Rosy blinks a couple of times before Spinar refused to take her hand. Chewing on her lip, she was suddenly wondering what she did to upset him. Glancing back as they announce the dance off, she shakes her head before she chased after Spinar.
She was planning on explaining herself, just not in the tent.

Amphi hustled into the main rooms for prom, looking around for her date. With so many people though it was intimidating and just a bit scary.
"Ex...Excuse me..." The mermaid pushed through some people, eyes scanning over much taller forms for Junko until...
Long hair. Long beautiful hair wrapped up and the dress and...
"Junko!" She said a bit louder, waving her hands up and down. "Junko!!!" More pushing, more wandering and maybe some maneuvering and she thought a gnome just tried to feel her up....
"Junko...Hi...." The mermaid looked frazzled, "I found you!"

"Not as great as you but thank you." A necklace made entirely of beads wasn't exactly befitting nor would it look flattering around the neck of a Horseman of War but Yves kept his opinion to himself, figuring that it wasn't worth fighting with Tavi over now that the kitsune was apparently in a better mood.
Getting back up, he started to look awkward again at the pat he received on the head, eyeing the kitsune boil's hand for a few seconds before reluctantly taking hold of it. So that boil was Zel and he was Tavi's friend as the latter had said. He seemed like a good character alright so he supposed that he couldn't really object to having him come along as he allowed Tavi to drag him around for the rest of the evening. He followed quickly after the kitsune demon, certainly not wanting to run the risk of losing the other boil with the number of monsters out and about.

And then there were big, huge, giant eyes as there was mention of a dancing contest. The ghoul flicked her tail about as she stared at the boil happily. "We should try! Dancing is fun with swooping and woosh, and twirling~!" The the while she was babbling her aims waved about to emphasize the sounds she was making and ending with a glorious spin at the end.
That didn't work out so well when she apparently tripped on an invisible banana peel and fell to the ground with a resounding splat. That came from nowhere. Not that she seemed too upset as she was working to push herself back up, but it was obvious the ghoul thought this contest just sounded OH SO FUN. "Yes yes?"

Well that had been a fun little jaunt to go defeat a big bad monster dude. These gnomes were rather pesky tonight, but Belladonna was having gobs of fun so it didn't really matter. Especially considering the night was so young! There was dancing left to do, drinks left to drink and lots of other lovely things! Granted, the witch first had to find her friends first, but even that wasn't such a big deal. Belladonna was perfectly content to just wander the tent, pink eyes wide as she looked at all the people. Oh? There was a dance contest going on too? How fun would that be! She was honestly a little tuckered out, so maybe just watching would be nice... [Entering from Boss Fight~]

Dancing to different students doing scareoke was hard…but somehow Hel thought Helmut, Mot, and herself managed…until the relapses from Battle of the Bands happened. Hey! She knew that voice and— Dammit Mac stole her song. Hel was frozen in an accusatory point the entire time until he finished and then called her out. “HEY!” She protested “READ INTO THIS!” She flipped him the bird, puffing out her cheeks as she whipped about to Mot and Helmut. “Okay, fluffy rump, you are on your own now!” She informed the ghoul, rushing so that she could go throttle a certain boil. “Have fun, dance lots, go make friends…nibble on creeple’s ankles too if that is a good time for you!” She turned to Mot and saluted the reaper. “Mot, I will catch you later!” She then ran through the crowd of students, and luckily it was too hard to find Mac, who she all but leapt at, grabbing the collar of his jacket in fistfuls. “Hey! You stole my song!” She exclaimed. “Also, I am rather impressed you came on your own! I was about to come and get you! Also, we need to burn these clothes. I attended a wedding in them. Freya’s wedding. On the rental scarousel! Not only that, but Freya and Kettil both have tramp stamps!” She cried. “Locks! Also, I will return shortly, I gotta go change!” She released him, and was about to go, but then came back. “Oh ya! Belladonna really wants to meet you…so uh…ya…Uh…there she is!” Hel grabbed Mac’s wrist and dragged him right on over to the High wire Ballerina witch. “Bells!” She exclaimed once she was close enough. “This is my best friend, Mac, and Mac, this is my bosom buddy, Belladonna!” She released the psychopomp, and ruffled her own hair. “…Be right back, alright!? I gotta go change!” She then jetted off from the two, leaving poor Mac in the pretty clutches of Belladonna. [Exit]

Saiyuri
This was... exciting. Yes! Yes it was very exciting! Almost more so then venturing to the Human world. Though that would still be the most exciting thing. The Famine horseman bounced from one foot to the next, peeking over this person or that while she tried to get the best look at the tent. So this was what Prom was? Did they always use a tent like this? Look at all the Halloween folk, dressed up as... as...
"We are dressed right, aren't we?" Saiyuri asked, tilting her head up to glance at her 'date'. She was probably clinging more then was proper for a first date. Not that she would know anything about it. And as for her dress, well. It was at least a dress of sorts, just perhaps not the right style for a carnival theme.
And then there was something loud and what was that?! She squeaked gleefully, tugging on Thrain. "What is that sound! Is that supposed to be music?" Clearly, she must live under a rock. She'd not heard this type of music before! But she rather liked it.
"Do we dance? Or scout around first?"

