'Well, I've got that much down.' Darien replied to Bo. 'UHm... if I may interject here, sir...' he said, putting his hand up close to eachother, tapping his rings together, '... I have a proposition for you. You see, the reason I'm in need for a ship, or to join the crew of one, is thatI'm on a bit of a... how to word... task...'
He scratched at where his chin would be, but it was covered by the cloth conforming to his lower face, jaw, chin, and neck. '... You see, I've come upon the knowledge of something... very valuable to me, a cleint, and I'm sureyou, as well. All you need do is follow my guidance towards the place which I must get to, catch my drift?'

This sounded interesting. It seems she was right about this treasure hunter, he would be worth keeping on board if he could dish out stuff like that.
"whats in it for me?"
Bo asked in a voice that sounded like she wanted to know more. Yes, she was a sucker for her money, especaly if it had to do with pissing off the Royal Navy. And this didn't sound too legal to her.... Right up Bo's ally.

Gwlyen nodded to the boy who had just walked up, and she listened to Bo's suggestion. "Aye will be glad to have you abroad."
Turning her attention back to the treasure hunter, she listened to his rather sketchy proposal. It sounded like as good a venture as any, even so she looked at him with a rather critical eye.
"Bo be right. For this venture of yours to be considered we need to get a few things straight. What ever the pay be for it, ship's expenses from the voyage come out of it first, followed by an agreed on amount of pay to every crew member."

Throughout all the introductions, Stara remained silent. She held the same position as before: Hands on her hips and all her body weight supported on one leg. Meanwhile, Bahari was criss-crossing himself around her legs, sometimes straying over to the other end of the deck. As a new soul appeared aboard, he let out a deep meow which ended in a purr, as a warning to his owner.
Though she didn't show her interest, she intently heard all the group said amongst themselves. Over the years, she'd been taught that only the head of the ship and the one he's adressing should talk, and that no one may intrude. She managed to hear what this so-called Bo said to Gwylen, but didn't manage to make it all out. What she did undertand was something about "someone", "babysit", and "knows what he's doin'." Personally, she didn't like where that was going. Either way, she remained unstirred and unmoved, her gaze stuck firmly on the newcomers.

Darien grinned, 'I've piqued your interests, I see.' he said, happily. 'I believe me being on crew suffices for the travelling expenses, doesn't it? I mean, I am part of your crew, aren't I?' he asked, referencing the factthat the captain had already welcomed him to the crew.
'So that's out of the way. Secondly, I'm not too keen on parting with the item in question, though I'm sure there's plenty of... how you call it 'booty,' or 'loot,' to be had, see?' He rapped his rings together some more, and continued on.
'Third, I'd be willing to split some of the prize money with the captain and a select few he deems worthy. Note, I say select few. There's only so much to be had, and splitting it too graciously would leave us with not enough at all, see?' He put his arm around Bo. 'So, chum, what say you? You keen on the proposition as it lies?'

Bo was increadably happy with how it sounded. Truely she didn't care what the item was, she was just after the expencive shiny things. The fact that his rings where big and worth a small boat each made Bo even more keen on the mission.
"I have to say, I think we could become real good friends you and I."
She told Darien with a huge grin. Clearly they had a deal, and Bo liked how it sounded.
"But,"
But.... there was alwase a but to good deals like this, just in case he was liein' to her. Didn't sound like he was but it was alwase good to have back up.
"assumeing there is no treasure to be found, I would like one of your rings as shipping and handleing fee for this thing ye' be after."
by the way Darien talked about this thing and him not wanting to give it up, Bo figured a ring was the least of what she could ask for, and if he couldn't pull that then he ether wasn't serious or this thing wasn't worth going after in the first place.

"I see how it lies yes, and I've an alteration to make." Gwylen's expression remind mild, though her tone was cool. "We neglect ta pay the crew, and there be no other venture. Better us all be shorted, then heading to the deeps with the knives of the crew sticking from our backs."
"And yes, you be of the crew." Hearing Bo's suggestion about the rings she nodded in agreement. "Bo do think right, if you be willing to wager a ring, then ont his venture we do go, sooner rather then later." Gwylen grinned a bit though not at any of them, her eyes skyward into the rigging.
"If we work hard she can be crewed by very few, and the prize divided equally few ways."

