"...Shut up." She didn't need to be reminded she was even related to someone so weak. "Is there ever a time of day you aren't full of sickening happiness?! Shut up, Shut up, Shut! Up! " There was never a time of day he wasn't smiling, and showering people with his happy little smile! Gods, it was so annoying. Aria was the opposite of him, though, showering people with hateful words and malicious eyes. "I'll be better when i'm as far away from you two as possible. Do you think I want your company? Or your help? I want nothing to do with any of you. Get that through your happy little brain. " How did Reiner find that charming? He must of been the strangest boy alive. " If you think talking nice to me is going to change anything, you are dreaming. Also, I'm not going to eat with you two. " She muttered something under her breath. "Do what you want. Just don't involve me. " She turned away, swiftly heading for the doorway to leave the mansion and it's two annoying occupants. "Ahhh come on, Reiner. Can't you see she wants nothing to do with you, or us? It's best to let her go do her own thing. You're niceness is your own enemy, you know! I mean...sure it's great to nice nice to people, but being to kind isn't very good, you will easily get fooled, used or hurt. Mentally, that is. You gotta learn to be tough too! " She didn't mean to lecture him, but sometimes it couldn't be helped! He was reeling himself in to get hurt by the meanest girl they knew, besides Aria's younger sister, another terror.

Javik Strife Blocking Aria's exit, though, was a darkly-dressed young man who had apparently arrived along with the three, making the Mirage trio into a quartet. Crossing his arms, he gave Aria a look. "Listen, princess. We don't know why we're here or what we have to expect out there. Like it or not, the four of us need to stick together.""Javik! A glorious day, isn't it!""...And I don't necessarily like it, either." What a coincidence that there were two guys, two girls, and two happy, two angry. Though Javik here wasn't quite as angry as Aria."You can hit me if that would make you feel better, Aria."Javik sighed. "Surely we can all act like adults here. Come on, Aria. It won't be that bad." He was more accustomed to dealing with energetic people than she was, perhaps. She was a bit anti-social...Reiner put his hands on his hips as he addressed Lily. "I am more than tough, I'll have you know. I'm serious when the need to be serious arises. But otherwise, I don't see the point in treating hatred in kind. Sometimes, all someone needs is an extended hand to pull them from the darkness. I'll weather a thousand harsh words and a million more angry looks with my hand extended if that's what it takes to help someone. That's who I am, and if it means I get fooled, used, or hurt, then so be it." He seemed to be quite adamant about that. He certainly must have gotten that stubbornness from somewhere... "I appreciate your concern, though. You're as thoughtful as you are cute, and that's no small accomplishment!" He showed her that steady, sincere smile once again. He certainly wasn't trying to flatter or flirt with her--just saying what he sincerely believed, as he always did. (( OOC: ))

    "How many times do I have to say it.." She felt like this might of been the hundredth time she told someone NOT to call her that. To many silly things really got under that skin of hers. Even the word princess! As if calling exactly what she was, was an extreme insult. "We really don't. " She stepped forward, looking him dead in the eyes. "Move. Or would you rather I make you? " Would she really start a fight moments after they literally came into existence? Probably. Though that was hardly going to help them in the situation they were in. "God.." Just hearing Reiners happy voice was like nails to the chalkboard to her ears. He was just ...way..to..happy! Taking her attention from Javik, Aria returned her irritated gaze to the smiling face of Reiner. "..Will that wipe away that smile from your face? Then maybe I will. " She REALLY wanted to, but would she really do it, with those two here? ..Probably not. She may look like she wanted to kill everyone she met, but they knew her pretty well, enough to know she was a whole lot of talk rather then actions, when it came to everyone. Enemies on the other hand, was a whole different story. "It already is. " She said with narrowed eyes.
