Caius The light certain caught Caius's attention, bringing it to the green-haired young woman who so boldly stood against him, The absurd power of Ivaldi was not something to be taken lightly--but neither was Caius. Had he taken a direct hit of the magical monster-slaying magic, it would certainly cause severe damage, just as a direct attack from Siegmund would--but as the light magic swept across the area, a barely visible shimmering barrier would erect around Caius's form just as the attack was close to hitting him. His armor was nearly impenetrable against physical attacks, and it seemed he was prepared for magical attacks as well. "That did sting." Even his own barrier couldn't block all of Ivaldi's holy power, but not enough got through to deal significant damage. "But you're a fool if you think I would leave myself vulnerable to magic." He raised his off-hand, a black ball of killing demonic energy spawning over his palm. "How vulnerable are you?" With little more warning than that, the ball would speed towards her, and had it struck, it would be far from pleasant.Luckily L'Arachel had a very, very reckless husband who managed to tackle her to the ground and out of the path literal milliseconds before the ball would strike, only narrowly avoiding it himself as well. It probably wouldn't be a pleasant tackle, needless to say, but it hurt far less than that orb would have. "I'll apologize later!" He wasted no time in grabbing her brusquely, lifting her and hurrying out of the room with her in his arms, narrowly dodging another blade beam of the same energy shot towards him from Caius."Coward." Caius remarked in mild annoyance.Pushing L'Arachel against the wall as Ephraim also hugged next to her, he took a deep breath. "If even Ivaldi can't get through his defenses, we'll need to be smart. We can't just overpower him." L'Arachel wasn't one to think things through exactly, which is exactly why Ephraim pushed her against the wall and intended to keep her there until she agreed. Especially against a demon, he needed to try to keep her from being her usual reckless self. "I have a plan. But I'll need... do you know where Hiyori and Yuffie are?" ...Ironic, the only two who weren't here."They're not here." Javik neared the two, crouching against the wall nearby as well. "If you need someone to tinker, I can do it. I'm not as good as my sister, but I've picked up a few things over the years." Ironic considering how young she was, but she was something of a prodigy."...Damn." Of course they weren't here. "I'll have to rely on you, then. And... if Yuffie isn't here..." He peaked out of one of the holes into the room where Caius was. "I need Alisa." Not exactly his first choice for this, mainly since she was so terrified of Caius, but he'd just have to hope she could power through her fear. "Cloud, I need you for this too.""...Ugh," Cloud grunted as he forced himself up through some rubble he had been partly buried under. "It better be a good plan..." He was still really hurting after that attack of demonic energy. He was amazed he was still conscious. It... hurt like hell.Caius considered giving chase to Ephraim and L'Arachel, but what was the point? He could just kill them later. They clearly weren't any threat to him, right? So he turned his attention back to Alisa. "I wonder if Althesa would even weep for your death. At least you'll see your fool father." All of the other demons in the house had been vaporized completely by Ivaldi, as it seemed Caius was rather selfish about his barrier, but he didn't seem to mind. It was pretty obvious he alone was far more threatening than millions of his demons. Before he could finish Alisa, yet another interruption--one he turned to face right as his barrier erected itself again. Raising his blade, he swiped it powerfully, actually deflecting Unisha's prismatic beam of holy energy straight up and into the sky. With his barrier and his sword working in tandem, even such a powerful attack seemed stoppable. "Found you.""UNI!"Caius wasted no time, charging at alarming speed straight towards where the beam came from, literally plowing through walls as if they weren't even there, his blade raised. And once he came upon the unicorn, he continued to waste no time with idle banter--he brought the blade, coated in demonic energy, straight down with full killing intent."Yuuugh!" Meeting his father with the same energy coated on his own blades, Jake barely managed to parry the blow that was meant to kill Unisha, knocking Caius back slightly. "Get out of here!!" He shouted to Unisha. "Rragh!" Swinging one of his blades, he grunted as the blade was knocked out of his hands by Caius's empty hand smacking it straight out, then Caius plunged his demonic blade into his son's stomach, turning and hurling him back and off the blade, and Jake went flying through several walls. Caius had no respect for this building's structural integrity, did he?"...Rrrghh..." He had been so close to being killed like nothing--Kaden wanted nothing more than to protect Azura. But he had to be saved as well. Why was he so weak? So... "...Rrghh...!" He slammed his fist down on the ground, as his eyes began to glow. "RRRRghhhHH....!!" Had Azura been still by his side, she might be the only one who knew what was happening to him. Fur began to grow from his skin, and his glowing eyes began to turn red. "....!!!!!!""...I... I have to...!" Alisa forced herself to stand. "Uni...!""Alisa! Get over here, NOW!""Wha- but... Unisha! I have to-""Have to go die in her place? I have an idea how to stop him, but we have to act NOW! I need you here!""...! Uni, stay safe!" She trusted Ephraim too much not to heed his words, and sprinted towards where he was hidden."Now that that irritating child is out of my way..." Caius turned to face Unisha. "No one is coming for you. Not your friend, not your dear father, and certainly not your dead mother. But I'll send you to see her now. You don't have to be alone anymo-" And suddenly, Caius was sent literally flying across the room, slamming into one of the room's walls. "Gah! ...Who dares?!"And standing there now was a rather large, terrifying, very angry werewolf. "RRgghh... Azura..." The werewolf shook in visible rage. "Must protect...!" Raising his head, he let out a thunderous howl."...Prince Kaden." Caius shook his head. "What a waste of TIME!" He charged forward, slashing straight through Kaden's midsection. The werewolf didn't even budge--though the slash did cut straight through, it was as though the pain didn't register to him in this frenzied state. Rearing his arm back, he delivered a harsh punch to Caius's armored skull, then another, and another, and he had enough strength to actually stagger Caius with these punches. He inadvertently was buying Ephraim time to execute his plan, it seemed. But how long would this push last? (( OOC: ))

