Pyro was gonna kick the senshi just for the sake of keeping her firmly rooted in spot, but he was joined by a corrupt - hey how you doing there - and another lieutenant, again -heyyyyyy ladies-.
"I have no ******** clue who Jerome Bettis is." Pyro watched as she turned to look at him.
He was about to attack her again, pin her arms or something for the girls to finish grabbing when he got a solid punch in the face.
"OH HELL ******** NO." Pyro gripped his cheek and looked over at the senshi attacking him. "You did not just ******** touch my beautiful face you ******** creep." Pyro hissed, retrieving his weapon. "You wanna duke it out Son?"

Eurydike's smirk read sheer satisfaction as he swerved back, cocking a brow at he look the enemy over. These people were the same ones that had taken advantage of him several times over, never mind the other people of this city - now, they were trying to gang up on the senshi in red and blue. He wasn't about to have that. One down meant one less for her to deal with.
"'Beautiful?' - you ********' kidding me? What mirrors have you been looking in, freak?" he taunted openly, crossing his arms over his chest.
He spread his hands at his sides, but not before cocking his index finger at the negaverse officer. "Go on then, ********' come at me bro, " he sneered. Let this idiot make the first move.
For a moment Athene half paused at the Dark Mirror Eternal's comment. He had been at the Fun House too, although 'fun' was kind of a misnomer as there had been nothing fun about it.
"I know" he said at last. "Liryn told me." His voice softened "I'm sorry" and he meant it because opposite sides or not what had happened at the 'Fun' House - what the Negaverse had done - had been just plain wrong. "No one should have had to go through that."
She moved out of his way and he took the opportunity to once again head towards the General, only to end up having to dodge out of the wall as the gymnasium was suddenly invaded by...
Balls?
He blinked startled, only to end up having to duck last minute with a muttered crap as he almost got brained by a stray basketball.
A voice called out, cutting over the sound of fighting and balls still bouncing around, ironically - at least to Athene - answering the Dark Mirror's question.
It also told Athene where he needed to go - because wasn't back where the General was?
He headed towards back, his path surprisingly - or at least to him surprisingly - clear, reached in time to see a beam of black energy hit a white-haired girl with the aura of a Squire who cursed in what sounded like French as her leg gave way under her.
He broke the remaining distance between them, was in time to realise that the Squire was down rather than out as she fired an arrow of glittering light that made him think of starlight towards the General. The blond-haired man garbed in blue and holding onto a corrupted Senshi seeming familiar.
He shook his head slightly, reaching to offer a hand to the Squire his voice quiet as he asked "Are you okay?"

"Easy, easy. You're gonna be knackered for a bit." Nothing like having one's life essence ripped from one's chest to really get the body going good! "That a*****e yanked your star-seed. I should've warned you, he does that." Aegir wiped at his nose and glowered after Umber some more before peering down at Mont Blonc. The gymnasium was chaotic but they were a small island of temporary serenity.
Aegir let him go and started to push himself to his feet, hissing at the weight coming on his ankle. It throbbed unpleasantly and he cursed mentally because he would lose god only knew how many days of work at DCBC because of this. "I'm fine." No, no he wasn't. "Sprained ankle, maybe." The blond shrugged and looked towards where Sandrine had made their stand. "Got to get closer." And help - it looked...desperate. But he was unsteady on his feet and Mont Blonc was...weakened.
So he did what others had done and picked up a basketball and chucked that sucker as hard as he goddamned could at the icy-looking member of the Dark Mirror Court. Elsa could enjoy a head-shot and potential concussion, if he played his cards right. And that would be one less person for the red and blue senshi to fight against...and was that a corrupt fighting with them?
Weakened? Yes. But Mont Blonc wasn't blind. He could see, hell, even hear the discomfort that Aegir was in. 'Knackered' or not, he pulled himself up, still clutching a hand to his chest in memory of what had been, trying not to seem as shaken as he was by the whole thing. "I'm fine, really." He was exhausted, the powdered detergent now congealing into tiny clumps across his brow. Even if he swayed a little on his feet, he was still technically in better shape than his friend.
So in a rare act of gall, he furrowed his brow and leaned down, catching Aegir's arm once he'd thrown the ball and slinging it across his own neck. "Don't make me carry you, " the page warned; he tried to sound stern like he defintely meant business, but as it turned out he was pretty terrible at that. "Now let's get over there!"
(Wow, with their forces combined, they were almost like a functional person again.)