"..Yeah, sure! Of course...but that is only if it's someone who wants to reach for that hand, and trust me, Aria isn't one of those people." No matter how hard he wanted to believe that she would one day seek his kindness, it was most definitely not going to happen. She had always been very cold, even as a child. Lily sighed heavily, this made her feel like a heartless beast or something! She couldn't show the kindness Reiner did. "You just worry me to much..You're to kind.." Still, she put up a smile to his compliment, she couldn't deny his truthful words, she really was cute! "Just be careful, cute, friendly prince of kindness! ' She said with a playful grin. Glancing off to the other two, Lily had to wonder, was it even safe to stay in here? "Um, so...if were in the past..and everyone comes in here..won't they like, freak out and kick us out? Maybe we should get out of here, Nero did say we shouldn't interfere, right? "

  "Uh... probably not? But you never know until you try!" Reiner was a little too optimistic about things, it seemed. Even things like this... "Think about it this way, Aria: if you come eat with us, you can insult the food after we're done. "I've had better dog food," or something like that, right? Huh? I know you like doing that."Javik sighed, shaking his head. "Sounds like something my father would say." When he was trying to act cool, at least. ...Which of course was entirely accurate. "You're not going to make me, Aria. But we can smack each other around a bit if that'll make you feel better. But I won't hold back." He was certainly the type who enjoyed a good workout, though he knew she was unlikely to actually want to fight. She was just bluffing, and he'd call her on it. "Don't be so overdramatic," Javik said with a small sigh. "A little optimism isn't so bad. ...In moderation. Which these two don't know the meaning of. But... it could be worse. Probably. Maybe." He wasn't sure HOW it could be worse, exactly, but it PROBABLY could be worse. Maybe."You don't know that," Reiner pointed out, showing some amount of wisdom, at least. "Those who need it the most fool everyone else, and especially themselves, into believing that they don't. It would be easy to just say everyone who's mean is blackhearted and that's it, but I don't want to look at the world in such simple terms. Everyone deserves..." He blinked, laughing a bit and shaking his head, showing that steady smile once again. "Sorry! Sometimes I ramble too much." He was certainly passionate on the subject, it seemed. "I am really not as nice as you seem to believe! In fact, I... oh! A spider!" There seemed to be a particularly large spider crawling around on the floor. To emphasize his point, surely Reiner planned to just squash it, didn't he? ...No. In fact, he knelt down, holding out his hand and letting the spider crawl onto his hand. "...It's so cute." He stood back up, moving his hand around with the spider crawling around it curiously. "Serenitians can talk to animals like this, right? I'm so jealous..." Who else in the universe thought spiders were cute? And could Serenitians even talk to these sorts of animals? You know, maybe Lily should take him calling her cute as an insult, if he also called a spider cute.Javik sighed, practically facepalming at the prince and his apparent new, eight-legged friend. "...If we keep our identities secret, I don't think it should be a problem, Lily." He responded, lowering his hand from his face to his hip. "This place is a haven for off-worlders. We can pass for off-worlders and be allowed to stay, I assume. The two of you are Serenitian, so it should be easy for you. And Reiner is..."Ah, I shall call you... Sir Octo-Leg!""...Clearly some sort of alien." He said with a flat expression. "...My parents are from this world, but it should be fine... Not like anything gives me away." He crossed his arms. "Will they be able to tell you two are related to them?" He didn't know the extent of the power of Serenitian senses, but he assumed they wouldn't be able to tell without being informed of the connection first. Maybe it would just feel familiar, but that would be it.(( OOC: ))

   Lily crossed her arms, flopping herself down into the plush white sofa. "Ariaaaaaaaaaaaa. You're making me look like the villain here. " She was the only one who didn't seem to enjoy Aria's company. She enjoyed being around happy people, not ones that seemed they would rip her apart just for looking at her! She was a scary girl. She was all for helping people, but with how terribly RUDE Aria was to her anytime she ran into her, she really didn't feel like instant forgiveness and bowing down was necessary. "I like helping people too! Don't think I'm some evil hateful person, but I got feelings too! And she loves to burn everyone of them down.." She was just a really big bully!
"...Right. It will be the highlight of my life. " She replied with the most bored tone ever. "Whatever....You realize you are just a human? I could make you move with little effort. " But, instead, she moved away from him, stepping back into the living room to distance herself from Javik. "You two are making me sick with that annoying talk." She was like, right there. It was hard not to hear Reiner and Lily's talk of people, like her, needing helping hands. What a laughable joke! Next came his spider rescue, to which earned him a roll of her eyes. "Ugh..." Lily could feel the tingles crawl all over her body at the sight of the harry little spider Reiner so eagerly picked up. "It's not a puppy, you know. What if it's venomous? " He should at least take a better look of the spider before picking it up, right?! "Err..some can. Not everyone have that deep of a connection to living creatures. Mostly it's animals, but there are some who can talk to insects too..I never felt the need to try, though I do think lady bugs are cute! And butterflies! ...maybe I should try. But not with that..Nope, not ever. I can see it's eyes staring at me!! " Not really, but it sure felt like they were.
