"Do we split up and search then?" Kasumi asked "Or are there other leads we need first?"
Ren was ready to go look, but thought that Kasumi's questions were reasonable, so he waited to hear the answer.

Me: I would guess she's the organizer.
*I head up to her*
Me: Excuse me, I understand that the Lopunny for the festival has been poached?
FO: Oh dear yes. I've been having to stop angry parents for an hour now. Its been such a head ache.
Me: Do you know where the poachers went?
FO: I don't know, I saw some strange people flee into the city after the Lopunny was lost, but then again, I did a few shady individuals head to the Safari Zone...
*I turn back to the group*
Me: Well, Kasumi, it looks like we're splitting up, where do you want to check?

Nodding once more to Brian, Kasumi took off and Ren rushed after her. She seemed to know where she was going because they soon approached the Safari Zone. Outside the safari zone, a trio of Eevee were playing, and their not so fortunate playmate was a Meowth.. No one was around and the four Pokemon seemed to be wild, and Kasumi thought that they were sooooo cute.
The Meowth didn't seem to thrilled, because Eevee's were playing rough, but there was pure joy on the three little Eevee's faces, nothing mean about what they were trying to do. Well, it seemed too goot to pass up to Kasumi "Pory, come forth" Kasumi called her Porygon2 from it's pokeball.
"Fraxure, you too" Ren ordered, releasing it from it's pokeball. They had battled Eevee's before and they had proved to be tricky opponents, so like Kasumi, he went to his stronger pokemon. Nope, no underestimating them this time "Use Dragon Pulse!"
"Pory, use Blizzard!" Kasumi ordered.
The four pokemon noticed them, and the Meowth seemed to want to meet the oncoming attacks "Meeeeowth!" it said, using payday and throwing money at the pokemon, which didn't do much, and then the combined Dragon Pulse and Blizzard struck the four pokemon.
While the four pokemon were stunned, Ren and Kasumi blew their white flutes and then each threw two pokeballs, and after a tense few seconds, the pokemon were captured. Ren and Kasumi each picked up two pokeballs, and gathered up the coins that the meowth her thrown, and they headed into the Safari Zone.
They went over the fence, thinking that if any enemies were here it would give them the advantage of surprise. Well, technically they teleported from one side of the fence to the other, but the important bit was that they had not come in through the front door.
Ren mentally searched the area, seeking human presenses, and found two of them "This way" he indicated the direction that the pair had went in and took off after them.
They traveled a little while, along with Pory and Fraxure, before they caught up and found a pair pf pokemon poachers. They didn't seem to have the Lopunny with them, but Ren could tell that they were part of the same team.
"Frax...." Fraxure said quietly.
Ren nodded to his pokemon "They are bad alright."
"Pory...Lock-on to that Empoleon" Kasumi odered her pokemon. Pory's eyes started glowing faintly, as he concentrated on Empoleon.
"Use Assurance on Kadabra" Ren quietly ordered Fraxure, and the Dragon-type charged out from their hiding spot.
"Zapcannon now" Kasumi ordered, and Pory, who unleashed a mighty beam of electricity and struck Empoleon with destructive force. Kadabra had been clipped by the zapcannon, and turned just in time to be struck by Fraxure. Two of their pokemon were defeated in a second.
Ren had hoped to capture them before the pair could call out another pokemon, but both poachers proved to have good reflexes, sending out an Espeon and a Vaporeon before calling back each of their first pokemon.
"Where's the Lopunny?!" Kasumi demanded
The poachers laughed.
"Pory, lock-on to Vaporeon now." Kasumi ordered.
"Vaporeon, use Hydro pump" a poacher ordered, pointing at Pory
"Assurance again" Ren ordered.
Meowth emerged from one of Kasumi's pokeballed "Eow-meowth?" the pokemon tilted it's head cutely, playing with Kasumi's show-laces.
"Espeon, use psychic" the other poacher pointed at Pory too. Kasumi thought that was unfair.
"Stay strong, and use zapcannon" Kasumi directed her pokemon, worried about it, but as she hoped it managed to remain conscious and delivered a viscous blow to Vaporeon, causing it to faint too, Assurance struck Espeon, but it managed to remain awake. Espeon used psychic again, viciousness striking Fraxure as Fraxure used Assurance a third time. It was a triple knock out, then.
All four pokemon were recalled, and some vines grabbed one of the poachers before he could call out another pokemon, but one did call out a third pokemom.
"Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsian" the new pokemon said.
"Persian, use fury swipes!" the poacher ordered, and Kasumi's Meowth suddenly darted out.
"Wait, I don't know any of your attacks yet!" Kasumi called out. At the last possible moment, Meowth leaped up above Persians fury swipes, and used it's own fury swipes, striking the back of Persians head over and over again, then landed on Persians back and started using bite over and overagain. Persian tried to buck off Meowth, but the spunky, smaller pokemon had dug in it's claws and wasn't letting go.
"It looks like your Meowth isn't needing orders" Ren commented as the repeted bites made Persian fall down, and Meowth used Fury swipes a second time to make sure it stayed down.
Ren mentally moved more vines to tie up the second poacher as soon as he recalled his Persian as an Aggron came out of the tree's "This guy will watch you until the authorities come for you" Ren explained to the poachers, indicating the Aggron.
Kasumi picked up her Meowth and started following Ren back to the meeting place they'd agreed to. If Ren was giving up the search here then apparently Ren had gotten into the head of one of the poachers and learned that what they were seeking was not here.

