Zejx began to say something but stopped. He looked down at Tyera. "Looks like I need to have a talk with out mage friend after we eat." He took a bite of his food. "Have you had much practice fighting with multiple blades before or are these your first attempt?"

She let out a surprised sound, a loud, surprised sound as she was lifted into the air. She automatically grabbed her chair, though they didn't go very far into the air. She looked around the room, this woman was very powerful. It made Tyera feel even weaker<<

You are very strong, but that doesn't mean you know how to use a sword.

*Rinoa looks over her shoulder at Zejx a bit unsettled when he speaks with her.* I've got plenty of experience manipulating multiple objects at once yes, and it has been in tense situations... *she disappears, litterally from where she was, and is now sitting across from Tyera at her table.* I can't say they're life threatening, but under pressure I won't fold. I'm telekinetic, but things don't move just because the idea of them moving makes it to happen. It's will power and focus that accomplish these goals. I'm also an empath which means I always have to keep my emotions in check for the sake of those around me, and I also have to deal with the emotions of others constantly bombarding me as well. *To accentuate her statement for a brief moment several emotions calmly wash over them both. Happiness, fear, excitement, loneliness, love, and sorrow, none of them overwhelming, but each one distinct enough to be noticed.* It's as obvious at the nose on your face that you don't want me to go. I felt it as soon as I mentioned I was to be going with you, and I don't know everything that's going on right now, I trust that Ontaros knows what he's doing. He doesn't let on much about himself, but what I've felt from him, he knows you need help, and he knows it's going to take a wide variety of skills and people to make this happen.

*Rinoa looks over to Tyera and asks her openly* Why do you put yourself in harms way? To accomplish something? What do you gain from it? *She also looks over at Zejx, making it a question to them both.

The past was gone, and she had to look to the future. Zejx and their allies were going to start a new future, a brighter one without Chaos. And Z wanted his future to be entwined with hers.

Yes, we lost a lot of good people. I was fortunate that the ones I cared for most survived. My brother and you, Zejx. But this war is not just yours. The reason you fight it is to save the world, so it is everyone's battle. I'm sure sorrow has touched Rinoa just as it has hit us. And maybe it has to do with what we're fighting.
My reason for defending Rinoa may be selfish. The more people we have with us the less likely it is I will loose you. But I do want us to win and I want that future together you just asked of me.

Lore walks into the Main Hall after what seems like being away for a long time.
Not really sure what is going on or how long he was out of it he sits down and gets a drink of water.
He absentmindedly conjures a tiny whirlwind and starts playing with it on the table.

Ontaros slowly walks in with a smile on his face and his eyes gently closed "Because Zejx, you are the inspiration to the cause, you are what leads everyone forward. Without you, who would take the reins and finish what you've started? Who would be even capable enough to bring down Chaos? Tyera is powerful, I believe every word of what you've said of her strength, but you have to realize that with all her might, without you as her guiding star she would be lost. I myself could lead, but I haven't the raw force to accomplish this myself. If Tyera and I were to stand together against Chaos, perhaps we could stand a chance, but the coordination, the compatibility, and the bond you two share is something that could not be replicated." He sighs and looks about "For lack of a better metaphor, Zejx, you are the King, the game is over without you, Tyera, the Queen, without her we would be at a severe offensive disadvantage. As we are, the other pieces of the board must serve our purpose to provide to you both the front line of defense."
