iKillCaustic--uKillMe Learning is something that should never be confined to children but everyone. Learning things throughout one's life and always remaining curious is something everyone should do. It's good brain exercise. 3nodding Oh I know what you mean. I know quite a few people though that dislike the school atmosphere and just hate the learning and stuff in school, saying that they don't need it. //shrugs. I suppose you don't have to learn within a school setting, but its usually what you need in order to get good jobs in life. To each their own. //she bounces about. Time to for me to read now. :'3

Phew. So now I'm getting personal attacks on who I could be in RL, because of my insistence that these girls who are using wicca as a title for themselves and their practice is considered inappropriate use of the word. Oh, and since I'm saying they can't use the word wicca(n) as their title and practice name and etc, I am personally attacking them and their religion. emo
I didn't intend so, just to inform them that among larger pagan communities, using the word wicca so freely and outside of traditional wiccan covens ( linked quite a few threads and websites stating these wiccan covens ) is misinformed and misusing.
Am I right here?

Am I right here? It's hard to inform some people without them getting butthurt. Some people take the information as it's intended, without taking it personally. Some people take it as a personal attack because they've chosen something as their personal identity and can't untangle themselves from it in a logical or reasonable manner. Some people will be so attached to a word or idea that they'll deliberately ignore fact or reality in favour of their preference - that's what we call 'willful ignorance'. You'll run into a lot of it. It's unfortunate. But it is part and parcel of the huge entitlement complex North Americans have regarding cultures and practices.

Me and a couple of others have come to an understanding! Finally. Haha. Especially after that particular girl personally and continued to personally attack me as a person, rather than staying on topic. So me and another more understanding girl/lady have come to a truce, and she also agreed that this other person lashing out lyke that was not what everyone else intended to do to me. Which no else did, but almost came close! I'm happy I kind of made a friend through that all, surprisingly. ♥ I like this girl~ //suddenly infatuated with her kindness and understanding. redface I'm weird. Its rare for me to run into heated arguments or debates on certain topics~ I think the only person I've ever met or known to have such heated arguments was my sister. LOL. We dont get long, and when we do it'll only be for a week and then back to fighting over our different views. dramallama We have to live in separate towns/cities to be able to get along! Anyways, feeling so much better about the whole situation and conversation in the last couple of days. //smiles.

Yep, that's pretty much par for the course. Sometimes you run into people who are really interested in what you're saying, and curious and kind and thoughtful even if they continue to disagree, and you just want to pick them up and snuggle them, especially if you've been trying to be as kind and so on as you can and you get personally attacked for it.
The weirdest thing is when they call you a Christian! It's like, what?? xd

I can honestly say I've never been accused of being a Christian before. A fascist, an a*****e...petty, narrow-minded, cruel, vile, and intolerant...but never Christian.

I've gotten close to being called a Christian. I was called a monotheist for saying... Oh crap... I forget who it was. But that he was a forest spirit and not a god.

I just made coffee cake for the first time! It smells so goood~ //drools. Can't wait to dig in. Oh, its got green apple in it too! heart
I was never a cook or baker till this past year or less. :'3 Its a new thing in my life and I really enjoy it! I wasn't a terrible cook before, or couldn't cook at all, just didn't want to unless I really had too. Lol. I had a lot of negative put-downs about this in the past for a long time. . . it hurt, but now that I haven't heard any sort of bad talk about me not cooking or not being able to make my own bread or whatever~ I've really taken a liking to it.
Probably due to the fact that I'm no longer in school and needed something to do with my time other than chasing two small boys around and being lazy at home. pirate

Ooh that sounds delicious!
I've been living on microwave meals for the last week, and I'll be doing so until the end of January because I'm away from home doing vacation work and the place I'm staying has no kitchen and I can't afford to eat out every night.

X-Yami-no-Ko-X Haha so how much of a butt would you say I am for tricking Zane into using a sigil to help him talk to Hygeia? give them a few days to figure out. as for what I think on the matter, that does seem rather rude given the information I know on communicating to the Hellenic gods, but I've only read a little into the religion and more into the mythology, so I only know of one way to communicate to them.
