Cal rolled his eyes,"I was....unprepared.."He said quickly, still rubbing his hand. His healing abilities were kicking in. Now his hand was numb... Cal looked up at the bird."Well who almost died a few minutes ago?" He asked, his eyebrows raised.

Emute grinned "sun scary?" The bird cawwed as if to say 'i am a demon i dont die i am already dead...' Emute sighed and pulled out her claymore wiping the blood from it. Onto her finger and into her mouth went the blood. She sat there sucking on it. Still with one eye shut

Cal watched the bird, glaring at it....Stupid bird...He smelled the blood, turning towards Emute. He couldn't resist reaching over and getting a few drops onto his finger, licking it up....He smiled, his eyes closed in delight.

Emute glared at him "no steal Emutes food" she said giving him a stern look. She tossed him a knife with blood all over it "lick knife?" she said. Then shut up noticing she was talking to much.

Cal smiled, enjoying pushing her buttons..He caught the knife with his un-numb hand, licking it slowly and lightly...Cutting his tongue wouldn't be a problem though. Of course not. Being a demon had it's ups and downs...

The bird grinned and looked at her nodding the bird looked at Cal "she thinks your an idiot" the bird stated a low grim tone. Emute smiled not wanting to overuse her voice box. She continued licking up the blood on her finger. Addicitive it was. She felt the sun peek through the only window and she scooted to the corner. The bird once again talked "She also thinks you should move" the sun peered over to Cal's corner touching his leg.

Cal was already moving across the room to another dark corner, the knife still loosely gripped in his hand..."I noticed the light..."He said angrily, feeling his leg heal itself from were it was grazed with the light...It tingled..He could feel himself smile at the small pains, licking a little more blood as he sat down.

Emute fiddled with the sword and grazzed her finger over the blade. The blood trickled to the ground. Fantasme ducked under the blood and shook its feathers about. As if he was taking a blood bath. "She says your lucky you wouldnt have been able to walk if that sun had gotten any closer" the bird talked funny. She grinned nodding as if agreeing

Cal rolled his eyes, setting down the half-bloody knife. He'd save it for later..."Oh be quiet...."he said lightly, a slight anger showing in his voice...He could tell that Emute was leading him on, almost wanting him to get mad...Cal raised his eyes to look at the bird."You won't be able to fly due to the lack of wings in about 3 seconds.."he said, obviosuly a threat.But, he probably woudln't really hurt the bird...Emute would beat him into oblivion...

Emute threw a wild menacing grin. The bird opened it beak again "She says your good but not good enough. A knife flew and pinned some of Cals hair to the wall. She grinned. She did want him mad just to see him get mad

Cal's eyes narrowed, his hand reaching up to yank the knife out of his hair and the wood behind him. He thrust it back at her quickly, an angry look on his face. It embedded itself into her shoulder. Not too deep..He hadn't thrown it hard..He knew that she wouldn't care though. Self-healing stunk when you were trying to hurt someone of the same race....

Emute looked at her shoulder and pulled out the knife in one yank. The bird refused to zip it "she says thank you she was running out.." She continued licking the knife. But took a cloak and flung it on. She opened the door ducking into the cloak and dissapearing into the day

Cal glared, watching her go. he exhaled sharply, looking around the barren room. This building was abandoned, so he had no worries of being caught. And if he was they wouldn't live very long....He leaned back against the wall, closing his eyes.

Cal pulled a long coat out of his bag, slipping it on and pulling the hood up. he sighed, standing and following Emute into the streets. At least now he was covered by the light...Always helpful..
