She arched an eyebrow over at him as if assessing just what might be scary about him. "Alright, now you have me curious. And I of course, have to ask, what do people find scary about you?"
She of course, had to ask, being ever curious. "And what's so not welcoming about your house? Sorry if I seem to pry too much, just making conversation and I must say, I'm very curious now that you mention it." She sat back in her seat, again clasping her hands on the table.

Drake paused for a moment then smiled. "My home is made out of stone, the sun does not shine and the land around it is compleatly dead. Nothing seemd to be alive around my house. There are also the statues... they seem to be creatures, and they enjoy watching people." He chuckled slightly. "As for me... Well, what kind of person lives in a house like that? Especially alone?"

His presence was proceeded by only the scuffing of his boots as he walked through the still destroyed bar. Without a word he passed by them both, hate was hidden behind his shades.

"Gargoyles, I see. Not too bad. So basically, your house would be akin to say, the fictional haunted house? Actually, sounds interesting." She smiled lightly, wondering if he was trying to scare her for some reason. But it was just a pleasant conversation in her eyes.
"I've been to alot of cities actually that have been cursed by perputual darkness, so it would probably be right up my alley. So, do you have any hobbies? Just trying to learn abit about my neighbors."
She turned towards the door when someone came in, taking notice of the flared aura. Her eyes averted for a moment. This one didn't seem to be in the mood for conversation.

"I enjoy them, it is not like they have ener actually harmed one of my visitors." Drake smiled at her, then looked at Zero and chuckled. "My hobbies? Hmm..." He thoguth for a moment. "I enjoy carving things. What about you? And you seem to travel... what kind of places have you been to?"

She kept watch out of the corner of her eyes on the man who seemed upset about something, not sure what to make of it all, until she heard Drake mention carving things. Her first thought, surprisingly enough was that he meant people, rolling her eyes beneath her shades, she figured she was being overly paranoid as usual.
"I have been to alot of places. Mainly towns that have needed alot of assistance. Infested towns. Corrupt towns. Hard to explain I guess. I've been to about twenty different towns since I was six. You?"

"I have been to... far too many places that no longer exist." Drake seemed to become a little bit distant. "It makes me feel old..." He smiled slightly, but his eyes became rather sad.

"It is sad the way places fade, almost as fast as some of the people we meet within our lifetimes. But you need to focus more so on what is still here. I used to look back constantly and all it really does is hurt when you dwell on things that make you sad."
"Besides, you can't be that old." She smiled, knowing she had a feeling about this one, but wanted him to say for sure.

Drake laughed slightly. "I may look like I am in my twenties... but I am quite older." He smiled and looked at the ceiling.

"Alright then, time to come clean..What race are you? Vampire, dragon, something different?" She propped her head up again, tapping her free hand quietly on the table in front of her.
"I hate having to play twenty questions." She smiled in return, watching him for any telling signs.

"Oh, I'm human as they come. I've just..been around people. Alot of people. So I guess you could I've seen it all mostly. Hmm..something else? maybe just a wizard then? Not going to tell me, are you?
She had a slightly amused look in her eyes, but she didn't like the fact she couldn't have guessed so far.

"A wizard?" Drake laughed somewhat. "No I'm not going to tell you, but I will give you a hint. It is rather unique."

"That doesn't help me one bit, you know that, Drake? And if there's one thing that drives me positively batty, it's a mystery I can't solve." She was glad to hear him laughing at least. Meant she was entertaining to a certain extent.
"No broader hint? This doesn't seem fair, you know?"

Drake smiled and laughed for a couple of moments. "What fun is a mystery that you can solve too simply? But I will give you another hint, I can not live without something that another being has, much like a vampire."