Finally, taking her eyes off the creepy spider Reiner was loving on, Lily glanced back into Javik's direction. "..Ahaha...For you and Reiner it may be easy to keep secret. But I don't know about mine, or hers. They don't know about us, so that helps. They wouldn't have any real reason to suspect such a bizarre thing, right? I can try to mask my presence a bit around them, too..I just can't ..chaaange.." She frowned, if she changed, into her wolf form, it would be a pretty easy give away at that point. And she rather enjoyed her wolfie form!

"Er, I wasn't doubting your generosity." Reiner said after a blink. Maybe Reiner just had a higher tolerance for rudeness than most people, which was a bit surprising since everyone in his family was generally quite kind and agreeable. His father was a bit bad at socializing, and his mother was certainly easily excitable, but neither were unkind. And his sister was also very nice, as was he. What a nice happy family they were!"...Ugh." Javik glanced away for a moment as Lily flopped down as she did, a slight color to his face. "You really should be more careful of how you move in that outfit, Lily." Her skirt wasn't exactly long, and had a tendency to wave around a bit, especially when she did things like that... It wasn't the most obvious thing ever--she likely hadn't even noticed--but he certainly did. Though one could ask, how did he notice, unless his eyes were already wandering? ...Or maybe he was just observant. Who knew."Hmm? What's wrong with her outfit? I think it's rather cute." Clearly he was the only male in the room who caught it."..." Javik didn't feel like dignifying that with an answer. So he would respond to Aria instead. "Try me, princess." He responded simply to her thin threat. "We'll see how many racist comments you can make after I put you on the floor." Despite the spitting fire at each other they seemed to be doing, they clearly didn't actually hate each other. ...Well, at least not enough to actually fight, if so. Who knew though, maybe they would end up in a brawl at some point."Do you need some medicine? I can use my staff to heal you, if you think it's serious." Did Reiner ever understand sarcasm? "It's true though, Aria. If you ever need me for anything, just call my name, and I'll come running with the wind at my back and a sword at my side. Whether you need an ear to listen or a sword to protect, I'm glad to lend mine.""Good for you, Romeo. But I don't think Juliet is going to be very receptive to that kind of talk. Do you just assume all girls like being protected?""Huh? It has nothing to do with gender. I would lend my aid to you too, if you needed it, Javik."Javik rolled his eyes in response. "How thoughtful." He said sarcastically."No problem!" That elicited a sigh from Javik, but it was a bit difficult to be mean to Reiner, so he would let it stop there. Even just saying unkind things to the eternal optimist was difficult, but trying to explain that you were actually being mean to him just made it more trouble than it was worth. Reiner probably didn't get bullied much for similar reasons. Also being a prince probably helped.
"Right, the only puppy here is you!" That was true, she did have the ability to turn into a wolf. "Aria is venomous too, but I enjoy being around her!" Was that a joke Reiner just made? Well, it still didn't exactly address the concern of Lily's, but oh well. You only live once. "What?... Do you really not think it's cute? Look at all those eyes, and its cute face!" Reiner's definition of cute was a bit odd, it seemed. Then again, so was he."...Spiders aren't insects. They're arachnids." Oh boy, Javik was really going to be "that guy," wasn't he."Goodness, listen to Sir Semantics over here!""How is that semantic? They're two different things! That's like calling a dog a lion, that's not semantic. What, just because they're both animals they're the same things? No!" Someone sure was passionate."I feel as though this analogy is a bit off...""No, okay. Insects have six legs, arachnids have eight. Furthermore, insects have wings and arachnids don't. They're literally not even a little similar. Spiders are not insects. That's like, the stupidest thing I've ever heard.""If you could hear yourself speak right now, that might cease to be the case.""What?!""Oh come now, it's a joke! No need to be so uptight." Reiner was in quite the mood today, poking slight fun at both Aria with the venom joke and Javik now.Javik once again found himself sighing with a shake of his head, but he moved on to addressing Lily again. "Why not? It can't be that bizarre for another person with a wolf form to exist. I mean, sure, you have your mother's hair, and those ears, along with the wolf form, but it would be an absurd leap of logic for either of them to assume you were their child. I don't think you have to hide that if you don't want to, but it's up to you.""You and Aria both have attractive pointed ears, maybe you could pose as sisters to make them less