"I'm here!" Ginji yelled as he wandered out of a teleporter event horizon and into the city. "Now where exactly mis here..." he looked down and asked Larvitar.
Suddenly someone bumped up against his shoulder, carrying a large crate. On impact the box broke, revealing a bound Bidoof. "Poachers." Ginji growled as the man started running off into the crowded city streets.

*I search around town, and after a while I check near the contest hall*
Me: Now what is this?
*I see a couple of guys hanging in the shadows near the back seeming to be counting something*
?1: Too bad the Lopunny was taken before we got there.
?2: I know what ye mean. But this egg haul ain't bad. I just hope these eggs come out to be something better than a Bidoof.
?1: No kiddin'
Me: I don't think you're supposed to have those.
?1: Crap, someone's on to us.
?2: Guess we'll just have to silence him.
Me: Go ahead and try.
*I pull out some PokeBalls*

Arekku arrived several hours later due to complications. "I'm here!" He called, to let Brian know he'd shown up.
He looked around, searching for a Lopunny, but instead finding two "out of place" people, a man and a woman. He eyed them suspiciously.
"Hey! Wait!" He heard two children call out. Arekku spun around, watching two people running towards a wooded area. "Oh no you don't! Go Brant!" He called on his Mienfoo, tossing that Attack Ball. The pumped Mianfoo blocked their way.
"Heh! Go Shelgon!" The guy called, starting a battle.

"Stop!" Ginji yelled as he sprinted after the poacher. "By the power of Light I bind you!" he spelled as golden arrows of light bound the man to the concrete. The man jerked into place and grabbed for his Pokeballs. "So it's going to be the difficult way isn't it?" Ginji smirked, reaching for his own ball.
"Larvitar! Thrash!" Ginji yelled as the small green Pokemon attacked the Weezing that popped out of the poacher's pokeball. The Weezing responded with a Smog, covering the field in a poisonous haze. Larvitar continued to Thrash about, doing massive damage to the floating heads. The poisonous Pokemon coughed up a lung before turning a bright white color and Exploding. "Larvitar, act fast, we don't want the townsfolk to be hurt!" Ginji yelled as the green Pokemon jumped into the air and towards the blast, effectively shielding the surroundings. Sadly, Larvitar fainted in the act of self-sacrifice and Ginji had to return the Pokemon.
"Lopuny! Come forth!" The poacher yelled as an eloquent bunny Pokemon fell from the top of a tower, a black ring around its neck and red dots where its eyes should have been.
"This doesn't look good..." Ginji frowned as he thought about which Pokemon to use. Too much power would hurt Lopuny and too little wouldn't be able to break the ring.
"Pory! Let's do it!" Ginji yelled as the crazed Porygon-Z appeared and used a simple Charged Beam to take out the collar on Lopunny's neck, breaking it instantly. As the Lopunny fell to the ground in exhaustion, the police strolled up and took the poacher away. "Well... so much for the climatic ending..." Ginji smirked as he thanked the officer Jennys and Porygon-Z.

