When Aurora woke in the morning, a certain Sphinx had made himself quite at home upon her pillow, making it so that her head was right at the edge of the twin-sized bed, face full of golden fur, and all her hair seemed to be cascading down the bed like a dull, mousy waterfall. Letting out a slight huff, she lifted her head to stare at Altan, who was sleeping happily. Then she glanced at her clock.

She needed to go now, didn't she? Silently, she slid out of bed and half-waddled, her mind still sleepy, to gather her things from the wardrobe and then she dressed. She had just finished brushing her hair when Altan finally sat up, stretching lazily as cats so often do. Raising an eyebrow at him in the mirror, she thought, Good morning, sleeping beauty.

Altan's baritone chuckle echoed through her mind, still clear as day even though he had just awoken, though it did seem slower than before. That is ironic, my dear, as you are the one who shares her name. Aurora. Aurora simply put a headband on, her response being a silent acceptance. She saw little reason, in the morning, to answer such sentences.

Not five minutes later, Sphinx and shapeshifter were both on the way to where Evermore had said that they would have the meditation session. She would likely be early, but that was only because she chose to forgo breakfast today. It didn't seem that important right now, and she could get an apple if she did feel hungry. Apples were nice--especially the green ones. They were sweet and crunchy, but not hard.

Ari finally caught up to Ever when she reached into her bag to pull out her schedule. To her dismay, it wasn't there. A few more moments of searching proved fruitless. She groaned. "Go on without me, Ev, I dropped my schedule in the cafeteria. I'll catch you later!" she said, dashing back down the stairs.

Ari retraced her steps and entered the now-quiet cafeteria. Nearly everyone had gone to class, or to go cram for a class. She was happy, for that would make her search easier. Getting down on her hands and knees, she began to make sweeps across the floor with her hands. She must have looked utterly ridiculous.

After the room had Musica had been sitting in silence, except for the sound of his chair rocking back forth. When he heard somebody come back into the cafeteria he looked up in surprise to find Miss Ari. Trying to make little noise as he watched her sprawled across the floor in search of something, he saw sitting next to his chair a piece of paper. "Could this be it by chance?" Picking up the paper he folded it into a smaller size, then placed it upon the ground to slide quickly flick it and slide it to her. When it reached her it struck with enough pressure to tell that she hadn't just stumbled upon it by chance.

Something nicked Ari's hand and she quickly snatched it with inhuman speed. Opening it up, she ran her fingers over it and smiled. It was in braille, and it was her schedule. Who had tossed it to her? She heard the creak of a chair, and her head whipped around to focus in on the sound. She could smell a higher concentration of coffee in that direction, and using that smell, readjusted her mental map of the room in her mind. "Herr Musica?" she called, standing and brushing herself off. "Sie sollten nicht einfach da wie ein stummer sitzen! Oder hast du verwandelt in ein Welpe nun auch?" she said, laughing.

Musica quickly got up smiling and moved over closer to Ari. At his heighth of 6'1 he almost towered over the girl, causing him to incline his head to speak with her. "Fräulein Ari, wissen Sie, dass ich mich notfalls, bekannt lassen haben würde. Ich dachte ein unabhängiges Mädchen, wie Sie nicht solche direkte Hilfe wünschen würden. Bin ich für einmal falsch?" He said as he pushed a wild strand of hair off her face and behind her ear. "Are you sure you cam back for the schedule my dear? With such exasperation you gave I would think you came back just to see me ja?" Musica had the sleeves of his jacket tied around his shoulders so he wouldn't forget it and let the girls take it. The clothes he wore now were some of the few he owned.

"Ruhig Sie," Ari said, punching him on the arm. "... and how could I have possibly come back to 'see' you? Can't see, remember Herr Schoßhund?" she said, smiling at her own backsass. "I was going to go meditate, if you must know, but I lost my schedule. Although, you helped me find it. Danke, Herr Schoßhund," she said, curtsying. "... and if you don't mind my asking, how old are you? It just occurred to me that I could be flirting with a 40 year old guy... and that's creepy," she said, smirking. "However, by the feel of your face," she said, reaching out and running a finger from his temple to his jaw line, "... you don't feel 40. You feel 20 or so to me."

"Ah my apologies Miss Ari, I wasn't thinking at the moment. And as I recall I believe it was you that was one of the many puppies, not I." He smiled at her curtsey and did a little bow of his own. When she mentioned about his age he was actually a little bit worried. Especially saying that if he were forty it would be creepy. "Yes, I'm sure you can feel to know that I look no where near to be forty. Correct my physical appearence is of around the age of young twenties. Whether or not you'd like to know my true age is up to you. I don't mind if you'd rather not Miss Ari." His muscles were beginning to tremor again, but in worry this time. He never lied about his age when asked, but this girl was someone he didn't want to scare off. He hoped, but knew she probably would anyway, that she wouldn't notice the trembles he got whenever he felt strong emotion.

