"That is not only not a reason, but one of the worst bribe attempts I've ever had the pleasure of receiving." Rathios said with a small chuckle. "Besides, all I wish to do is find out more about Durithill, and I don't need anymore remotely like you for that. So, give me a good reason, or get comfortable on the table 'cause you're going to be there a while."

Veronica gave him a rather dull look. Well, that usually worked, but not on this one I suppose. "Well, I'm guessing you have loads of information on me, what else do you think I want these reports for?" She said with a growl, her arms crossed over her chest. "I'm going to stay here for as long as it takes to get some information on him. And if you deny..." Veronica started, pausing for a moment. "I'll consult that.. woman. The head lady, with the big white feathery wings. I could squeeze some information out of her.." She said aloud. It wouldn't of mattered if it was whispered or not anyway, he would have heard it regardless.

"I only have information on people's actions, not their motives." he said with a sort of sigh. "And stay as long as you want. Chances are he'll be with Lady Raine when she comes back, so you can get the information straight from the source."

"...Fine! Veronica yelled, keeping her one leg crossed over the other. "Fine, I think I will!" She bellowed, her tone sounding like that of a child. "You brought this on yourself, blind man. If I happen to bother you, it's your own damned fault!"

"It's not my fault that you decided to show your face around here demon." he said as he reached for one of the reports that he had out and began "reading" it. He frowned slightly, then changed some of the braille on the page before continuing.

"Oh, I know." She said, closing her eyes with a smirk. "But it's your fault for not handing over a report. It all comes back down to you." She said, ,oving her foot a littlebit impatiently. But she would wait as long as it took, even to get the tiniest bit of information.

"I'd ask you if you can read Braille, but I suppose that's pointless as I'm pretty sure I already know the answer." he said, not looking up from the report he was working on.

"Yes." She replied. "I can read it... My sister is blind in one eye..." She replied with a mumble. "It was easier for her to learn braille, but we both know how to read both." She said with yet another mumble, suddenly feeling cold. Veronica shuffled a bit, pulling her hands up onto her shoulders, moving her hands up and down her arms to keep herself warm. "Heh... Why would you care though? You're just a heartless angel, part of council, whom cares nothing for us in the demonic realm.."

Rathios sighed and shook his head. "You never answered my question." he said.

"Yes, I can read braille." Veronica repeated herself. "I'm sure I told you only moments ago, get your hearing checked!" She snapped at him before jumping off the table and walking over to one of the book shelves.

"Not that one." he said with an annoyed sigh. "What, exactly, do you need the reports for?"

Veronica lifted her head. "Oh." SH ebluntly replied. "Isn't it obvious?" She snorted, running her index finger along the spines a book, much like Raine had earlier that day. "I'm a demon hunter, taking him down would pull in some good loot." She said as she stopped and wrapped her fingers around the spine of a book and pulling it from the shelf. "Besides, I thought I'd help the council out. They seemed to have been struggling lately."

Rathios sighed and made an obscure hand motion. "You can read any of the reports as long as they stay here. If you want to get yourself killed, be my guest." he said as he guestured at all the reports that now covered every surface in the room in piles feet high. The reports shifted from Braille to text again and every one said Durithill.

Veronica's eyes widened in surprise, soon shoving the book she had taken out back into the shelf. It was a surprise he had given in so quickly. Without a word, Veronica picke dup the first file she had seen and began to scan her eyes over it. Her heart was racing with excitment. He had actually let her read them!-- Well, he probably realized she would have sat there forever-- but she got a hold of them!

"But if you're looking for a weakness, let me save you the trouble. His only weakness appears to be water, but not only does he avoid it, it makes him stronger." Rathios said as he finished re-writting one of the reports and placed it back on the table. He picked up another one and began working on it.