"You think yourself strong? What a joke! You are nothing but a terrified unholy creature who's existence will soon be put in the dirt! Hiding behind your barrier only makes you the weakest link here. And after I get done with you, there won't BE a barrier to protect your sorry hide! " She could no longer stay so silent, at first, she wanted to catch him off guard so her magic would have much higher chances of hitting her target, unfortunately, her plan didn't work quite so well..Still, that didn't stop her from staying true to her threats as she began to channel magic from the tome again. She would hit him as many times as she could until that cursed barrier fell...... Then came his next move, who would get struck first? L'Arachel didn't stop her channeling, despite his gathering of demonic energy that would soon speed it's way to her. Only to have it fly past and slam into yet another poor wall as she was suddenly tackled to the ground by her extremely reckless husband. She would not be happy if he had gotten himself injured in her place, but that was a discussion for another time! L'Arachel could barely get a word out before she was so quickly taken into her husband's arms, and distanced from the current danger. "!! " Had the situation not been so dire, she might of had silly thoughts come to her mind as she was pushed against the wall, but even she could figure out he was trying to keep her safe. "It was one try! I can get through his barrier if I can hit him more! " She didn't exactly agree to this, though. When did she lose against demons? It rather angered her that the first one failed so badly, only increasing her need to bring Caius to an end. "...If your plan doesn't work..then let me try again, and this time without putting yourself in danger! " Okay, so she kind of had to scold him a little bit! She loved him too, and clearly didn't want anything happening to him just in an attempt to protect her! "STOP trying to protect me!!!" Unisha suddenly yelled out, it wasn't just for Jake, who was in a horrible position from trying to protect her, but also everyone else. "I will not let you all suffer just to protect me. I can handle myself! ...I can handle him..! " Was that the truth? In her mind it was, but with how terribly easy he deflected her most powerful attack made everything very questionable right now. Still, she wasn't going to give up. Not ever. "That's good, do you really think I want anyone here right now? I won't die, you will never touch me, demon. I will protect my father from you no matter what I have to do. No matter the risks.! " And in the next moment, Caius got to feel what It was like to be the one slammed into a wall, as a...wherewolf now stood there? ...She may of been left out of some precious information about Kaden's abilities. But it wasn't enough to keep him down, and again, another person was terribly injured by the madman with the blade."No..! " Thick, thorn covered vines burst through the floors around Caius, each quickly wrapping around his entire body and squeezing him dangerously tight, and with all that armor, it had to be quite painful the more they squeezed him. With Unisha's vines attempting to hold him in place while Kaden continued to punch him, a watery bubble phased right through him, leaving his entire body covered by water. His armor was hardly waterproof, there had to be gaps, and that helmet could prove to be his own death trap as it too began to fill with water....If she could drown him like this, she would try it. Anything was worth trying as everyone struggled against him, and as it stood, nothing looked good right now. She couldn't even heal Kaden being one of the very few who did not posses healing abilities. Azura may not have the ability to heal, but the golden light that suddenly rained down over the struggling group would quickly heal their injuries as Hana rushed to the scene..

Caius "How cute. A human who's unafraid." It was plain to see, unlike Alisa, L'Arachel was literally not even a little intimidated. That would be something he'd have to get used to--nothing seemed to scare her. "You will learn to respect my power, though. Assuming you live that long." She didn't have much more time to trash talk him before Ephraim wisely forced her to retreat. He considered them wholly unintimidating though, so his attention would be focused on the foes that actually mattered to him."And you expect him to just stand there while you keep attacking?!" L'Arachel's bravado was typically something she could back up with her powerful light magic, but in a situation against a nearly indestructible foe who also moved quickly and had immense power. It was far too risky to allow her to just keep attacking. Even if she did get through the barrier and hurt him enough to cause him to panic, he would start to take her very seriously, and that was when things would go very south. "No! I'm not letting you endanger yourself. You have no armor, you're vulnerable to physical attacks. Even though Ivaldi helps your defense, it isn't enough for me to feel comfortable with it. If you trust me, just obey me!" He probably could've picked a better word than obey, but he didn't have the luxury to pick all his words carefully. "Listen, everyone. He seems indestructible, but he has a vulnerability. If I'm right, we should be able to exploit it. First of all, Javik..." After he finished explaining, everyone hurried to get in place for their assigned task. Unisha, I need you ready. I have a plan. All you need to do, once it starts, I need the strongest vines you have around his arms to restrain him. You'll know. He didn't have time to explain everything to her, but she'd certainly know. The main thing he needed was that she didn't get herself killed or knocked unconscious doing something heroic. "L'Arachel, you're with me. Stay behind me, and if it goes well, be ready to flood him with Ivaldi if I can't finish him myself." If all went well, he hoped Siegmund would be able to finish it, but Siegmund and Ivaldi working in tandem was generally enough to fell any demon. He motioned for her to follow, and began to hurry towards the room where Caius was, where he would duck and wait for their opening."You overestimate yourself." Caius said condescendingly to Unisha. "You don't want them to risk their lives to protect you, why? Because you wish to die? Maybe they think their lives are a worthy trade for yours. It matters not. You'll all be dead by the end of the day." He soon became involved with the scuffle against the very powerful werewolf, though. Though Kaden wasn't absurdly strong in his human form or regular wolf form, in this form, he lost nearly all reason and gained absurd physical strength. The vines enwrapped his form just as the water began to try to flood in his armor, and Caius was having a bit of a difficult time just shrugging this off when this irritating werewolf kept slamming its fist and claws against his skull. Was he doing actual damage to Caius? No, he wasn't. But he was managing to give him a headache, and make him very irritated. Kaden stepped forward, grabbing his skull and trying to literally rip it completely off his shoulders, pulling and heaving with animalistic intensity."Ugh, how would Hiyori do this..." Javik muttered in mild irritation to himself as he was fiddling with a tangle of wires beneath the master alarm system. "'Oh, Javie, it's really quite simple. You see you just blah blah and then you stick the blur blur in the bleh socket. Really, a caveman could do it!' Yeah whatever, smartass." He jammed the end of a cord into a socket, which shot out a bunch of sparks. "Uh, that's probably fine..." He reached up, turning the dial on the console above all the way to one side. "I really hope those a** holes have their earplugs in..." He continued to mess with the wiring below, routing power directly where he would need it... he hoped. Either this would really do exactly what Ephraim would need, or it would blow up in his face. Guess he'd know soon."