You can do this Zahara. Just don't look at him, keep your eyes averted and all will be perfectly well, you don't want him, you don't desire him, you don't' want to rip off that chain mail and press your palms to- stop it! Shoving her fingers brutally through her hair she looked at him stupidly for a moment then quickly averted her eyes and glanced back at that circle. "Levitation.." Focus Zahara, you really need to focus. She closed her eyes briefly and recalled the rune that she had used quite a few times. She plopped a book down on the circle and as quickly as she could, scribed the levitation rune not even sure if she had it right. Tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear and then just to do something with her hands so she didn't touch him, she fiddled with her skirt and then pulled out the clip in her hair, redoing that as well.

He watched a moment as nothing happened to said book and he crossed his arms a moment as he walked up to the table and leaned over some, inspecting the rune for a moment. "You've got to work on your little...swoosh...marks..." That damnable little strokes. But he stepped back and merelu ran a hand back through his hair, "Try it again and then we'll move on."
Dare he say he thought she looked a bit...flustered. And it frightened him that he may be the cause of that. He swallowed that fear that was again trying to crawl up his throat as he took a breath. Malik was right and he knew it, he was afraid of Zahara and at the same time wasn't and his mind was working against him. Damnale circumstances.
Though amid his own thoughts he had taken to a bit of pacing back and forth in short distance. Why did things have to be panning out like they were? Things couldn't get simple and he couldn't have a break.

That poor girl and probably said thank you in three hundred different ways before racing downstairs to the laundry to hand over the tunic, while she went back upstiars with gratefull smiles and nods and started wiping up the floor, promising his tunic woudl be just perfect when it came back. of course the laundry servants alerted Malik, who alerted Piper.
"His tunic is in teh thrid laundry room, read for your working hands, Chev'..unless you'd prefer to just sit there and stare."
A chuckle, rolling his shoudlers a bit, before in quick fashion dispatching his workout opponents with graceful ease to the ground.

Frankly she had gotten lost in her own little bout of fantasies in her head barely registering his words, perhaps on Chev getting through and breakng her half zoned out state. "Hm A'mael?" Yeah it was taking a moment for her to process and when she did, she shook her head lightly and snapped her thoughts someplace other than Malik and what she knew he had to offer. "Oh, right..." Had to ruin her fun didn't he? "You owe me big time for this..." Not to mention for earlier. Needless to say she could probably use the time away from him to cool down and stop acting the way seh was, though he was probably enjoying every moment of it. "Try not to overdo yourself." Thus she up and left and made her way to go pick up Jackass's shirt and some thread as well, though she took it all to the spas, ditching her clothes and sinking into the water easily. Yeah...nice soak to get Malik out of her mind and just relax. Though in process of that she also took to work on Sevilin's tunic, easily recalling that runic circle and what she needed, as well as the bypass she would need to make it hit Sevilin without him being able to counter her. Seems those ten years of study mother made her suffer weren't for nothing at all.

That stupid little swoosh that was almost impossible to do, but most of the high level runes had one and she had to learn at some point. But she hadn't been able to do this little technique since day one, it was just too difficult. The hardest part was doing it quickly because if you didn't it would invariably get messed up, but doing it too quickly yielded disastrous results as well. It just wasn't working for her. She stared at that circle for a little while then erased the 'swoosh' part of the rune and glanced at him briefly before trying once again to do it. Nothing. Dammit. Erase and try again. Still nothing. Dammit. Erase and try one more time, frustration welling and the accompanied anger hell on her already sensitive emotions. "Dammit, dammit, ******** swoosh.." she muttered.

Sevilin couldn't help but chuckle, it was always that particular little flick of the wrist generated symbol component that seemed to either come naturally or not. He remembered his own frustrations with it, though he did a little more violet acting out as opposed to just cursing the stupid thing. Eventuslly though he grabbed her wrist and pulled it away from the table to end her swoosh mark making frustrations.
"Let it go and come back to it later. you can't get everything right in the first month or so. So you need swoosh work, so did I. Stupid little thing can be quite frustrating." Stop it Sevilin you're finding common ground with her and even comforting her...dare he say was soothing her of her frustrations. And he had been doing it with a hint of a smile. Where upon noticing he was smiling he tried to turn his face back to that mask of bored emotion.
The book was removed from the circle and two sheets of paper then placed in it. "Translocation." Yes. He was continuing on, just like that. Half of it was to get this going again the other half wanted to watch her rune...watch her fingers dance across the table in purposeful strokes and in all literal sense, command the world with her fingertips. Fingertips that he was wondering what would feel like dancing across his person rather than the table....bad Sevilin, you're letting yourself do it again.
Thus so he was intently watching her, eyes glues to the whole of her body rather, letting his mind wander a little, but only until fear beat it back to rational thinking. No. He couldn't let himself be nothing but a tool again, nothing but a pet and one who blindly and obediantly followed the master's word and heeded her call.