LW
One particular she-wolf was already lurking about the big tent and smiling hugely. This was fantastic! She gave the Student Council some credit. They really put this years Prom together wonderfully! And the outfits this year.... LW was gleefully enjoying that too! For today, she was LW the gryphon lion tamer!
Now, she just had to find Ren-
"Dancing!" LW squealed excitedly, mind totally sidetracking. There was a dancing competition! Oh she was so competing! Yes.
Of course that meant she needed a partner... Jackdamnit! Where were the boils when you needed them?! kurotomato Oh where, oh were, has Ren gone now~

This idea seemed sound, but Marosa was still doubtful about the whole affair.
"Aye," He murmured in reply, not really offering a solution. "Have ye seen Sharra? Oi hope oi did nae take yer first dance away." Smoothing his collar down, Etzer pulled back his braid over his shoulder, letting out a small sigh as he entered the tent. He was still very unsure about the relationship he had with Uller, mostly due to regulations, politics, family affairs, and most of all... the fact that it was his first relationship.
He knew it wouldn't last long with Uller not being a demon, but he could have a little fun, right? Unfortunately, the frost demon hadn't counted on feelings getting in the way. He was used to playing with other people, but now that it just seemed so personal, he was sorry he'd ever brought the subject up with Uller.
He spotted Xiu first, blinking as he raised his head and glanced around to make sure his boilfriend wasn't around... and walked over to her. "You look fabulous tonight, miss Xiu," He complimented, offering a smile as he took her hand and kissed the back of it, bowing just so.

Etzer wasn't here, not yet. He knew the demon by skin color alone, because there honestly wasn't too many light blue demons running around, not with Etzer's taste in fashion. So, he just stood by a wall, looking out at the crowd. Uller's mind wandered to the bedroom, the argument he had with Etzer that had left him with a very unpleasant ache in his chest. It was odd how fast he'd latched onto the boil. Part of him thought it was to get over Tahki, but when he explained things to Etzer, he realized that wasn't true. He liked Etzer for completely different reasons than he liked Tahki.
Yes, Tahki was firmly friendzoned at this point, even if he hardly heard from her. He still hadn't since Scaretines. Oh well.
In his thoughts, he'd managed to missed Etzer coming in and looked up to see him kissing the bag of some ghoul's hand. Odd. She could be just a friend, though. Shrugging lightly, he moved closer, standing just to the side of Etzer without saying anything. He didn't want to interrupt just yet. That'd be rude.

When Enzo took the stage and proclaimed a dance off Circe looked around. Ah--there. As she headed towards the location she had spotted it turned out to be an exit. Perfect. Circe had no partner and she didn't really feel like watching couples or friends spinning each other around and let herself out of the tent. She'd take advantage of seeing what else prom had to offer, maybe.

Did Lou really just say--...Xiu was going to let that slide, but only for tonight. It was prom, after all, and she couldn't say she was entirely surprised by the boil's little slip up either.
She still looked a little hesitant at the request, but her expression soon shifted from uncertain to uncomfortable and embarrassed when the vampire suddenly started to sing, her gaze flickering towards the students around them when some curious eyes turned to face them. "Oh Jack, Lou, please," She spoke in a hurried whisper, tail flicking nervously behind her, "I--you'll stop if I promise you one dance sometime tonight, right? Just one?"
Perking up when another familiar voice reached her ears, she turned just in time to see Etzer, lips parting in surprise at his greeting. Despite the fact she still looked terribly embarrassed--even more so now, in fact--she still managed to offer her friend a grin. "Likewise, Etzer! It's good to see that you're here! Have you, ah, met Lou?"
Clearing her throat, she drew back and glanced between her friends. "Lou, Etzer. Etzer, Lou." The vampire in particular received a long stare, a silent warning to please behave. She didn't want this to be like last year, where--
--ah. The baku's attention was immediately drawn towards a boil who had stepped up beside the frost demon, and she tilted her head at him curiously. Her previous discomfort forgotten, her lips spread into a friendly smile and she clasped her hands behind her back. "Hi there!"

Junko was still searching for her date until she heard her name called. She brightened up immediately. "AMPHI! I've been looking all over for you~!" She called out excitedly as she hurried through the crowd to reach her friend, throwing her arms around Amphi in a hug. "I'm sorry I lost you! I hear there's a dance contest...are you any good at dancing?"We're ready to swing! Lead: Amphi Partner: Junko

Alice nodded. Being a bit of an alarm was right, but at least she had calmed down somewhat from that moment. She takes a good portion of everything too serious, as some would put, most mature out of a good portion of Amityville students. At least for the 1st years. "It's quite alright Eira. All is well."
But Eira was correct about the taking a break. Being on the dance floor can sure work up the heat, sweat, and aching muscles. "That sounds like a good plan. I have heard that the refreshments are very good."Alice had arrived at Prom with this dress, these shoes, with a pair of black tights and a matching headband.

Since before Prom had started, time was Gene's angry Russian land-lady breathing down her neck. Get the food and the coffee ready, set up the buffet tables, make sure the gnomes didn't eat any of the food on the way there, make sure the gnomes didn't eat any of the food that was set up, rush back to her dorm, do her make up and hair, get dressed, get to prom early to help with the final touches of the buffet, fight some weird Insanity thing, and now there was a dance off. The ghoul was stressed, to say the least, but there was one certain boil that, when she caught his eye, brought a smile back to her face.
Slowly slinking her way through the crowd to press herself into Mot's chest, the Doppelganger sighed in relief. "Hey there, cowboil." She whispered, taking one of his hands. "Would you mind if we just danced without the fuss for a bit?"

He smiled calmly at Alice. She didn't look too pleased, perhaps unconvinced, but he remained silent for the time being. He stiffened slightly at the announcement of a dance off. Would one of them...? TK held back a sigh of relief. "Sorry for making you stop," he apologized as he followed Rural with coat tails trailing behind him. "Perhaps some drinks and then we can try some games."