likely to figure things out.""Yes, I'm sure that would work out great..." Aria and Lily, pretending to be sisters. That would be QUITE the sight. It honestly wasn't a bad idea, if the two had been more likely to be willing, but obviously they wouldn't be. "I don't think it's necessary, anyway. There shouldn't be any precedent for time traveling, or... whatever we did. They would have to be incredibly perceptive to begin to pick up on it. Which... I suppose Reiner's father is, but with no precedent it's still lunacy to assume something like that.""Yes... Though my father is very difficult to trick, it would be absurd to assume any of us were from a time that has yet to come. I believe everything will be fine, as long as we act natural. You're both Serenitian, so they should allow you entry anyway, and Javik and I can pull our own weight even if they didn't believe we were from another world." Though with Reiner's garb and speech, along with his magical sword obviously not native to this world, it shouldn't be too hard to sell that in his case. But Avalanche wasn't known for shrewdness, so it was unlikely they'd ask for any proof, anyway.(( OOC: ))

Lily's attention was drawn to Javik before she could say anything in response, her cheeks turning very red as she quickly glanced down at her skirt. Sure, it was short,but what he didn't know was the short shorts she wore under that skirt, in a dark blue so it blended in well and became unnoticeable with the skirt covering that bit. "GRRR...Do you want me to bite you? Because I will, no ones here, I don't mind changing JUST to bite you, you pervert! You must'a been looking already to notice anything! Javik's a pervy peeper!!" She stuck out her tongue at him. "Do you look at La'riah everytime she sits down too?? " She asked with a grin. She would win this! ..Maybe.
"...I'm not one who will ever ask or beg for help. I can handle my own. " His kindness was over the top, and difficult for her to show any appreciation towards, though it wasn't all to bad, if she really was so appalled by his kind offer of help, she would of most likely completely ignored him. He got a small response from her, which was more then a lot of people got! He should consider himself lucky! Then, came the spider friend of Reiner's life, and she just gave him the most blankest stare ever that would soon drift on to Javik. "...You two are so boring.." She returned her stare to Reiner. "If you want that INSECT to live, you should put it outside, or else it won't live long. No one here wants a spider infestation. " Tough, rude Aria was afraid of spiders, who knew?
"Um, anyway.." Enough of the spider talk, she was starting to feel things crawling on her skin! "I don't know, maybe you're right there, but still. I feel like we need to be extra careful..I don't want to..you know, be responsible for ruining the future...or something! "
Lily glanced off toward Aria, turning her nose up and crossing her arms. "I-don't-think-so. Sissters...Hahahaha!!! Besides, I'm far to cute to be confused as HER sister. " "You mean, you're to annoying and stupid to be confused as my sister. " "What did you say?!??" "Exactly. So stupid she can't hear properly. "

"Ha! That reaction is so one hundred percent guilty! GUILTY! How does it feel to be such a perv? " Lily really enjoyed getting under peoples skin, even friends! It didn't matter who they were, if she could get even a small rise out of a person, she would be satisfied! "AHH.. Reiner, how do you not get that? You should spend more time with me, I'll teach you everything you need to know." She grinned. More like, she would corrupt his innocence with knowledge!
"It is a disgusting insect, weirdo. " She snapped right back at Javik! Next, her attention returned back to the spider whisperer. "It's hurting my eyes just seeing it's ugly body sitting there....on your shoulder.." Where did he even get his love for these disgusting bugs from? His mother would likely scream if she seen one on her!
"You know, Nero didn't exactly say how long we are supposed to keep our identities secret to them.." It could be months until they were able to say anything, if not longer! "...On the bright side, I guess we can look at this like one big party of just us kids, with no parents in the way! What do you think? What should we do that we normally couldn't do back in..uh, home..? " She was the best influence, wasn't she!
Lily's arms crossed again, shooting a glare into Reiner's direction. "In noo world will I pretend to be her sister. Not gonna happen! " " For the first time, you've said something I can agree with.." "Ugh, shut up!"

There were probably plenty of things he didn't understand, but he was a teenage male, so despite how innocent they saw him as, he wasn't entirely so. "...Whoa...You guessed it right the first time? I'm SO shocked. Your mind isn't all one-hundred percent purity after all! " She really was kind of shocked, despite how much it sounded like she was actually just teasing him.