...Enough!!" A pulse of demonic energy shot out of Caius's body, forcing the vines off of him and sending many of the people in the room flying backwards. Kaden scooted back only slightly due to his large size, and immediately went back on the offensive. "Irritating beast!" Caius reared his blade back, slashing and cutting Kaden's left arm clean off. Kaden let out a howl of both pain and anger, though the more unique power of his werewolf form would begin to show itself as his left arm began to grow right back out of its socket. Caius wasted no time on remarking about that though, delivering a flurry of slashes against the werewolf's midsection, before reaching up, grabbing it by the throat and throwing it with all his strength, enough that he crashed straight through the window and kept flying all the way into the city of Midgar. That would probably terrify some random citizen. "Angel!" He reached towards Hana, and she would feel herself lifted right up off her feet, and suddenly she would speed through the air, directly towards him as he reared his blade back.A hole in his stomach was apparently something a demon could just shake off, as Jake leaped through the air, grabbing Hana out of it and landing, pushing her away to try to get her clear of the fighting area. "Sorry for the blood," he said quickly before turning and waylaying into his father with his twin blades, clashing swords with Caius several times in rapid succession. "You'll have to do better than that!" The amount of blood Jake had left all over the room was a little alarming, but he seemed to be doing all right all things considered."You're really starting to piss me off, son!" Caius shouted, his once composed voice now clearly showing the irritation these vermin were giving him as he clashed blades with his son several times at incredible speed. (( OOC: ))

L'Arachel's irritation wasn't going to vanish away anytime soon, not only did she fail to remotely injure him at all, but allowed him the last word, she had much to say to him, but was never really given that chance due to her beloved over protective husband! What a drag. "He was bound to become disoriented! " Unless that armor had some kind of protection to his eyes too, which at this point, she wouldn't doubt. Everything else was going so badly, why not. "Did you just say obey you? I'm hardly one of your trainees! " Stressful times, though she really wasn't actually angry with him, everyone was very irritated at this point, and for L'Arachel, it was ten times worse. She didn't really know how to lose, or give up. As he began to explain things to the others, the moment he gave her the go to attack with Ivaldi the moment that opportunity came, which she very well expected to, she seemed to perk right back up with the very idea of it! "Right! I won't miss a second time.." Lord, one could only hope not. She might actually become very scary if it didn't work again! "..Please be careful! Whatever it is, don't get yourselves killed. If this doesn't work, I will lead him out of here before anyone else is hurt! " She said to Ephraim's mind, keeping sure to take extra caution not to let Caius hear her. "I don't want to see anyone else hurt. You fool! I would gladly face you alone, given the chance. " L'Arachel wasn't the only brave woman here. "Kaden!!" Azura summoned her trident, her sea blue eyes narrowing in pure anger! With little warning, a golden light energy began quickly surging through the trident's three prongs, before jetting off directly for Caius, with any luck the energy behind it might cause him to be thrown through the air like a rag-doll, damaging whatever got in his way. Though before she could make sure it even worked, Azura rushed off after Kaden. He was already badly injured, and god knows what state he would be in now, with the added risk of citizens becoming afraid and possibly attacking him too. She wasn't about to let any of that happen. "..! But...I need to heal you..! " Hana said back to him, while she did remain a distance away, she didn't run away anywhere. "I can heal you, can't I?? " She was starting to suspect the possibilities of that, sensing a darker presence from within him. Maybe heals for him in particular, were not the best idea for his health..

___ ___ _________ ___ ___ "I know I must place my duty as a commander above my life as a man. And once I am crowned, I most certainly will do exactly that. However, I am not ready to divorce myself from my compassion just yet. I will find the balance somehow, the means to save my country and her people. That is the king I wish to become, and so that is the man I must be." "You may be willing to risk your life on assumptions, but I'm not! I happen to value your life too much." It was funny to see Ephraim scold someone for their recklessness, as that was something that happened to him so often, especially during the war. Even despite his station, he was well-known to charge into enemy ranks and take hits meant for his allies. It irritated him when people called him reckless, though he certainly was. He did what he had to do, and he typically did it in a calculated way, which was why it bothered him so much. He wasn't going to lose a battle due to recklessness. That was perhaps most obvious here, where he retreated from battle momentarily against Caius because he didn't feel confident he could win on his strength alone. He didn't pick fights he couldn't win. "...You know what I mean. I'm your commander, do as I tell you!" He was that during the war, but they were hardly still in the War of the Stones. He wasn't her commander now, but her husband. Did that give him the power to still tell her what to do? ...Probably not. Typically the wives seemed to get the final word. But regardless, he needed her to listen to him."If the two of you could stop making out for a few seconds, we need to deal with this demon in our house." Cloud was second-guessing putting his faith in this..."...Right." And so Ephraim would refocus on the task at hand, explaining what needed to be done...""Face me alone"? You would last a few seconds." She really expected him to just run off with her to "face her alone", butcher her instantly, then come back. That would be quite a waste of time. With his barrier and his sword, he blocked Azura's attempted strike, though it did push him back slightly. Which honestly was pretty impressive, given how everything had been going. He was about to counterattack, but his attention had to be redirected to his irritating son."Just hide somewhere, dammit!" Jake appreciated the thought and everything, but he couldn't stand here trying to hash out details while facing down his father. He had no idea how holy energy would interact with his body--he had lived in the demon world his entire life. Not much exposure to holy energy there. His twin blades clashed with his father's demonic blade several times, he swiped the blades swiftly towards his father's skull, but his father dodged, retaliating quickly with a slash to his shoulder. "Guh!" He backed away slightly, rearing one of his blades back and throwing it at his father. Caius stepped to the side to dodge, grabbing the blade as it flew past him. He coated it instantly in demonic energy, throwing it right back at Jake, where it lodged itself in the arm that still held a sword. "Damn!" He dropped his other sword from the pain, taking a few more steps back as he ripped the sword back out of his arm. "You think that'll stop me?!""Just give it up, you're embarrassing yourself." Caius said with the same condescending tone as before. "You're all hopelessly outmatched. How could any of you possibly hope to defeat me? I am power incarnate. Even the Serenitian gods couldn't stand against me."A few more switches flipped, several more sparks jetting out of sockets with things that didn't belong there stuffed in. Yeah, this was going great. "Guess we'll see what happens." Turning a few more dials and raising a knob all the way, he took a breath, before slamming his fist down onto the big button. "<********>" The entire console sparked violently as the machine desperately tried to do what it was forced to do."You're all pathetic. Human and Serenitian alike, clutching desperately to life and cowering in fear. You cannot hope to-" But the machine did