cute and sarcastic by curling up and sleeping, or appearing to, right then. So cute!

"He's so cute... And an awesome individual to converse with, I bet. I only had that brief chance to last night."

She sat down then and got into the lotus position. She knew that a person did not need to sit in that position to meditate, but she liked to.

She nodded to Aurora's question. "Yep, that's Akira. We're usually seen hanging out together. If you don't mind me asking, how is it that I'm a sophomore and I've never seen you before? You can't be a freshman because you have most of the same classes I do, unless you're in advanced classes for a freshman, which happens quite frequently here."

And then she remembered that Aurora had complimented her hair. She smiled brightly and proudly. "You noticed?! Thank you so much!! It's one of my new powers that I'm trying out! I can't believe that it's stayed this way!"

Musica laughed, and sitting side to side next to Miss Ari she could very easily feel the viberations from his barrel chest. "It is too late love, for I am already quite mad. I've probably talked to myself more than anyone else combined. But it's how the Gods designed it, or atleast mine anyway." His arm was behind her shoulders, and from time to time he had to keep himself from laying his wandering hand on her shoulder. With his sensitive senses he could easily smell the fragrance from her hair since it was below his nose. Musica inhaled deeply, reveling in the scent. "If I told you what was on my mind this moment, would you promise to not be mad?" He asked curiously, knowing most girls and even some guys would shy away from those thoughts even though they sat so close and would flirt back and forth. He thought about his unusual fondness for this human, wondering what it'd come to.

”Mad at you?” she asked, smiling. ”You haven’t even annoyed me yet… so I guess I can promise. I won’t be mad,” she vowed, making an ‘X’ pattern over her heart. ”… and are you smelling me? You are bizarre!”

Musica twirled a piece of his hair with the hand that wasn't behind Ari. He smiled, but for the most part didn't respond to what she said about him smelling her. "I won't tell you the entirety of my thoughts, for most of them would be considered in most parts of the world. No I'll just tell you the nice thoughts. I have been keeping myself from pulling you close to me and kissing you full force. As for the rest of my thoughts I'll keep them to my bizarre mind, to see what you think of a little of my mind."