"Heehee. I think I touched a nerve. Javie is maaaad! Mad with guilt! " She grinned mischievously. "Or do you just need to cool down a bit? " Javik would feel something VERY cold, fall into the back of his shirt. She wasn't pro with creating tiny icicles yet, but what she could create was just enough for these kinds of entertaining pranks!
"...I'll pass on that strange offer." PET a spider? No, she would most definitely kill it. He didn't know who he was asking to pet the disgusting creature it seemed!

The wolfie side of her really enjoyed the freedom of running around, which seemed to be the very reason even in this human form, she could barely sit still for five minutes. "As much as it pains me to agree with her...Maybe something more exciting will come up, like a good fight with some monster infestations...or something. " She didn't seem to think swimming in a pool was all to fun right now, unfortunately! ..Not to mention she didn't even have a swim suit.

He would have to be pretty ridiculously bad at comprehension to not realize what she was talking about! ...Which he was sometimes, but still. "How exactly would you teach me about that...? I'm certainly flattered, Lily, but I wouldn't want to ruin our friendship..." Yes, clearly she had those sorts of intentions!"You should just let her do what she wants, Reiner. I don't think any other girl will ever want to do anything perverted with you. Take the opportunity while you can." Javik crossed his arms. "Only girl who would want to be with you would be someone annoying and desperate. Like Lily." What a not dysfunctional group this was."What! I'll have you know one girl has expressed clear interest in me once! Twice, maybe? Well, at least once! Romantic interest, even!""...Right. And who would this girl be? A little girl with a crush doesn't count, you know.""...You... wouldn't know her! I barely know her! She's-- you've never met! She's as far away from this specific room as she could possibly be, physically!" Reiner was such a good liar. Question was, what truth was the lie covering, that there wasn't a girl, or that there was?"...Uh huh. Girls don't really like guys like you. Pretty much ever. Your personality is bad enough, but your weird friendship with a spider isn't doing you any favors.""Hmm, do you think you're mean to other people because of some past trauma you experienced? We can discuss it if you want.""Stop! Being nice! In response! To people being mean! God! That's exactly what I'm talking about! Girls like guys who don't take insults and smile at the person! Ugh." This was probably the most pointless discussion he had ever had. He knew this aspect of Reiner wasn't something that would change, but still, it was pretty annoying. He didn't really take the anger bait when people insulted him like most would. "...! Ugh, and also, your ice trick isn't cute, stupid dog." Javik was typically pretty level-headed, but once he started to get irritated, it was like a snowball rolling down a hill, just getting bigger and bigger. "I'm surrounded by idiots..."
After fiddling with his shirt enough to get any ice out, he turned his attention to the irritating blue one again. "She really is like a dog, needs to be taken out for walks several times a day." Had to get in that exercise!"Oh, come on, I think a pool party could..." Then Aria put in her two cents, and Reiner paused a moment. "...Mm, all right! Let's go to the city.""Seriously? These two want to go and you're just all on-board now?" Well, that wasn't entirely accurate. It was more specific, but Javik didn't realize that."I'm sure it'll be fun. Probably? Only one way to find out!" Reiner led the way towards the door, and after a moment, Javik decided he'd follow along. If everyone else was, he probably should too, to make sure nothing bad happened. He did say the four of them should stick together.
As Reiner led the group out of the mansion, he turned to face the three as he spoke. "This should be interesting. And I'm sure the citizens in this time will be just as kind and fun to be around as-!" He bumped into someone from walking backwards like he was, causing him to almost fall over backwards, but he caught himself. "Oh! My mistake, I-" As Reiner turned, he felt his shirt grabbed roughly, as the civilian he bumped into bared his teeth in anger.
"You little s**t! You know who I am?! I should cut that pretty face into pieces!!"
Just as kind and fun to be around indeed. Reiner didn't seem terribly scared, though. "Come now, there's no need to take things so far. Are you in a poor mood due to some workplace incident, or perhaps some unresolved feelings from a childhood memory? If you'd like to talk, I-"
"Don't ******** analyze me! I pay people to do that! You know what? I'm gonna-?!" The man shrieked as he released Reiner, covering one of his hands and taking several steps backwards. Uncovering his hand for a moment to assess what had happened, and he as well as the four there would see a rather large, and rather terrible-looking spider-bite. "Wh... what the..."
