hi all.. just checkign gaia while i eat my dinner.. then we're gonna have some mario party 6... but um.. yeah. next two days off.. gotta do some important stuff, but i'll be around.. maybe i should find new staff for here? maybe visit welcoem to gaia and recruit new members looking for friends... lol..
miaka, I didn't have someone die in my arms.. but i was there when someone close to our family drowned at a local waterpark... i was there at the hospital after they pulled the plugs when his brain went dead... it was a very traumatic experience. I'll be sure to keep you guys in my prayers. These things are never easy... it can be so hard to let people go... hmm.. a while back, my grandmother passed away... and when i met with her extended family and heard about the kind of woman she was before she met my grandfather.. i realized there was a lot more to this woman than i ever noticed... and I sometimes wish i had the opportunity to talk with her... and a lot of her favorite scriptures happen to be some of mine as well... heart but... still, death is a part of life.. and it is inescapable... you can also look at it that not only is he finally at peace and no longer suffering.. but at least when he passed.. he was in the company of people he loved and was loved by.. rather than just dying off in some hospital all alone.. which i'm sure comforted his passing soul..

Thank you Gracie. And thank you everyone who has sent me a pm to pay there respects. I still feel..... kind of like I'm dreaming at the moment. But, as traumatic as it was, and I hate to say it, but I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. When I wasn't cooking or cleaning, I was tending to him so I really didn't have much time for anything else. But... now that he's at peace, in a strange way it's like I've been... freed. I'll miss him forever, and he'll always live on in my heart but.... now I can focus more on the things I need to get done. And.... now he'll be with me where ever I go. It's strange cause... just this morning I felt like he was around me. I dont know if it's possible but.... I don't think he's left us quite yet.

Um... I can't say I've experienced anything like that... But it makes me feel so sad... I can't even go to funerals, I'm too sentimental for things like that. redface