exactly as Javik wanted it to. Every ounce of power in the entire mansion, and the entire city block, was routed to putting every single speaker in the area and in the house at beyond their maximum value, and the result was, well, to call it beyond ear-piercing would be putting it mildly. Every single sort of alarm that existed--fire, tornado, anything--all began to play at deafeningly high volume inside the room Caius was in. "WHA- GAAAH!" Seeing Caius react to light from both Alisa's arrow and Ivaldi made Ephraim realize he was still vulnerable to visual stimuli, and so it stood to reason he was vulnerable to audio as well. And even worse, having a helmet on would make such horrifically loud noises ring across your skull several times over as the audio bounced inside the armor. Caius dropped his sword instantly, clutching his armor-covered ears desperately to try to silence the awful noise. Everyone who wasn't Caius would be happy to see a shimmering around their skulls which alleviated the noise to some extent. A spell from Alisa that helped to cancel audio, it would still probably hurt their ears, but this would at least allow them to function and hopefully prevent permanent hearing damage. No time to waste, Cloud immediately sprinted out from his hiding spot, slamming his heavy Ultima Weapon against the back of Caius's knees. Even if he couldn't pierce the armor, the crushing weight of the Ultima Weapon could still be useful, Ephraim believed--and it turned out to be true as Caius was forced down to his knees. There was her cue. Alisa had to psyche herself up to get through her fear, but seeing Caius so disadvantaged helped. She sprinted forward, leaping up, catching herself on a magic sigil which let her jump a second time even higher, and she landed directly on Caius's shoulders, wrapping her legs around his neck. Cloud and Jake joined Unisha's vines in restraining his arms as Alisa drew an arrow. The arrow's tip began to burn with magma-intense heat, and she would jam it straight into the socket that allowed his helmet to be removed. She raised it back up, jamming it in two or three times before actually getting it firmly in there. Afterwards, she manipulated the matter of the arrow, causing the back of the arrow to grow in both size and weight almost instantly, making gravity immediately take hold of it and jerk it downwards with enough momentum to rip the helmet right off of him with a distinct POP nosie, not that anyone would be able to hear it very well over these sirens. "RRRGH!!" His silver hair spilled out as his face came into view, as well as his piercing blue, enraged eyes. Alisa placed a foot on his shoulder, quickly vaulting backwards and off of his shoulders. All to get out of the way for what came next. At last, Ephraim sprinted in with Siegmund in hand, wasting no time in plunging the sacred spear directly into his skull. The monster-slaying properties of the treasured spear of Renais got to work instantly, and the searing holy pain would burn through his skull intensely. Ephraim did not stop at that, however--he had no intention of stopping with his stabs until Caius stopped moving. Ripping Siegmund from Caius's face, he immediately plunged it back in, ripping it back out and thrusting it right back over and over relentlessly, mercilessly. He had no intention of showing any mercy. If he could kill him here and now, that is exactly what he would do."GH!! G-gAAAH!...!!" His spasmatic jerking began to slow as the excruciating pain began to overtake him, and he felt, for the first time in so many ages, his life actually in danger. "...NO!!" He mustered all his strength in sending out a demonic pulse of pure energy, to shoot everyone around him far away. Hopefully he could break a few more walls in the process. The sparks on the monitor continued to become more and more violent, until finally the entire console completely exploded, and the power for the mansion, as well as half of Midgar, was completely killed. And that was when the alarms finally stopped. But the ringing in Caius's ears might continue for a very long time."Gah!" Ephraim felt his back hit the wall, but he caught himself before he hit the ground. This was exactly why he instructed L'Arachel to stay well behind him--in case he did something like that. Thanks to that, L'Arachel would be unaffected by the explosion of energy, and would be at the ready. "L'Arachel!!" Him weakening was exactly the reason the onslaught had to continue, and Ivaldi's holy power mixed with its monster-slaying properties was exactly what would be perfect to continue applying pressure and horrific pain. After knocking Ephraim and the others away--especially that accursed spear, good god--Caius thought for a moment through his horrific migraine that maybe he could turn the situation back around. But immediately as Ivaldi struck him, it would become apparent that his helmet was what was erecting the magical barrier around him. He took the full force of the holy magic, which put him directly down on his hands and knees. "...! I... will not... be stopped... by this trite magic..." He forced himself back up on shaky legs, taking a few, weak steps towards L'Arachel. Though once she inevitably struck him again with the magic, he let out a pained, and exhausted sigh as he dropped to his knees only inches in front of her, then to his face, as his face met the floor beneath, and he seemed to finally lose consciousness. "....." If it wasn't for the dire situation they were all in right now, L'Arachel wouldn't have let it end there, not until she had her last word! But for now, she would have to let it go and focus as things began to play out. When the sound came, her first reaction was to cover her own ears, even with the magic Alisa put to protect them from the damaging sounds, it would still not be very comfortable to anyone's ears! Though there was a bright side to this terrible noise, as it seemed to be affecting Caius as Ephraim suspected it would. Of course. When was he ever wrong? It almost made her feel a little guilty for arguing with him! With the few of them working together, their victory would come after much struggling, as Caius finally dropped to the ground in the state of unconsciousness after L'Arachel's own attacks. It was..so tempting, after all the hell he put them through, would it be wrong to take out a little anger on him in his current state? He was there, right in front of her, as if fate was actually pushing her to have her much needed 'fun' in the moment. He DID nearly kill everyone! With her hands to her hips, L'Arachel's boot came down over his head, pushing it down into the bloody floor he laid in. "Hahaha..! Sound was your weakness. Pitiful creature! " Sometimes, she could be just a little to bold. "...I think you should move away from him.." Unisha suggested to L'Arachel, after what all he did, she found it very hard to believe he was really down. Not to mention, there was no light in the mansion, nor in the city! If he WAS pretending to be down, he could get away with several quick kills if he really wanted to, using that darkness to an advantage, but hopefully she was just being paranoid. Holding her palm out, a small orb of pure white light appeared there, filling the room with enough light to allow everyone to see. "...What are we going to do with him? I don't want to see him thrown into some cell he will easily escape from. We need to make sure...." She really didn't feel like the kind hearted princess she was raised to be right now."...We need to make sure he absolutely cannot come back...This is the only chance we have to end him for good! " Otherwise...this would only start all over again, and her father would still be in danger!