"Oh, my apologies!" The spider crawled up Reiner's leg as he spoke, and soon up his torso and finally perching itself on his shoulder once again. "That was Sir Octo-Leg. I think it believed you intended to harm me. I can pay for a hospital visit, if-"
"You'll have to pay for your own when I-" The man stepped aggressively towards Reiner again, but in the corner of his eye, he saw the spider raise up rather aggressively in response, seeming ready to attack if he continued. "...Sh-s**t, just watch where you're ******** going next time!" The man took a nervous step backwards, keeping his eyes on the spider as he did, before turning and taking hurried steps away.
"All right, it was nice meeting you!" Reiner turned to look at his friends once again, placing his hands on his hips as he wore his typical steady smile. "Well, you were right, Aria--exciting things are already happening! I should listen to you more often." Apparently she wasn't right about getting rid of the spider, though. Now that the apparent threat was gone, Sir Octo-Leg perched itself down on Reiner's shoulder once again, and if spiders had readable expressions, one could assume it would look very satisfied with itself right now."You're a ******** freak with that spider.""Why, thank you!""How could you possibly interpret that as a compliment...?" Sometimes he could understand misunderstanding sarcasm, but that wasn't even sarcasm!(( OOC: ))

"Can you two stop talking about such ridiculousness?! " She was about to rip Lily's head off, and she might get the clue the moment she realized Aria was staring at her with those vicious narrowed eyes. "And you.." She turned to Javik now, the same angry eyes now locked onto him. "You need to shut up. What do you know anyway? You are hardly perfect.." She didn't spend enough time with him to know his relationship status, really, it wasn't a concern to her, though now she kind of wish she did know. If he was with no one, it would give her some fuel to insult him right back.
"...You're such a boring person. What do I have to do to get you angry? " Anyone else would have been fuming mad! "Idiot! " She stomped right on over to him, trying to be as tall as possible, which really..looked pretty silly. She was almost no taller then Hiyori. "Say that again, jerk-face! " Her real goal wasn't actually trying to intimidate him by getting closer, it was really to let a little magic flow, he wouldn't feel anything, though at the bottoms of his feet, the flooring had become a thin layer of pure icy slick, it only went on just far enough for his first few steps to cause him to slip and possibly slide in the slippery ice, as Lily took a quick step away and out of his reach. Perfectly timed as Reiner started out the door with Aria in tow. Lily would soon follow along, turning only a moment after in hopes to see him slip!
Finally, after they all were outside the mansion, Aria let out an annoyed sigh. No less then five seconds and Reiner was already getting himself into trouble! Rather it was his fault or not, though, Aria couldn't stand to see how this pathetic human was treating Reiner, such a thing was just not allowed. Also not allowed...was a mere insect, the lowest of the low, getting it's glorious moment of protecting Reiner! How dare it! "..Uh huh....Wait here. " Before he could think much on what she said, Aria was already hurrying after the man who thought he could put his filthy hands on Reiner. She moved very fast in the next few seconds, fast enough that nether of her friends could stop her if they tried. The flat side of her spear would come slamming into the back of the mans back, causing enough pain to stun him a few moments as she reached out to grab him roughly, and pulled him back so that she could throw him down onto his back. There, the pointed end of her spear was set directly over his chest, and something would coil itself around his neck like a snake, he would find...breathing was not so easy as it was a second ago! "Remember this face, a*****e. Next time you try to lay a hand on my ..friend...I will cut out your pathetic heart. Got it?! " Yes, very exciting things were happening in less then five minutes of stepping outside!

Reiner flinched a bit as Aria responded to their chatter in the way that she did. He was surprised, he hadn't expected her to interject, much less in the way that she did. She almost seemed jealous... But regardless, that deathly glare she wore that would terrify most, well, Reiner just found it to be really cute. He really wanted to pat her on the head right now, but... he would refrain. "Right! Sorry, Aria. I suppose it was a bit of an odd topic. I don't blame either of you for being uncomfortable." Right, that was the reason she responded the way she did..."What's your problem? When did you get all protective over Reiner of all people? Don't you make fun of happy-go-lucky people all the time yourself? I thought you hated Reiner." Back in the day that was probably true, but... well..."Well, I doubt she's trying to defend me. Maybe she just wanted to insult you for fun." He knew better than that, but still, Javik didn't."Yeah, guess that makes more sense." Seemed to be an acceptable answer to him.