'Well, I assure you you'll not be needing to get one of me rings.' Darien replied. 'And if you're so intent on payin' the rest of ye crew, then we shouldn't take too many, if you think we can crew it with a few people. Then we all get a fine share, while I get the item in question.'
Continuing to haggle and tap his rings, he spoke again. 'So then, we have a deal, then?' he said, putting his hand out in accordance.

Bo thaught about it, with their current crew they could make way as is but it would be hard work and everyone would have to pull their own weight. Bo was alright with that for now, so long as she didn't have to cook, and with two real women on board she didn't think that to be an issue.
When the hand was held out to her to shake on the deal. So far as she could see it was a win-win situation for her and the rest of the crew, the only one who might lose would be the treasure hunter here.
Bo gladly took his hand.
"Deal, we go after your thing and if there is no profit along the way we get yer rings."
she said, makeing sure that the terms of the deal where clear to everyone on board. And with several witnesses, this guy better not even think of swindleing this pirate.
"We leave in an hour to go treasure huntn' for Darien's item. All crew report back here by then or we are leavn' without ya.... that includes you boy"
She said to the boy who was clearly new to ships. Clearly he had just got the job simply by showing up. Although he probaby didn't know what he had just gotten himself into, Bo didn't care.
She turned to the girl who had been silent all this time, finaly ready to speek to her. Bo put her arm around the girl's neck and bent down so as no one else could hear what she was going to say.
"I need you to keep an eye on that boy untill he knows what he is doing... wouldn't want him to pull something stupid and have us all stranded in the middle of the ocean cause' o' it."
Bo then stood back up and with a smile on her face turned to Gwen.
"So... where be the place I am to call 'my quarters' for this journy?"

Once the agreement was sealed, Stara felt Bo's hand around her neck. Even with the extra weight put on her, she kept her composure. Though her body was left nimble, her mind just tensed up. But, with a few seconds, she managed to stabilize herself. As the captain gave his order, she merely nodded. See? I knew it wasn't going to be good. But there be no complaints if it's a captain's orders. She then decieded to make her approach to the boy once everyone had cleared the area. After introductions had been made, she'd show him around the ship. For now though, she stood in her usual position, waiting for her opportunity.

Before the captain took his hand, he misworded his sentence. Darien's hand flew back quickly. 'Only one, of my choosing.' he said, slipping his hand into the captain's hand, sealing the accord. 'Right then. I'll get into the map room, and start plotting it out. I may not have a mind for ships, but maps I'm quite keen on.'
He looked this way and that, and turned to the woman who'd done the most speaking. 'Which way to the map room?'

"The charts," Gwyeln said stressing the word chart a bit, "Are in my quarters, straight to the back, first door that you see. On and above the table there." Figuring he'd be able to find them, Gwylen turned to Bo to anwser his question.
"You're welcome to the first mate's quarters, o rany of the other unsued ones, if another's suits you better. The rest of the crew can be on the gun deck......Plenty of open space to sling a hammock."

'Now, now, dearie.' the treasure hunter said, 'It's impolite for a an to enter a woman's chambers unattended, isn't it?' he asked, his foolish smile hidden by his mask. He followed her directions, and found the charts easily enough.
Gazing upon the maps, he studied them intently, focusing on each and every small island in the Caribbean. 'Which one was it...' he thought to himself. 'Ah!' He looked about, putting his finger on the island, and found a knife. Picking it up, he jabbed it gently just above a partciular island.
'There.'

Bo nodded her head and went strieight for the where the captain's quarters might be. As acting captain she may as well stay where the crew may know where to find her quickly.
As she entered what was to be her newest room she was grateful. It was spacious, and there was privacy for once in her life! Thank the Krakin! Bo set down her things over by where she was to be sleepin' and looked over the room. She had to say that captains had it easy.
when Bo was fineshed looking about her new quarters, that would be costomized to her likeing as their treasures grew, she went back to the deck where she could find Gwen and ask about rations. Didn't want to start sailin this ship without any food, spare rope, extra gunpouder and other such nesseseties.
Bo went up to Gewn and put her hand on her sholder to get Gwen's attention.
"How be the rations? are we in desprate need of anything or is she stalked for a long journy?"

"I can go fetch the last of the supplies easy enough." Having seen where Bo had gone to dump his stuff a slightly mischievous smile came across her face. He had eyes on a postion she'd not yet found a fit for.
"But if we are ta share quarters, I'll have you know I sleep with knives." With a wave over her shoulder, and without waiting for him to respond Gwylen walked down the gangplank and into what passed for civilization on Tortuga.
