What do you mean? sixth sense had a most predictable ending, and ESB did the same thing most soap operas do with the relation tie twist.

The Avatar and The Guardian are characters from Ultima. The Guardian is The Avatar's polar opposite. Where The Avatar stands for all things good, The Guardian is all evil. The twist is, they are linked. If one harms the other, they both feel it. So it results in a crazy battle where they don't actually fight each other, because of that connection they share.