"Brent! Use Bulk Up!" He called, the Pokemon concentrating it's energy into it's muscles to raise it's physical Attack and Defense.
"Shelgon use Zen Headbutt!" The attack connected, but didn't hurt Brent too much.
"Brent, use your Drain Punch attack!" The Pokemon ran forward, jumping toward the Shelgon, bashing it in the side, draining a lot of energy from the foe.
"Shelgon! Retaliate with Dragonbreath!" A bright green flame erupted from the Pokemon's mouth, scorching Brent's body, luckily not causing paralysis.
"Use your Jump Kick!" The Mienfoo jumped into the air, landing a harsh kick on the top of the Shelgon, taking it out.
"Urgh! Go Vibrava and Skiploom!" The man called.
"Trying two on one, huh? Even up the battle Brandy!" A Meowth appeared from the ball. "Brandy! Water Pulse to Vibrava! Brent, Poison Jab to Skiploom!" The both went out with their commanded attacks, Skiploom fainting almost right away, but Vibrava hung on for a while.
"Vibrava, use your Earthquake!" Vibrava took hold of the ground and buzzed his wings so hard it caused a small Earthquake, hurting Brent and Brandy harshly.
"Brandy, Night Slash! Brent, Drain Punch!" He commanded, the Pokemon attacking, knocking out the enemy. The Poacher tried to run away but Brandy cut him off, tackling him to the ground.
Another man stepped up, "Your Pokemon would bring in some good profits"
Arekku glared, "I dare you to try..." He spat.
Arekku returned Brandy and Brent to get them away from the Poachers.
"Go Crobat, Granbull and Swellow!" He tossed the Pokeballs, "A Triple Battle."
Arekku's eyes widened slightly, "Fine."
"Take them on Hevan, Mama, and Barry!" He called out his Heracross, shiny Banette, and Stunfisk."
"Swellow! Arial Ace! Crobat, Cross Poison! Granbull, Take Down!"
All of the attacks connected, not doing too much, but still doing enough to hurt. "Hevan! Shadow Ball to Crobat! Barry Close Combat to Granbull! Mama Thunderbolt to Swellow!" He called, the attacks hitting, Granbull and Swellow fainting right away. "Do not threaten my Pokemon..."
The man backed up, trying to call back his Pokemon, "Oh no you don't! Hevan, Shadow Sneak to block the ray!" Hevan disappeared and reappeared, knocking the Pokeball away from the Poacher, "Mama! Thunderbolt! Barry Rock Slide!" Both attacks hit and fainted the Crobat.
"Now go, and if I ever see you again... let's just say you don't want to see me again." Arekku growled.

Me: This is stereotypical. Sharpedo, Mode, go!
*My Sharpedo and Alakazam emerge from their Pokeballs*
*Both sides of the field get Intimidated*
Me: Psychic and Zen Headbutt Weezing.
*Before Weezing can even react, its leaking fumes and down on the ground*
P2: Man this blows.
P1: Crunch the mustache!
*Mode is hurt badly by the jaw snapping, but still stands*
P2: Go Victreebel!
Me: Sweet. Earthquake and Protect.
*Mode Protects himself as Sharpedo hits the ground hard, KOing Arbok and hurting Victreebel hard*
P1: Arg, Wobbafett go!
^The blue punching bag appears*
Me: You know those things are just annoying, right? Ice Fang and Psychic the plant.
*Victreebel goes down in an icy, mind altering hit*
P1: Use Encore on the Alakazam!
*Mode is keeping his eyes ablaze*
P2: Cacturn, go!
Me: I see what you did there... Well, nothings changed, kill the plant.
*Sharpedo bites Cacturn, and Mode just does nothing really*
P2: Needle Arm.
*Sharpedo goes down without much of a fight*
P1: Counter... I guess.
*Wobbafett does nothng*
Me: Attack, go!
*Deoxys in its attack form appears*
Me: Superpower.
*The cactus goes down, hard*
Me: Now Psychic the blue one!
*Mode hits it*
P1: Mirror Coat.
*The attack is reflected back, and Mode goes down*
Me: Shadow Ball.
*Wobbafett goes down*
P1: Sleviper go!
Me: Psychic!
*A strange distrotion of time and space kos the snake as it comes out*
Me: I'll be taking those eggs.
