Amazing wasn't the word for it. After being together for so long, they were quite in tuned with each other and...well, the glow they both bathed in spoke for itself.
He kissed the top of her head with a happy sigh. "Out in the middle of outside. I feel like we're a couple of teenagers again." Dameon chuckled softly, a hand reaching up to play with a strand of her hair.

She smiled, looking up to where his hand was playing with her hair. "Mmm~" He'd left her mostly speechless. So many years of being together, and it always just got better~ It would never cease to amaze her how wonderful Dameon was. In all ways, not just in this.
Star placed a kiss on his chest before shifting just enough to let her reach to inspect that lump. It felt too hard to be the ground beneath them. While she wasn't certain what it was, she was pretty positive it wasn't supposed to be under their blanket. Fingers connected with body temperature metal, and she blinked, pulling a fraction of an inch away from Dame in a moment of shock. There was only one thing they ever used metal containers like this for.
With wide eyes, Starry withdrew the flask containing a fairly familiar potion. "Oh Dameon..." She looked from it, up to him. Oh she wanted to smack herself so hard. So much made sense now! And she felt terrible for having said no. Of course they had room in their hearts for more children. The thought of what might happen flashed through her head, and set her to shaking. Fingers trembling, she set the flask back down and attempt to wrap herself into him.

He could lay like this forever. Completely relaxed, he idly watched her shift about. Until he realized just where she was reaching. His eyes went wide. "Star! No, no no no!" He scrambled upright to stop her, but she was already bringing the flask out.
Their eyes locked as his heart dropped down to his stomach. "It's nothing. I was stupid, I wasn't thinking about you. I'm going to bury that thing or throw it into a volcano." As she set the flask down he wrapped his arms around her. She was shaking. Oh guardians, what had he done? "I'm so sorry. I'm such an idiot. I should have asked you before going to see Millie."

Starry shook her head, just needing him there. She shook for a little, finally calming down in his arms. She sent a silent prayer to those above them for Dameon being so understanding. A few deep breaths after the shakes calmed, she leaned back to look at him. He'd gotten it from Millie herself... Millie wouldn't give it to him without knowing what was risked right?
"Dameon.. You really did get this from Millie. It looks just like the first flask that had given us Shageki and Junior.." She paused, trying to overcome a fear. "Do you remember the lore?" Star asked, brilliant green eyes meeting his steel blue ones. Of course she was scared. What if she didn't make it through another pregnancy? What if she left Dameon here alone? That was the most selfish thing she could possibly do to him. To leave him to wander this world without her.. tears welled in her eyes thinking about it. But Millie wouldn't give this to them if she wouldn't make it. Right? "How we found her in the first place?"

He was the worst. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that he had ruined their romantic date today because he was impatient about the kids being adults. When she pulled back his eyes searched her face, knowing his own must've looked quite pathetic. Before it folded in confusion at least. "I remember visiting her for Shageki and Junior. She knew we were coming. She knew I was coming. Like the rumor of her goes, she seems to know everything." He knew what she was hinting at before she even said anything. It was something that came with knowing each other for years, and their fierce bond with being married.
And the fact that she had already mentioned it before.
"But what if she's wrong? Pae can make mistakes. And I'm not chancing a mistake on you."

Starry nodded, he knew what she was getting at. He always seemed to know exactly what was on her mind. It always brought a smile to her face to know he cared so deeply for her. "Dame, I don't think she can be wrong.. She's not a pae, heck, I don't even know what she is." She had to look away, the thought of one of them existing anywhere without the other was too painful. Too hard to remember. She wanted to forget the entire time he'd been away. The reason, her own actions, the regret. All of it, it hurt too much to recall readily.
"Maybe we don't drink it now, we wait on it. The idea of leaving you here, alone, for the sake of having more children.. I couldn't do that to you Dameon." She shook her head, looking back up at him. "The thought of having more terrifies me, but I think... I think if I actually listened to the healers, and you do what you always do.. This could be a final pregnancy for us." She was almost tempted to look at the flask, yet didn't. "Dame, I love you. And for whatever crazy reason, I would go through everything again for the joy that Soliel and Siofra brought us."

As much as he wanted to believe that she couldn't be wrong, her life was not up for debate. Would he want more children? Of course. Starry saying that the horrible experience with Soliel and Siofra was worth it for more was heart breaking. She was scared, he was scared, obviously this was a bad idea and they should destroy that potion.
But as bad of an idea as it sounded now to wait, destroying it was a permanent end. Keeping it, even if they never used it, would leave option open. Which meant they couldn't regret one way or the other. "I still say no to doing it. But we can hold off on throwing the potion away for now." The demon reached up to gently cup her face. She was so beautiful, his glowing star. "I love you too."