However, I am not ready to divorce myself from my compassion just yet. I will find the balance somehow, the means to save my country and her people. As L'Arachel so victoriously dropped her boot to rest on their adversary's head and push his face down into the floor, Ephraim... paused for a moment. Luckily, the room was rather dark, so nobody noticed the... slight coloration on his features. Well, L'Arachel probably would, especially after Unisha lit the room with her magic. Was now really the time...? He shook his head quickly--he was typically good at not letting himself be distracted. "You don't need to try to convince me," Ephraim said gravely as Unisha began to float the idea of finishing him. "I'm going to kill him regardless of anyone's opinion. Step back, L'Arachel." As much as he seemed to just so enjoy her display of victory and supremacy, he certainly wasn't about to stab through her foot. After L'Arachel heeded his instruction, Ephraim wasted no time in turning Caius over with his foot, lifting Siegmund with both hands and the blade aimed downward, jamming it straight down into his skull once again. Ripping it back out, he did the same once again--he had no intention of stopping anytime soon. Before he could do it a second time, however, the same portal that had opened in the sky which brought him here opened beneath him, swallowing him immediately and instantly closing itself. Siegmund's blade met the floor beneath them, and lucky it did, as Ephraim almost lost his balance from the suddenness of Caius's departure. "...Damn!" Of course, he had to have some kind of failsafe. This b*****d really thought of everything. ...Except something to prevent noise, it seemed. If he had a portal set up to ferry him away if he lost consciousness or came too close to death, they would have to be in his own world to actually finish him off."It's never that easy..." Cloud sighed, turning to survey the damage to the mansion. ...What was left of the mansion, anyway. "This is a bit of a fixer-upper..." And as if comedic timing was appropriate, moments after he said that, an entire wall completely caved in, dropping part of the second floor down into the first. "..." He let out a sigh. The mansion was almost completely totaled, and now had no power at all."At least we're all alive!" At least someone was an optimist. "Last time anyone beat Caius, he killed hundreds of people before finally being sealed away! It's a miracle we all survived!""It's not a miracle. We survived by working together. If we all just flew off the handle and tried to duel him alone, we would've had no chance." Ephraim ripped Siegmund's blade out of the ground, holding it at his side as he spoke. "This is important for everyone to keep in mind. There are some foes out there that are stronger than any one of us alone, but by coordinating and combining our power, we can still win. Trying to play the hero and fight alone will sometimes result in endangering your allies even more.""Yeah, yeah, power of friendship, hooray." Javik said as he walked into the room, wiping his face that had been blackened from the smoke he had been around to make the alarms sound."Whew..." Alisa plopped down on the floor, exhaling sharply. "I'm exhausted...""He'll be back." Jake said, clearly not worried about his profuse bleeding. "He always comes back. I've never seen him defeated like that, but I know it's nearly impossible to kill him. He'll be back, and he'll remember what happened.""..." Ephraim nodded. "And next time, we'll be ready for him. More ready, at least." Ephraim recognized the fact that it was fortunate that Caius didn't consider him a threat, thus letting him execute his plan. After what happened today, he would be much more concerned about himself and L'Arachel, and that was something he would have to keep in mind. "Are you going to stay with us?""..." Jake turned slightly, assuming he wasn't the one being spoken to. As he realized no one was behind him, he turned back, confused. "...Me?""Who else?""...I'm Caius's son. And you have a lot of Serenitian royals here. I doubt I'm wanted here. But that's fine. I can handle myself.""Shut up and just stay, idiot." Alisa said as she was now completely laid out on the ground, barely even moving her body to speak. She really must have been exhausted, huh... (( OOC: ))

Unisha's face paled, seeing him escape through that portal only made her fall into her silent panic all over again."This nightmare will never end..." As it was, Caius would now have everyone here who fought so hard to defeat him on his kill list, and who knew when the next time he would show? They only survived by one small miscalculation on his part, surly he wouldn't show up again until he had that figured out as well. How would they stop him then? ....For now, she would have to push past these worries, If only she could hold such optimistic outlooks like her dear friend. "...Who is in need of healing? " She turned to Jake, who was obviously the worst off right now, though Kaden wasn't doing very well ether, as from what she saw before he was thrown out of the mansion..."How can I help you? ...And do not say you are fine! Will my healing hurt you? " He just had to be a demon, something she didn't specialize in healing for! "..After everything you did to help us, do you really expect to be not wanted here?! Don't be silly. You're injured, now tell me how to help you! " She wasn't normally this bossy, but given everything, and his continued bleeding, she was on high edge right now. All she wanted to do was help him!

Jake "...What?" Jake said in almost a demanding tone as Unisha turned to look at him oh-so-concerned. "I'm fine-" He was interrupted by her telling him not to say he was fine. "...Shut up! I'm a demon! I'll be fine. I'll heal on my own. I don't know what your healing would do to me." Maybe they all should've tried healing Caius at this rate. "I told you Caius was hard to kill, well, I inherited that quality. He's a lot harder to kill than me though, that's for sure." If he took Siegmund to the face that many times, there was literally zero chance he would still be alive. Caius had amassed so much power during his time in the demon world that killing him would be no small task. "...You people are too trusting." He sighed. Even Eskallion's daughter was saying this?! He was Caius's son. How in the world could he be trusted? "My father wants nothing more than to kill yours. You really think you can trust me?" It was obvious he was against his father, given everything that had just happened. But to offer him sanctuary without any understanding of him or his motivations was madness--or at least, that's how Jake saw it. "...What..." The more he looked at this woman as she bossed him around, the more he felt his conviction wavering. Well, that was one way to put it. It was more like... well... he did have a heart even being a demon, and if one could hear it, they would realize it was starting to beat more rapidly. Caius did say she might be gorgeous, but this is... far more than I imagined. How did he ever think I'd have the nerve to kill this woman? God, the more she stared at him, the more bizarre his heart felt. He had to turn his face away and try to put it out of his mind. For a young demonic man who had never been around someone in this sort of context, he had literally no idea how to act. Much less being that she was a beautiful woman."Serenitians can hear thoughts, Romeo." Alisa said lazily from her beloved spot on the floor.

"This will be challenging to get used to.." She sighed, as if healing someone was SO important to her! It kind of was, though. Helping others is what she lived for, so to be unhelpful in any sort of way, especially the one good thing she was best at, healing, it kind of brought her mood down! "...I'm relived at least to know you will be okay.." He still didn't seem okay, physically, but if he said so...no reason he would just lie about it, right? "...You jumped in front of the blade that was meant for me, do you really believe I would not trust you after all you've done to protect all of us? Now stay, or i'll make you stay! " Now that was just her playful side coming out, though it may seem she was being bossy to him, anyone who really knew Unisha would know she was just being playful! "......." Her face lit up in a soft blush, wow, was this really happening? She wasn't even trying to listen in on his thoughts, but...it seemed his came in very clear. "...Hee,hee..." She stepped closer to Jake, despite all the destruction of their lovely home and chaos that would probably follow in time, Unisha couldn't help herself but to keep bringing a little light with her fun-going attitude. "..In that case, I should thank you for not killing me! " She leaned up a little, placing a cutesy kiss to his cheek before leaning back and taking a step away. She was lucky Phoenix wasn't here right now, how badly she would tease her!