Her head snapped up at his chuckle and she glared at him though that was changed to a sheepish grin at her frustration with the swoosh. "It's just annoying that a little mark like that can be so difficult to do." She glanced down at her wrist where his fingers were encircling it, bringing into perspective the differences in their sizes. And then he moved on. Translocation, this one required two runes and would cause her to stretch across the table to complete them. She recalled both symbols fairly easily since she had been studying, really she had. Fingertips placed to the table, though a moment of shakiness when she felt his eyes boring into her back. She glanced back at him, and marveled once again at the different facets his eyes took on when he was angry or very intense in his study. Her knees grew weak again and she felt her legs turn into jelly when she realized that she was the object of that intense gaze. What was he thinking? No emotion could be found on his face so she had no clue what manner of thoughts were going on in his mind. She stayed like that for a moment, licked her lips nervously and turned around concentrating on the runes. The first rune was quickly scribed onto the paper and then she moved down to the other end of the table, thinking for a moment before scribing the second. There, easy enough. They'd worked on this one only a few days ago, if her memory served her correctly. Of course it did, elves didn't forget, it wasn't allowed.

a bit more of a workout, switching weapons to the spear, polearm, and the battleaxe to make sure those skills didn't get too rusty..before he went to the spas as well, getting undressed and relaxing in the heated water. felt good to relax after a nice workout, resting his head on teh siding and just letting the rest of him soak and the muscles relax some.

Jarlaxle looked at the mess before him, and found himself laughing with a strange delight. It was nice to see his favorite student acting in such a 'drow' like state. The creatures were completely overwhelmed by the lone warrior. Completely and utterly overwhelmed.
"None shall pass, eh?"

There was something alluring about that smil. Maybe because it wasn't wicked or spoke of things unhealthy to about anyone, in fact it looked quite...unsure, vulnerable in a way. And that in itseslf seemed to want to draw him closer and get a look. But he just cleared his throat as she went about runing.
He nodded his head again as any teacher would to thier student when they showed not only success, but promise as well. He knew she was good at magics, even with her over boasting and over show of them, Sevilin could conclde she knew them well. Part of being a skilled rune mage was being a good base mage...it all connected in a back road way [nd was always a help. Sevilin was good with his own magics, but played dumb to the crowd.
"Alright, go through your elemental runes, the imbunement version." Tough it up a little. He clasped his hands behind his back and lifted his arms out and up, stretching out his arms, shoulders, and back a moment.
She was still working on that stitching, even as her bond told her that Malik was close by she hadn't looked up, was just concentrating on what she was doing, frowning from time to time when the needle point caught her finger. Sitting in hot water sewing, yeah that was a look now wasn't it? Ususally she wouldn't jab her fingers to hell, she was good at this kind of thing, but it was the fact that she was working on so small a scale. Pissed her right damn off.

"How are you progressing, Chev'?"
okay so he knew to probably not ask that question, but he coudln't help it never the less. it was a topic to talk about while she was there anyway. Not to mention, worst she might do at that topic was toss the needle at him.
the image however after taking a moment to really look at it, made him chuckle, with the possible thought of her sitting there pregnant and knitting baby clothes while immersed in hot water. a humorous image, really.

"I don't know how I get myself talked into these kinds of things, I really don't at all." She shook her head lightly and frowned again as that needle once again got the better of her skin. It was bad enough her wrists were a bit sore and starting to nicely show Sevilin's little job of marking her up. Kind of looked like she had been wearing manicles for a while. Though seemed she paid no mind, but she did look up to Malik at his chuckling, blinking at him. "And what is so funny A'mael? You want to try and do this, I can guarentee you would be just as frustrated if not more so."

"Just picturing you sitting like you are now, but pregnant and insted of sewing little things, knitting baby clothes. and you get talked into things like this because you know you want her to get over this little..situation and the more Sevilin is the target, the better. and not to mention my charms."
A smile over to her.

Her anger smoothed out to merely a look of intrigue. "The things your head comes up with. I take it that's a good image in your head?" Frankly, that little subject of children had become a slightly sore subject for her, seeing as the frustrations, time, and luck that it even took to get a surface elf pregnant in the first place. In retrospect look at thier relationship and the time that they had been together...chances were slim enough weren't they? "Though I never learned to knit." Her attention dropped back down to her little stitchings and she allowed herself a soft chuckle. "I merely want her to understand what I try to tell her about us and not just assume things can't happen the way we do." Though she angled a look at him for another moment. "Your charms? The ones you used earlier to frustate me to no end and thus seek retaliation against you?" She was still thinking of a scheme. "Careful, that ego of yours may pop if you let it get too big."

She nodded a moment later, she'd been expecting those next considering they were some of the last ones that she was supposed to know. They weren't difficult, one merely had realize the different properties and how each would affect the surface one was trying to rune as well as the final and completed product. She straightened her shoulders, and curled her fingers a few times in preparation, then rolled her neck, it got rather stiff from leaning over all the time. "Does it matter the order?" Probably not, which is why she didn't wait for an answer, simply got to work. Fire was first, so the symbol was scribed and a small flame flickered to life on the circle, she manipulated it slightly and it grew reminding her of the flame that also tended to grow within her. Water was next. A swipe to erase, the next rune scribed and a small shower, concentrated in only the spot of the circle fell, a puddle slowly growing on the table itself. Earth, sucked up the water and then a gentle breeze filled the air, fluttering the papers and causing Sev's braid to sway rather attractively. She used the thickness of her line to alternate between a heavier concentration of power and a softer, much like he'd taught her to do a gentle breeze instead of a gale force wind. "Would you like light and dark, shadow, and those done as well?" she asked glancing back at him the gentle breeze she'd scribed still ruffling her hair.
