Sky Was prepared for Lamya and just smiled. "You go on thinking that hun." He siad then kneed her in the gut. He had been wondering how he was going to escape and while in the grip of the of the Machine Sky's thoughts traveld back to the car ride with Skylark. At first he was just thinking about her but his mind quickly traveled to the spell he used to slow down time. He quitely mutter the spell and as he was letting his leg down from kneeing Lamya everything started to move very slowlyv until it came to almost a stop. He knew that he could be long gone by the time Dracon muttered the same spell.

Sklark looked at the others, then backed up to the car once more and pulled herself inside. "Max you look for the droid, while i take tomi to our new camp, it's the Abandoned aparment complex a mile down a few side streets, I'll be back though." She looked back and said with bittersweat sarcasim, "And please, sir, don't do anything stupid." she said to the strange man.

lamya wasn't sure how anything was working anymore, but she didn't care, she was paid to read folks minds and then kill them, but not to think or truely understand anything.

Sky looked lost, angry, and ashamed all at the same time. how could that have failed! This wasnt anything ordinary he was up against. Sky was worried for the first time in a long time If this guy knew all of his moves than there was nothing he could do to free himself or stop him. His only hope was the others. But he couldnt let them come it may cost them their lives

Dracon smiled and walked next to Lamya, "Do not worry you will have your Chance. I feel that the Lark is going to come to us. Along with the rest of the human resistance. He wont be trying to escape anymore he knows his all hope is gone."

Lamya smiled, she liked that idea, " Goodie," she drooled as if she didn't care. She put her face next to sky's "i get to rip the birdies wings off..." then she smiled at dracon, "Thats the sweatest thing anyones ever said to me...." she had been sarcastic, of course.

Sky glared at Lamya and used his mind to create a thought that would send a jolt of pain to most Telepaths. By doing this he would learn not only her skill level as a telepath but wether or not she would be any type of match for him.

Lamya felt the surge of magic that seeed into her mind, and knew it was from Sky imediately. She ad felt something like this before when the magic testers at the mech center had tested her for the gift she posseed. Instead of pushing back, like she was supposed to she let it go deeper, but not touch her own mind, so he would not no her strenght of her mind magic, known as empathy and mind reading. But ever magic user had a magic swell, waves of magic that was universal it was just her ablity to tap into it that decided what gifts she had. She just stoped it when it reached the point she had picked and left it there, it would no doubt confuse him quite a bit.

She is good Sky thought. He went deep into her mind but not deep enough it was either a trick or she was moderatly powerful. Sky did not have time to decide whcih she was.

((flash Back time))

...."Well, well, well, you have an interesting past Sky" The seer said looking into Sky's eys. The room was dimly lit. It gave the room a mystical feel for the nonbelievers that wanted to belive. It was the 1920's and the public was more open to freaks if they were in the right setting. Many thought that the Mistress's powers were a scam in order to get a dollar out of their pocket, but Sky could since her powers buried inside of her. She was the real deal alright.
....."I didn't come here for you to tell me about my past. I already lived it. I know the story. Tell me what I came here for....please." Sky had grown tired of games. The man he was trying to find had managed to elude him for some time. The killing had to stop though.
....."Very well." The woman who called herself a gypsy pulled out a bowl and started to perform the same stun she did for all over her costumers. She pulled out a linen back which she no doubt carried som regualr clovers. Before she could start he performance Sky reached out and grabed her arm.
...."Lets cut the show. I know you have the gift, you dont have to try prove it to me with this illusion." Sky said. His eyes were peircing into her, the years had made him grow colder and meaner than he had been in the past, and he told himself that he would go back one day but right now he hadto find this man.
....."He hides himself in an old abadoned warehouse somewhere in New York. He has the mob behind him. You might want to be careful." The Gypsy woman told him.
....."They are the ones who are going to have to be careful," Said Sky as he pushed back his chair and straightend his long leather jacket. HE took one last look at the Gypsy women, who wasnt a gyspy at all she was just a reader, one who could see the past and future. Sky knew a gyspsy once and they were much more helpful people. SKy hated having his mind read and he rarely let people didnt but desperate times called for desperate measures. "Thank you maddam," was the last words he spoke as he turned and went out the cloth door.

....They continnued to walk Sky didnt have any idea where they were going but he had a feeling that it was very well thought out. The enemy knew who we were, they had time to prepare. It gave them the leg up. This is bad news.