Crossing his arms, Javik gave Lily an unimpressed look. "You know, you're cute when you're mad. Not unlike a barking puppy. You want a treat?" He uncrossed his arms. "And also, sorry to disappoint, but I see your stupid magic. Who would fall for your tricks?" When the time came to actually move, though, Javik glanced down nervously, and took a slow step forward, trying to cover a lot of distance with the step, though once he leaned his weight onto the foot, well, it sure was slick. With a thud and a grunt, his back hit the floor. Oh, boy. And even after he had called her out on it. "...That was on purpose! I just- I fell for you!" It didn't register what he had said until a few seconds had passed, and slight color came to his face. "No, wait, that's- that sounds weird, I didn't- that's not what I meant! I mean, I fell to make you feel better!" He sighed, covering his face as he laid there in shame. "Ugh..." He really didn't feel like getting up at this point. He felt defeated and humiliated here! Though he did kinda deserve it after insulting both Reiner and Lily. Could things even get worse for his humiliation at this point?"What- Aria, wait- oh, dear..." Reiner tugged on his collar with a bit of discomfort as he saw her stride forward with purpose. He had a strange feeling he knew what was about to happen... And it wasn't the first time.
And indeed, he witnessed her protective instincts kick in as she rather aggressively made the man aware of her discontentment, to put it lightly. The man's face turned rather pale, and he seemed to be a little too scared to respond. Reiner waited a moment before coming up beside Aria, placing a hand gently on her polearm's shaft, and another gently on her shoulder. "I think he gets the message. Shall we put away the pointy sticks for now?" Reiner could have quite the calming presence at times, and given this man seemed to pose no threat, he thought he could disarm the situation well enough. In the event she backed off, the man would hurriedly get to his feet, taking a step backwards. "I hope that one day, we can all be friends and laugh about this."
"I'll only be laughing when I'm standing over your ******** grave, freak!"
"Oh come now, there's no need to exaggerate. Besides, I'm not particularly abnormal."
"You too, but her especially. ******** freak!"
"...What did you say?" Reiner's tone dropped flat.
"You deaf or something? You see that tail, those horns? She's a ******** demon or something. An abomination! I'll make the world a better place when I cut her head off her sh-" This poor guy really didn't know to quit when he was ahead, did he?
The kindhearted young prince was perfectly fine with being insulted and even threatened. It didn't bother him. But the sudden, rather harsh-sounding punch he delivered to the man's face showed that didn't necessarily apply when you insulted and especially threatened Aria. Indeed, nothing made his blood boil more than someone insulting her for what she was, and he wouldn't stand for her being threatened. "I think not." He said, his tone a rare serious, and aggressive. The man covered his now bleeding nose as he was once again put down to the ground. Reiner positioned himself in front of Aria instinctively after striking the man. "What you're going to do is leave this place and forget our faces. Otherwise..." He leaned down slightly, putting on a kind smile. "I'll cut off your hands and use them to clap while I watch my "friend" cut out your heart like she promised." Something about that kind smile juxtaposed with his words seemed to really get under the man's skin, and he backed up in a hurry with a rather terrified noise, before standing and taking off in a dead sprint away from the two lovebirds.
"Nice meeting you." Reiner said politely to no one as he stood back up."I think you're rubbing off on me a little, love..." He said to Aria as he turned to face her now. "Or should I call you "friend"? Ahaha... You're so cute, you know that? I didn't expect you to be so protective. Just more things to love about you." How many people would listen to someone threaten to cut someone's heart out, then call them cute? Reiner certainly was a bit odd. But they had that in common, it seemed. He glanced past her, noting that both Javik and Lily were still in the mansion, with their attention not outside. Likely due to Javik being on the floor and Lily laughing, or whatever she would be doing. Reiner leaned forward, his hand finding its way to the back of her head and holding her there to keep her from retreating, as he...! Placed a quick kiss on her nose, before leaning back. "Don't worry, no one's watching." Those two seemed distracted enough to steal a moment of brief romance. "Sorry about all that. I know that's not like me, I just get agitated when people are unkind to you." He didn't figure she was the type to like being protected either, but it was just instinctive for him. "I wasn't being serious, anyway. I wouldn't want to dismember anyone. Or cut out their heart, for that matter. I would just rather he not bother you again." She PORBABLY didn't need him to explain that he wasn't ACTUALLY thinking about cutting his hands off, considering this was Reiner. But he had a tendency to explain the obvious at times, it seemed. "...Lily and Javik are enjoyable company, but it's a bit disappointing to not have been brought alone, just the two of us. It would be nice to have more moments to ourselves." Their relationship was a well-kept secret, and it was a bit exciting on its own to keep it secret. But it would have been interesting to be alone in a world where no one knew them, at least for a time. Oh well, this was fine. They were great at keeping things a secret anyway!(( OOC: ))

"Good.." She said with a satisfied look on her face, as if he was just so easy to order around! ...He really was, his kindness, and their unique relationship made him even easier to fall into place, it seemed he was almost willing to do anything she wanted to do, if it pleased her! Not that she would ever really take advantage of him that way, she did put on quite the show at times, to throw others off from ever suspecting something was going on between them..because that was such a horrible thing!
