Ahh, very nice. I don't use dischord really, but, the guild also has a chat room built into it if you ever want to use it. That's why I unlocked it, because I figured some people like active chat for plotting. n_n If you do end up making a dischord chat, though, instead, let me know!

I just usually find discord being useful, and a fast way to alert me if someone's chatting with me. I don't get notifications from gaia and have to refresh the page. I don't check it as much as I used to.

@ discord chat - I'm hesitant to use discord for Gaia. I've had some really bad experiences with groups on discord that ended up horribly. :c I'm unsure of how to change any of my DM settings either, despite looking on mobile and laptop settings. But yknow, one bad apple ruins the bunch.

Hi everyone! Im new here! heart
I agree with Alex though. I use discord for my starfall city rp. I find it helpful cause i do work a lot and i can access it with my ohone suuuuuper easy unlike gaia! Lol it really made making characters easier for everyone too cause they could ask questions and i could sticky them to a specific channel for others to see. Also, if people want to do a 1x1 rp by themselves then i encourage my group to give a synopsis of what happened oocly of course in another room. Plus it builds good repport with the entire group as you get to share images, memes, funnies, etc. Lol. As far as bad experiences, ive had them too. Anywhere from my irl friends discords to my free company drama in discord, to gaia drama in discord. I would encourage you to give discord ankther try as a platform should not be blamed for others shitty actions. =p Buuuuut thats just my 2 cents on it amd probably not even worth that much. Lol.
None the less, thank you for the invite and i cant wait to get started on my character! ^-^

I suppose you're right, I shouldn't make a blanket assumption about using Discord, since I do still use it for close personal friends. I shouldn't let one bad apple ruin my sweet bushel. It just left a pretty bad taste in my mouth to open discord at work and have all the channels be filled with furry porn (which was hard to explain away, but now it does seem funny)
I'd say your 2c is worth more than just 2c, it was a fair point!
All that said... I can't get the guild chat to work, even with flash enabled. So... I'm kind of SOL lol

Yeah, I actually just tried to get it to work as well, but I couldn't get the chat to work either. So, if we do a plotting discord, I will definitely download it and get in on it. xD