Bolton hissed in pain, slowing her roll to check the wound. It wasn't deep; it had sliced through her jacket, her dress, and there was blood, but not much. She wasn't sure what was hers or what was from that bloody longsword, but she could worry about contamination later. Zircon would know what to do about it.
"Change of plans. Cover me," she said to Amphitrite, closing on the still-dazed senshi. She paused again, only long enough to haul Sandrine up and towards the laundry room.
Once Amphitrite had cleared the laundry room--no enemies, all of them were busy--Bolton shoved Sandrine inside and slammed the door behind the three of them. "Call Umber," she said, "let him know she's secured."
That said, she broke the handle off the doorframe, which sent a jarring pain up her arm and a twinge through her affected side. Easy enough from there to render the door unusable. "If you try anything, senshi, I will hurt you," she said to Sandrine.
Amphitrite didn't waste any time. She pulled out her communicator and hissed into it, "Umber, target is secure - I repeat, target is secure. Do you read me?" It was loud out there, but she also didn't want to get too loud. Those order idiots were busy tripping over themselves and other officers; she wanted to try and keep it that way long enough for this to be a success.
A success - her and this agent, together, a success. A short lived thrilled of excitement rushed through her at the thought, but she also didn't want to get ahead of herself yet. "Yes, and we'd hate to have to hurt you, " the corrupt senshi purred as she held up her shell laden arms defensively, just in case. You never knew what someone would do when they're cornered.

Sandrine has gone missing, carried off into the gymnasium facilities!
Sandrine, White Moon
Getting lumped about certainly didn't have much to do with dignity, but the whole situation had lacked that to begin with. Struggling and kicking didn't seem to have any effect in being at least undignifiedly dropped to effect a crawled get away. The dropped didn't happen until they were who knew where else and Sandrine sprawled on floor a moment before setting about the business of standing when the world kept wanting to tip sideways.
Don't take headshots from Generals. Yes. Life lesson. There was the door breaking sound. That drew swimming attention to the two at the door. It was the Laundry room. It simultaneously smelled like sweaty shorts and fabric softner. "You both watch too many movies. Of course I'm going to try something. "
Sandrine felt for any reserve inside, something, even enough for a dagger if a longsword was too much. Did it work that way? The well felt dry anyway. A grab at a pile provided a gross damp body towel. "I'm going to get hurt either way, or worse. "
It'll have to do for extending my reach a little. C'mon Shelby. Sandrine looped the damp towel and tried to rat-tail the other senshi girl in the face.

Managing a glance to the downed knight his gaze drifted then to Katya, a smile stretching across his face. "Thank you Katya." he'd thank her more properly when they got home, perhaps a trip to a fish store before hand for her dinner.
He'd been turning back toward the white moon senshi when he heard a familiar language, though one he was still earning, and picking up a few comments he felt it before it happened - he laughed. Oh, how very amusing this little knight was!
He was turning back to her, a reply ready to burst force from his lips, when a flash of light that blinded him for moments over took his vision. Leaving him blinking rapidly and still the flash of light didn't vanish and when it finally did he was no better off. he was still seeing stars and black spots in his vision. Cursing loudly he swung his weapon in an almost wild manner, in order to protect himself while his vision worked on clearing itself up.
"Je ne ai pas de balles ? Je pourrais te tuer si elle me plaisait . You'r chance que je ne vous déchire pas pour cette petite cascade." He had been working on his French, a lot, and not just with Paris' help but he'd been using other online, paid for, means to work on improving his skills. He wasn't always able to meet up with Paris, busy schedules for them both, so this was a substitute which helped as well.
Of course she had attacked that squire! They had attacked her General! As the squire unleashed their magic, whatever that may be, Katya was hissing from her spot on the floor with her tail swishing angrily behind her. The hissing only grew in volume, back arching, as an eternal white moon senshi arrived on the scene. This would not be good for her General, she wasn't in any shape to help him with another bit of magic like she'd just done.
Looking around, risking taking her eyes off the two, she did notice the senshi that her general had been interested in was missing. That odd white moon senshi was gone...but to where? That was something they could figure out once these two were handled. her attention going right back to the squire and the eternal.
"You'll leave my General alone." The words were spoken with confidence, and no small amount of arrogance on her part. She was prepared to sink so low as biting and scratching these two should try try anything against what, or in this case who, was hers. She also had to find Ochre didn't she? She needed to help him as well...She needed to know what he was doing, or had been doing.