Turning to Javik, Aria fell silent for a moment. "You're a real idiot if you think I was trying to protect him.." Well, that was as good as it would get, for once, she really didn't have all that great of a comeback.
"I-Will-Freeze-You.." She said tauntingly, glaring at him as she placed her hands on her hips, as if that made her look oh-so-serious! Finally, she would make her next move, creating a nice slick floor just for Javik's glorious feet to slip on! She was curious herself, to see if he really could avoid slipping, and, despite his hard effort to avoid such embarrassment, her moment of amusement came to pass when he fell right the heck down on his backside, causing Lily to burst out in insane laughter! She could sign up to be a super villain with that laugh of hers! Pointing as she did, he would feel the weight of her foot come down over his chest, and the snickering silly princess staring down at him. "Did big tough Javie fall down and go boom?! " She was hardly very princessy! "Huh? " It was like a little light bulb went on above her head. "You...FELL for me? Hehehehe..." He may just want to shut up at this point! "This is so fun, I'll never forget those words! My honey-bun, the only thing that made me feel GREAT is seeing your stupid-self fall on your bum! Hahahaha!!! " Yeah, he may really want to shut up, or escape her. Stepping off him finally, she waved her hand, and the icy slick sheet covering the floor started to disappear. She didn't need to get yelled at for ruining flooring!
Meanwhile, outside, there was a lot less laughter in the air. Aria really wanted to hurt the one on the ground, defenseless or not, his threats still remained in her mind, and that wasn't something she could just forget. Hurting him would ensure he didn't try anything in the future. His pale, frightened face was at least somewhat pleasing to see, though. Unfortunately she wouldn't get to do much else as she felt Reiner's hand on her shoulder suddenly, and the other on her polearm, the only thing that would stop her from making anymore threats against him. "You're to soft. Fear isn't good enough..I have to cause him pain, he NEEDS to feel pain. What happens if he decides to make a move on you in the future? Or gets his pathetic friends to help him? What then? " While she did back off a little, she was hardly pleased with just letting him go like this.
Then came the next, surprising moment between Reiner and the man. Her gentle, kind prince was full of surprises that she never would have guessed possible. She kind of fell silent as she watched him put fear into the man now, with his bleeding, hurting nose, it turned out Reiner was the one who brought pain to him, instead of her. What a change there! It was strange to watch, as her devil tail kind of flicked from side to side, as if she were happy! His rare, cold threats were stirring strange excitement in her despite knowing he would never really follow through with such terrible acts. Aria was hardly one to enjoy being protected, but when it came to Reiner protecting her, it certainly stirred those excited, silly feelings she didn't think she could ever feel!
As the man soon took off, Aria realized just how much she was actually staring at Reiner, which caused her face to suddenly turn a little shade of red! "..C-cute? ...Hardly! " So convincing, that red face of hers really didn't look to insulted at all! "..As if I would just let him get away with that..I still want to hurt him.." He just better hope she never ran into him again when she was actually alone! Her thoughts of revenge came to a quick end, as his hand came up to the back of her head, and left her in a moment of confusion. His little kiss that came next, was........so him! Rather then a more romantic kiss, she would get a cutesy kiss on her nose instead. ...It was still adorable, though. She clearly wasn't complaining! "...I don't like when people are jerks to you, ether.." Weren't they just so perfect for each other? Aww. A quiet snicker escaped the usually cold princess, did he really just explain something that silly? "..If YOU really tried to do something like that, I would find an exorcist priest to vanquish whatever demon was inside you at that point.." Because he would never do something like that, she knew that from the second those false threats came from his mouth. "Then...let's ditch them. They're still in the mansion, anyway.." She didn't wait for an answer, before reaching over and taking hold of his hand, as she began to pull him along.