She smiled, looking up to the handsome man cupping her chin. "Who knows, if we decide to drink it, it might be the smoothest pregnancy ever." Star wondered if that was even possible after Soliel, but it wasn't something she'd bring up. Not after what had just been said. A thought occurred to her, about getting a healer into the village. They didn't really have any, it was something they really should look into. Especially if there was even a chance of them taking a drink of that potion.
"Dameon, you're the best... Best everything, that's ever happened~" She smiled again, meaning it. She wouldn't say the best thing, that wasn't good enough. Everything about him, she couldn't imagine anyone better. "With all of my being, I utterly adore you." Star couldn't help it. Even with the prospect of a possibly larger family, all her thoughts were occupied with him. And a strange ache in her back. She squeaked a little, remembering they weren't the teenagers they felt like. Maybe the impulsive night under the stars on top of a flask wasn't the best idea, even if it was amazing~ "Maybe we should have dinner, My Love?"

Best everything eh? He grinned back at her smile, wondering how he got so lucky. He leaned forward to kiss the tip of her nose. "With dessert out of the way, I don't see why not." Dameon let go of her face to pick up a plate of fruit instead to hand over to her. He'd be digging into his chicken salad shortly. "I'm not nearly the cook you are, so I kept pretty simple. Hope you enjoy it all the same."

She smiled again, it was pretty well the only the only thing she could do. Aside from lick his lips when he kissed her nose. Yep, just as tasty as he had been a few moments ago~ "Awww, Dame, you cut them into such cute shapes!" She squeaked, holding up a star shaped strawberry. "Don't you ever say you're not as good a cook as me, this is amazing!" No wonder he'd gotten the kids to eat their vegetables when she was out bringing home fish! How had she not noticed this after all their years of being together?
"I bet they taste even better than they look too~" Even if she had missed one of the sweetest details ever, she did know he knew good fruit from bad fruit. He'd always picked the sweetest berries from their bushes, no matter what he was looking for. Not for the last time, Star wondered how she'd gotten so lucky as to have Dameon love her the way he did. How could all the love in her heart equate to everything he deserved, she'd never know, but she wasn't about to question it. If it weren't for the subtle ache in her shoulders from their activities, she'd have pounced him again~ "These are almost as amazing as you are Dame"

He laughed at her lick and ducked to wipe his face off on her shoulder. "You are so silly!" Dameon spoke as his wiping turned into a nuzzle before he straightened again. "I had to dress them up somehow. Distraction from how plain the meal is. Works every time with the kids!" Well, that combined with the ol' open up for the fairy routine. He was the biggest dad to ever dad.
The demon took his portion of salad to pour the chicken over before cherry picking some of the fruit to add to it. "I don't thank you nearly enough as I should for everything you do. Running the house and the village? I'm glad to give you a little bit of rest."

She giggled, that tickled! At least until it turned into a nuzzle. Star leaned her head to his, enjoying the warmth and closeness. "Honey, I think this would work every time with anyone~" She grinned, popping the expertly shaped strawberry into her mouth. He was the best dad to have ever daded.
Star watched the love of her life pick out various shapes, smiling the whole while. The way his muscles flexed, the slight sheen of sweat glistening in the light around them. He looked like a god. "We both take care of the village, it's not just me. And the house is easy~" She shook her head. If it weren't for him, she'd have torn her hair out by now with everything around their home. "With our children grown, not a lot gets messed up inside our house." Maybe that was why she didn't see it as a huge deal? One or the other seemed a lot easier than both together...

"Really? Think I should open a fruit shaped shop?" He teased gently, admiring the way her star glow bounced off her skin. "Maybe call it, Edible Bouquets?"
Still smirking a bit at the idea, he started munching on his salad. Wasn't too bad. The chicken was a touch dry -should have asked Cressida for help- but otherwise good. "Well, except for what I mess up. One of these days I'll stop tracking dirt into the house."

"You so should~ I bet you'd make a killing at market!" She smiled, crunching on a particularly juicy bit of melon. Mmm, it was as amazing as she'd been excited for. "I wonder what else you can carve with those skilled fingers of yours~" Star glanced at those particularly talented fingers. It didn't take much for her to recall just how skilled he was with his hands.
"Oh please, the dirt you track in is nothing compared to the mess I make when someone brings home a deer or other large animal to be skinned. Or fish to be scaled. Goodness, have you seen all the scales from just one fish?" A thought that made her shudder. She was grateful it didn't happen too often anymore, some of the fish were just a huge mess. "I love you, even when you track dirt into our home."

"I could! But I don't know what I'd do with my profits. I already have everything I could ever want." He spoke almost as sweet as the bit of melon juice escaping down her chin. "Are you trying to hint for a back massage later? Because I was already thinking of that." It no doubt wasn't, but they really should eat before he got hungry for 'dessert' again.
Despite her being vegetarian, she was a fantastic cook with meat. So accommodating for their more carnivorous children. "I'd love you even if you didn't clean that dirt."
