Anja jolted awake, feeling slightly dizzy. She was entangled in her wings, and felt like a tamala.
"Another downside to having these things..." she muttered, thrasing about. Finally struggling free, she saw with emense relief that Lloyd was awake. "Don't worry me like that again..."

Anja nodded and sighed.
"Yeah, luck was on our side this time... just don't worry me like that, kay?" She looked down at her arms and noticed a few more feathers were growing. "..."

"I know..." It was only one row on her wrists and arms anyway. She did a quick self-check to see if anything else had changed. No, no, no... the tips of her nails were black, but that seemed to be it. Anja then looked and saw that not even Blitz was awake yet. "Wow..." she muttered, "That's unusual..."

"Well it is pretty early, i guess we don't have to worry about falling asleep though" He sighed and looked at her. She may have been a human and quarter elf this time, but this was probably the first time she was becoming a gryphon slowly, but he didn't care since he was already a beast himself now

Anja stood up slowly. She then noticed her toenails were tipped in black as well.
"Blitz gets up at the crack of dawn, though..." She looked outside the mouth of the cave and saw a pinkish hue to the eastern sky. "Why did I wake up this early?" she muttered. Sighing, she sat back down.

"Well maybe you were just too energetic to sleep" He sighed and sat next to her "I wonder if there is a place that might help us out, some archives have information about our kinds?"

Anja shook her head.
"I only know of the stories my father used to tell me, and... they weren't very pretty..." She laughed quietly, "They were kind of one sided... but the eldars of the village... they might know something."

"Oh. I wasn't talking about the gryphon eldars... I was talking about the eldars of the village I grew up in. They're elves, humans, and mixed bloods and they monitor the dragoons and gryphons. How do you think I became a protector of dragons?" She closed her eyes for a moment trying to see the expression on thier faces if she and Lloyd were to arrive with... however many dragons.