"...Um..Not to..be the one to break up a new love blossoming.." L'Arachel suddenly began to say.Yeah, she had to embarrass them now. "But do we not have...something more important to deal with right now? How do we intend to make the lights come back? " Not just for the mansion, but apparently the entire city. "This world is so complicated. What ever happened to candle light? "

Jake "I've been fighting Caius for a long time. Trust me, this isn't nearly as bad as it's been before." Caius thought he actually managed to kill Jake last time they battled, but clearly he was mistaken. It wasn't as though he didn't feel pain, but he had a relatively high pain tolerance after being stabbed and cut so many times. "...What?!" Jake couldn't exactly hide the color that came to his face at that. Oh, did he like being bossed around? ...Well, not necessarily, but for some reason, this very pretty, proper-looking princess was someone he expected to be demure and soft-spoken. Having her keep bossing him around so boldly was unexpected. ...And exciting. Who knew she had such a spine? Even if she wasn't being entirely serious. "I'd love to see you try to make me stay. You seem like a pretty delicate princess." Ooh, a challenge. Was Unisha's playfulness enough to make her take him up on that, or would she let that challenge go without meeting it? Jake clearly seemed interested in seeing whatever she might try. Then came the next spur of playfulness, as Unisha continued to put her boldest foot forward. What a terrifying princess she turned out to be. Jake had a feeling that if he actually did try to fight her while following Caius, he would've ended up very swiftly down on his knees from the princess's charm and boldness alone. His face reddened further, though he had a bewildered look on his face. "...What was that?" He apparently felt familiar enough with it on a basic level to be flustered by it, but he didn't seem to know what a kiss was. Pretty funny. Though it made sense--he was raised by Caius as a weapon in a world where nothing else existed except him and millions of demons. There were probably a lot of things he didn't understand.Alisa immediately perked up from her spot, smiling deviously. "That's a kiss, silly Jake. You're supposed to kiss people if you think they look good! And since Unisha kissed you, if you don't return it, it'll be incredibly insulting!" Her smile widened to a grin, and if Unisha tried to speak to correct her, she would find suddenly that her lips wouldn't move. Maybe having a very playful/devious, and incredibly magically-attuned best friend was a mistake after all. If you kiss her on the lips, it's even more of a compliment! She just didn't stop, did she?"...? Uh, all right." He didn't want to be rude, and obviously, he DID find her attractive. Reaching forward, he rather brusquely grabbed her by the face with his hand cupping her chin and cheeks--so romantic!--and pulled her towards him while he leaned forward, kissing her right there on the lips, as though there was nothing weird about it at all. He pulled away with a red face though, feeling a bit self-conscious of himself. Even though he didn't know what he did, he still felt... weird about it. Not a bad kind of weird, though.Oh my god, he actually did it. Alisa was having to try very hard to contain her rampant giggling. "And now you're married! Yay!" She threw up an arrow, which exploded into confetti, falling in spectacular fashion and adding to the already ridiculous mess they had to clean up. "Now you belong to Unisha! And she belongs to you! So never kiss anyone else again! You're committed!""Wait, what...?" She put an arm around Unisha's shoulders. "I never thought I'd finally see my best friend get hitched! I'm so emotional right now! Sad your pappy couldn't be here, but we'll have to give him the abridged version, huh?" Obviously, Unisha could move her lips again. She just stopped her from doing so to prevent her from stopping the kiss, which Alisa was sure still wouldn't work, but oh man was she happy that this particular plan came together."...I... don't think I really get it, but all right. I'll try to be a good partner for you, Unisha."The genuine way he said that just completely broke her finally, as Alisa fell into a fit of very unladylike laughter as she basically fell down on the ground clutching her stomach. "OHMYGODTHISISTHEBESTDAYOFMYLIFE" She had never laughed so much. What a turnaround from how terrified she had been while Caius was here!"??" The horribly confused look on poor Jake's features was priceless. "...Did... I say something wrong?""HAHAHAHAHIJWBSBRSUHXQ" someone was enjoying herself. "OHMYGODTHISONEISAKEEPERUNI ILOVEYOURHUSBANDHAHHAHAHSDDWOCH""...." One could practically see the sweatdrop on Ephraim, and probably everyone else, as the scene unfolded. Alisa was some kind of undiagnosed, raving lunatic... Deciding to disregard that for now, he turned to his wife, nodding. "Finally someone says something relevant." That just made Alisa laugh louder. She would be down there a while, wouldn't she? "...Anyway! I think there are a lot of candles around this mansion. It might be a good idea for us to find some to light the area while we try to... clean this mess." They had a lot of cleaning ahead of them if they wanted this place looking presentable by the Winter Festival."You really had to kill the entire city's power, huh?""Oh, I'm sorry, I'm only the guy who gave you the big opening to kill the guy who was really close to killing all of us. Forgive me, dearest Cloud, for my horrible transgressions. I'm not as smart as you educated folk." Javik was all sarcasm today, huh. The only one he'd let criticize him was Hiyori, because she was the only one that probably knew more about this than he did. And she probably would. "Ugh, I could've done this while not only NOT killing the power to half the city, but also while making the sound even louder and actually giving more power to the city!" He rolled his eyes at the thought. What a brat this... imaginary Hiyori was. (( OOC: ))

"..I'm sorry you've had to go through so many painful things.." That was more like Unisha, the kind, caring person that she was. But it only lasted so long before her more playful nature came out. "Is this a challenge? " She smiled. " Okay! Challenge accepted, but it will have to wait till later...Don't worry, Jake! I won't let you get away. " She had no intention of letting him slip away, just, right now...things were kind of getting in the way of her fun time, like working on the mansion cleanup! In the next few moments, her playful flirting may of gone a lot further then she actually intended, thanks to her DEAR friend taking it a step higher! She knew the moment Alisa began to speak for her, she would not be able to get another word in to save herself, or Jake. That was proven correct when she tried to speak, only to realize her lips weren't moving. Alisa was such a mischievous friend! It all happened so fast, and before she knew it, she would now be the one flustered as he kissed her, and rather then on the cheek as she so cutely did, it was to her lips. Unisha's face nearly matched her pink hair at this point! "..Allliiiiissssaaaaaaa! " She finally managed to say, her face getting redder by the second, with each word that came from Alisa's lips, only increased her endless blushing! Poor Jake, his cluelessness as to what was really going on made her feel so guilty, she couldn't possibly disagree with what Alisa already did. At least, not right now. Later, maybe she could talk to him on the side and explain how Alisa was teasing them both. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable, or make him think he had to do something he didn't want to! For now ,she would play along. His confusion really was cute, though. "..Thank you...dear!. " After this, she would definitely have to try to find some discrete way of getting him alone, in a innocent chance to get to know him better. She still did feel bad for his obviously terrible life, and genuinely wanted to help him see the nicer things he probably missed out on throughout his entire life. Even if it was just as friends, she wanted to help bring a little light in his life. "You're so evil, Alisa! " She said into her friends mind, making sure no one else could hear her of course! Her playful tone was clear she wasn't actually angry with her, if anything, she really was enjoying this very rare moment. "So much work.." How much could they stand to do, there was a LOT of destruction in the poor once beautiful mansion! L'Arachel was the first to begin the search for candles, or lanterns, anything they could use to safely give them light! If only Hiyori was there, yes, she would have a great time teasing her older brother on how slow he was when it came to technical things. Though it was a question, no matter how good she was, that job did seem pretty tough to pull off, even more a pro!