”Ruhig Sie!” she said, punching him lightly on the arm. She wondered what he meant by ‘true age’. What could it hurt to find out? She was curious. ”Then allow me to rephrase the question,” she said softly, ”How old are you really?” Ari paused, feeling tremors in the air. ”Are you nervous again? Your heart is racing… you’re going to have an attack!” she warned him. ”Please don’t be nervous…” she said, reaching up and lifting the corner of his mouth into a smile. ”Nur mir die wahrheit sagen,” she said.

After she took her fingers away his smile did not remain and his expression from before returned. He scratched the back of his head, wondering how much info he'd have to spill already to this girl he'd just met. There weren't any humans other than his deceased mother that knew these things about him. Her face of curiosity, despite being hidden behind her pair of shades which Musica despised. "Come along with me on a walk Miss Ari and I'll tell you all about it. If you promise to remove the glasses." He said extending an arm, holding his elbow agaisnt her for her to hold on to his arm. He kept his own shades off since he was asking her to remove her own.

Her curiosity grew. "Uh, sure," she said nervously, putting her shades in her bag. She was careful to place them in their case so they wouldn't get broken. She stubbornly closed her eyes, however. "There, they're off!" she said, taking his arm. "Where are we going, and whats with all the secrecy?" she asked, her eyes still stoically shut.

He laughed at her stubborness, since she didn't know Musica's determination. "Wenn das ist, wie Sie sein möchten, dann so sei es. Ich gehe mit meinen Augen, die außerdem geschlossen werden." He said as he guided them along with his aura senses. Of course she didn't know that so he attempted to walk a little unsure. "Was die Geheimhaltung anbetrifft, ich habe erlernt in meinen Jahren der Erfahrung, denen weniger die Leute das bessere kennen." Loki was the one who came to mind here. Because of some knowledge he'd obtained he killed his father and blamed his uncle. Musica continued walking along carefully, trying to seem he was playing blind. "now onto your question Miss Ari. My age in truth is 150 exactly this year. No more no less, though I will be 151 the October 6th." He spoke softly, attempting a half smile but failing.

"Bußgeld! Bußgeld! Jesus, bitte die Augen offen!" she exclaimed. She opened her eyes and looked at him. "Siehst du? Bist du jetzt zufrieden? Open verkaufen, bevor etwas weh tut uns!" she demanded, reaching up to feel his eyelids to make sure he opened them. She was silent for a long time, though, after he told her his true age. His humor was gone, and she didn't need her senses to tell her so. Was he really any different, though? What difference did age make anyway? She had liked him perfectly fine when she hadn't known... so how did this change him any?

"That's cool," she finally said. "So you were around when the Germans fought the British and French during World War II?" she asked curiously, smiling at him.

Musica laughed as he opened his eyes to see she opened her own. "Wenn ich Ihre Gläser weg ich wünsche, bedeuten Sie, Ihre reizenden Augen zu sehen nicht Ihre Augenlider. Ich bin sicher, dass Sie mich nicht meine würden verstecken wünschen, wenn es die andere Weise herum war." He continued to lead her through the school, giving himself a tour as well since it was his first trip here. He looked up the stairs he carefully began leading her up them. "Ja, I was there for the war. I saw all the terrible things that happened, the prisoner camps and the murders. The starving people who lined the streets begging for help. Oh yes, that incident changed me, but for the better I'll have you know." In fact he used to kill those he deemed unfit for life, that he deemed not beautiful. It was his demigod body being overwhelmed with his godly nature. After seeing himself on a larger scale he changed, never looking back at his old ways.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "Meine Augen freak Menschen aus. Daher die Gläser," she replied stubbornly. "I wonder what it would be like to live forever..." she mused aloud. "You will live forever, right? Are you some kind of God? Demigod? Can you do anything cool, perhaps time travel? Maybe shoot lasers from your eyes?" she asked, throwing out random questions as they occurred to her.

Still in the middle of stepping upwards, he scratched the back of his head wondering what he'd got himself in to. When she stuck her tongue out at him he thought she made the cutest face, so he returned the action in words. "Ich bedeute nicht, unhöflich zu scheinen, aber, es sei denn Sie verwenden können, dass Zunge es nicht heraus an mir haften. Wenn Sie können, wohl, dass eine andere Geschichte ist." He said sticking his own tongue out laughing. At the mention of the words God and Demigod goosebumps ran up his body and his muscles trembled. "Isn't she a smart one eh?" "Aye, so far as I know I'm to live for the rest of eternity. Demigod is correct I am one, but probably not one you'd expect."