Jake It had been around an hour since the battle with Caius ended, and the group gathered dispersed to different areas of the mansion to try to help with cleanup. It was a tall task, but all the more reason to get started. The early morning sunlight was beginning to peak over the horizon as the members of Avalanche worked by candlelight. They had mostly paired off, and Jake ended up paired with his new wife Unisha. "You want to know more about me?" He paused a moment, shrugging as he lifted a board, hammer in hand, as he began to line up the nails to drive into the wall. "I don't know if it'll be interesting..." At least he seemed to grasp the basic functionality of hammer and nails, and didn't break a hole in the wall with the hammer and throw the nail in or something. "Your people know about Caius, right? It was a long, long time ago that he was first banished into the negative dimension, the place that would later come to be known as the Demon World. It was a space that was meant to snuff out power and erode its inhabitants into nothingness, but Caius was strong enough that he changed the entire realm at a basic level. He changed its entire functionality with his power, and instead inverted it to allow him to amass more strength. He was banished there alongside the demon army he had created, some out of his own power, some out of unwilling sacrifices. My mother was among the latter." It was disturbing to think what Caius did to this woman, this woman who once had dreams and aspirations. Who may have had a loving family. All of that was stripped away from her along with her humanity when she was forcibly changed into a demon, and then after they arrived at that realm, he took something else from her. "He never told me why he created me, but it was "natural." He thought trying to spawn a child from his own energy would produce an undesirable result. I don't know how long he was there before I was born, nor do I know how long it's been since. I just know it's been a long time." It was hard to define time when you lived in an inexorable space where there was no day or night, only existence. Long for him could mean 20 years, or 200000 years. Even he wouldn't know. "I followed him at first. He was the only thing I knew. Things like good and evil weren't taught to me. The thing that made me question him was the screams. While I grew up, I heard screaming in my head. It was quiet at first, but the more I grew and the more power I gained, the more deafening it became. Maybe it's not dissimilar to your own mind-reading powers, but I can't control it. It was coming from the demons... the ones who had been Serenitian before. It was in their minds. Not just screaming. Begging, bargaining, hopelessness... it was just suffering given sound. It was all I could hear. One day, the demon I knew had carried me until my birth, I just... touched her, with the thought that I wanted the screaming in her head to stop. And she changed. ...She didn't return exactly to how she had been, but she lost much of the demonification Caius had forced on her, and she regained control of herself. ..." His eyes averted, and he paused in what he was doing. "...It was hard to... listen to her. She was......" He... really... didn't want to remember that. "...It doesn't matter. She told me the truth about her, about Caius, about the world she had known and loved. And then she killed herself. Right in front of me. She couldn't take it anymore, and she was paranoid Caius would return to take away her chance to make her suffering end again. I don't blame her. But it wasn't easy to see." He took a deep breath. "As she was dying, she finally looked at peace. And the suffering finally stopped. She told me that I shouldn't exist, but she also told me that she loved me. In spite of everything, she said she loved me. Even though I must have been nothing except a reminder of all that suffering. She wanted me to do what I thought was right. And that's what I did. I didn't know what Caius wanted, I didn't know if he felt justified, or if he even could be considered justifiable, but I did know that he was a man who made that person--a person who just wanted to live and be happy--suffer for centuries. That one person would be enough, but there were many others. And that wasn't right. That's what I believed." He sat his hammer down as he finished, raising one of his hands as a barely visible glow radiated from it. "I don't know why I have this power, but I used it to drive Caius's corruption out of the other former Serenitians. Many killed themselves like she did, but some chose to stay with me and fight. We formed a resistance within his own world, and worked tirelessly to try to disrupt his power influx. When he opened the rift between this world and his, it was thanks to them I was able to get through it as well, to try to stop him. I wish I could say they were still alive, but I don't know... I would be surprised if they survived. Was it worth it to send me through? I don't think so. But I also know that, if they are dead, they're at least at peace, like my mother. They believed in me. They believed I could stop him. I hope they were right." Lowering his arm, he took a few steps closer to her. "That went on for a bit, didn't it? Sorry if it was a bit boring. Thanks for listening. I haven't really had anyone else to talk to about this. You're a good wife." He grabbed her by the face again with his one hand oh-so-romantically, leaning in and giving her a quick kiss on the lips. He really needed to be informed of Alisa's joke. ...Or did he? As long as Unisha didn't mind, maybe it wasn't hurting anyone... "...There's another thing though." He took a small step back, crossing his arms. "I think I might have a sibling. A twin. I don't know for sure, but I've always felt this eerily familiar presence in that realm, though I never could find out where. I might have been able to find her--I think it's a her--if I did that instead of coming to this world, but I knew I didn't have enough time to do both. If she's been kept away from me by Caius, and I've never seen anyone else try to fight him, I can only suspect she's become the weapon he hoped I would be. ...Maybe he did it on purpose. Letting us grow up apart, seeing how we might differ. I hope, if we see her, I can sway her to our side, but I have my doubts..." If he hadn't heard the suffering in his head, he likely would've continued to blindly follow Caius for a long time, if not his entire life. He assumed that's what was happening with her, if she did exist... "I think that's everything. I hope that was useful to you somehow. It's nice to talk about it, even if it's hard to force myself to remember some of it." Mainly the details regarding his mother... part of him wished he could forget that horrible expression in her eyes once she was finally freed. ...But those eyes were exactly the reason he had chosen to change. Even if it was horrible, it served a purpose. (( OOC: ))

It was true, Unisha wasn't exactly one to dive into such tedious work, she was a pretty proper princess after all! It wasn't common for royalty to do these kinds of things.Still, she obviously wanted to help, and she wasn't about to use the princess-get-away-card and be completely horrible by leaving Jake to do all the work himself! She did what she could, picking up smaller pieces of debris, and setting them into a pile to the side. It would be easier, with the proper tools to pick up a large sum of the pile later. For now, this would do. Though she was getting a little tired! In the midst of picking up things, her attention was set to Jake as he offered to tell her about himself. Surprising with how not long ago she was thinking about getting to know him better! "If you are comfortable telling me, then I would love to know.." She might not be very prepared for what she was about to hear. She knew already by the little he did tell her, that his life was far from happy, it was a dark and sad one, but she was not prepared for what all he would have to tell her. Setting down the chunk of drywall, she just seemed to suddenly lose all interest in cleaning, as she listened to him speak further. Her heart was sinking faster then a rock in the water! "Oh Jake...I can't believe anyone could do such horrible things, especially your own father...I'm so sorry for everything you have been through..For you, your mother...and everyone Caius has hurt. I really do wish there was something I could do to help you...I wish I could take away all that pain you've endured for so long...I don't know if I can ever truly be of help...though.." She paused a moment, taking hold of his now free hand after closing the distance between them a little and holding it gently, looking into his eyes with sincerity. "I will do all that I can to help you, in anyway possible. You don't have to be alone anymore, you know that? ...I'm always going to be hear for you, if you ever need me. Promise you won't forget that? If you ever need to talk, know that I'm here always.." She didn't know how much more he might have to say someday, but she wanted him to know not to worry, she would listen. And so she did, giving him as much time as he needed to continue before his next pause, a brief pause that would soon turn her cheeks a soft pink once again! Okay, she didn't expect that, but she also didn't seem to mind it. "....I-It's bad luck...If I do not return that same kiss...you know!" Oh, Alisa. She was trying to corrupt sweet Unisha, wasn't she? No later after her shyly spoken words, Unisha leaned up to him, accidently losing her balance just enough that she ended up leaning firmly against his own body the second her lips met his own. He might even feel her rapid heart beat with how close they were! What she didn't seem to realize, in this little moment, she had put her arms around his shoulders, looking a little more romantic then she come to realize. Silly Unisha. "...! " Gosh, she felt like such a school girl with a huge crush suddenly. He was cute, very cute, and it was all starting to hit her at the most inappropriate time ever!

Jake "It's better that I don't forget these things. It keeps my sights on who I want to be, not who he wanted me to be." Without that shock and the pain associated, who knew where he would be now? Perhaps he would've been helping Caius in this assault that had happened shortly before. Had it all gone the same way, he likely would've been killed by Ephraim and L'Arachel while Caius escaped, uncaring. "...All right. Thank you." He said with a nod at her last words. "I can't promise I'll be any help to you, but I'll do my best too." These two were already making vows to each other, maybe Alisa was right to say they were already married. And that would be magnified even more as the next moment came, and Unisha started to return his affection. Oh, things were really getting serious now. For two people who hadn't actually agreed to be in any kind of romantic relationship, they sure were enjoying each other, weren't they? As she stumbled a bit into him, he did what any good husband would do and caught her, his arms around her as hers were around him, and they were so close. What a moment. How scandalous for the crown princess of Serenity to be so close to a demon--Caius's son no less. What would their fathers think? ...Well, that was probably the furthest thing from either of their minds right now. All Jake could think of was... she smelled really nice, and having her so close was... really exciting. And this "kissing" thing was also really fun, so why stop? They could continue their work later. He leaned down to kiss her once again, pulling her body even closer to his. She wasn't that much shorter than him, but what a bother to have to keep leaned down like this. It was that thought that made him, as if it wasn't any kind of big deal at all, move his hands down to her hips, lifting her so that they were eye-level, and he moved his arms to being beneath her thighs, to make her bend her knees as she was being held there so her legs would wrap around his waist at least slightly. That was better. Now he could continue this kiss without having to lean down at all! Not that she was heavy, but she would likely be able to tell how strong he was since he was holding her entire body weight up like she was a feather. Probably not that surprising given he was dual-wielding two somewhat large swords earlier. Even though she was so easy to carry, he turned slightly, pressing her back against the wall as he continued to carry her like that. Why? Well, he worried she might feel unstable or worry she might fall if he didn't. Even though he knew he could keep her from doing so, he wanted her to feel secure. How sweet? ...Point being, Jake seemed to make this situation incredibly sexual without even remotely meaning to. It must have been some kind of talent."Hee-hee-hee..." Alisa was snickering to herself like an evil witch--it was taking a lot of suppression to keep herself from erupting into an all-out witch cackle. Her expression was also a matching evil, knowing grin. Obviously, she wasn't close to Jake or Unisha, but she could still feel how close they were. Oh man, she really didn't expect her little plot to get things moving this far, but did she ever feel like a genius! What a matchmaker she was."Is something amusing?" Alisa wasn't alone, though, as she and Ephraim were in a small group as they helped to fix the messed up mansion."Oh, nothing." She gave him an oh-so-innocent smile with eyes closed."...Try to remain focused. Winter is coming, and I doubt the mansion in this state will shelter its inhabitants from much. We're all doing our part.""I think a couple of us are close to doing each other's parts..." Alisa muttered with that evil little grin on her face."What?""Nothing! Nothing.""...Right. This would go smoother if we had more people around who could fly... do you know where Phoenix is?"That expression on her features vanished in literally a single moment after hearing that name. "No." She responded flatly. Ooh, drama. "Probably screwing my brother again..." She muttered to herself bitterly. "...I need some air." Suddenly she felt very much like being alone, so with that she turned on her heel and walked with purpose out of the mansion. She exited through the nearest hole instead of using the front door, which was pretty amusing on its own. She would be back to help, obviously, just... (( OOC: ))