With the starseed dispatched toward the bleachers, Umber rid himself of two assailants. The way toward Sandrine lay relatively straightforward beyond the many balls that crowded the floor. He started toward her again, watching, while the senshi struggled - Sandrine managed a longsword toward one of the lieutenants but it looked to be less effective than the real thing. That revelation stood as a mixed bag; while Umber was relieved to see that she wasn't shearing off the limbs of his allies, a power that strong would've done well on the Negaverse side.
Shortly after the pair shut the door to the laundry room, he slid to a halt right outside the entrance. He tried the handle and found it jammed; likely the pair found some means to secure it against the enemy. A glance toward the blonde super senshi confirmed that he was tied up in assisting his ally, much as he had done earlier. He wondered if endangering others proved a decent means of deterring this one, as it had worked all of twice already. The page stirred, too; Aegir must have searched beneath the bleachers to secure that gem, despite some instability on his feet.
His radio chimed in with the results he wanted. Senshi in hand, all he needed now was a touch of corruption.
Easy enough.
Holding crystal to mouth, Umber tried for another call over their radio wavelengths - the first went to the pair of lieutenants on the other side of the door. "Good work. Keep her subdued and wait for assistance. I'll stall whoever I can from out here." Sandrine's condition looked less than impeccable when he last saw her; he doubted that the pair of lieutenants should have trouble with her.
The final call left him quite tired. He felt the weights over his eyes and the sluggish thought that accompanied the expenditure of energy. "General-Queen Laurelite, this is Lieutenant Umber. We have a senshi detained in the laundry room of Price Hall Gymnasium in DCU. Please corrupt at your earliest convenience." He only hoped she was powered up and in a position of answering the crystal for these plans to work.
Otherwise, what had they gained here?
The Space Cauldron
if you would kindly drop in a post to complete the corruption, i would appreciate it! sandrine is trapped in the laundry room of a gymnasium with lieutenant bolton and sailor amphitrite. she has a head injury and is therefore uncoordinated. you should be able to write the one post and then write laurelite out of the area; i don't want to tie up the mule!
Pyro flipped the bird to salty boy who was SO SALTY RIGHT NOW and was about to lunge into a attack when the the call over the network came.
Since the senshi was missing, it probably meant they were successful. That being the case, all he had to do was keep distracting salty here and they'd be on there way!
"sorry d**k." He lunged now, going for any bare flesh to hit.

Laurelite did not appear immediately; for a moment, there was no response.
And then, suddenly, an overwhelming energy signature flashed—and she appeared in the laundry room. Unusually for the General Queen, she did not immediately enter with her delicate, poised self. She seemed tired and almost, almost looked as though she had stumbled into the room.
As her eyes skimmed the room, she stood upright. It did not take her long to regain her posture. Appearances were everything, and she wouldn’t appear weak to even the most insignificant senshi.
Which, she hoped, was not the one Umber had intended for her to corrupt.
She recognized the Agents of Metallia immediately, and despite whatever fatigue she seemed to have arrived with, she was hiding it well now. "Bolton. Amphitrite. So good to see you. You and Umber have been busy, I see. I applaud your efforts and will deliver Metallia great praise for your generous offering."
As if Sandrine were theirs to give.
She did not know the senshi, and she did not care to. Perhaps, once Chaos coursed through Sandrine's blood, she would care, but for now the senshi was no more than an inconvenience.
But Chaos would correct all impurities.
Laurelite crossed the slight distance between her and the senshi and with no remorse or hesitation, she plunged her hand past fabric, flesh and blood. Her hand wrapped around the starseed hidden within and she pushed Chaos into it.
"There we go," she cooed; her arm was trembling but she never faltered. "I will make you useful."

Maintenance protocols always left the man bored. Anything involving the old gym left the man bored and hateful. Anthony the Maintenance Man despised having to go through the gymnasium and into the sweaty laundry room where the boys often towel whipped each other and left urine-stained rags for the so-loved janitor to clean up. As he reached for his keys, the commotion within caught his attention, and the man's salt-and-pepper brow furrowed while he tried to deduce the source of the cacophony. "Eh?" He asked himself in a hoarse old man's whisper while he reached for the knob.
Turning it, he found it unlocked. Opening it, he found a handful of oddly-clad young ones chasing each other about in a fit of rage.
"Oh, s**t," he cursed to himself while he let the door shut immediately. Afterward he placed a call over walkie-talkie to the campus police, who would undoubtedly chain the call to the DCPD. "Like hell I'm cleanin' up after that."
Laurelite's presence came as a simultaneous balm and harrowing warning. Her appearance cast a pall over the entire gymnasium, where he was certain all other presences there felt her arrival. And not long after her aura pervaded the area, one White Moon signature beyond the door flickered and fought before fading into chaos.
Success at last.
Umber loosed the breath he wasn't aware of holding. Relief flooded him to a point of weakness; with the mess that the simple mission had become, he was uncertain that they might pull it off. Wasting no time, he summoned communicator to hand and spoke one last time through its crackling frequency.
"The target has been captured and corrupted. Mission accomplished." He dismissed his crystal and started for the door; he had no further reason to linger. Without authority, he could not disperse the crowd of agents It fell to Benitoite to issue order over all the chaos.
xxx
"s**t," Ochre cursed quietly once he registered the call. Now detained by a general, he could do nothing about Sandrine's fate. But from the sound of it, his presence here made little difference - at least, to her.
For him, though, his participation here sealed a fate he hadn't wanted.

Cor Caroli made an awkward noise when the Corrupt senshi was pulled out from under him and a ball clunked him in the head. The girl had managed to get some good scratches and hits in while she was flailing underneath him, leaving him sore and in a bad position on the floor. He sat up, rubbing his arms and trying to get his bearings and see where the Corrupt and her mysterious rescuer had gone.
Glitnir canceled his channeling and got closer to Cor Caroli to make sure he was okay. He could see at least one bruise forming on the senshi's arm, and he extended his hand to offer him support for getting up. The senshi took his hand and got up with a grunt.
"Ugh, where'd they go?" Cor Caroli half-mumbled, rubbing his arms. He wasn't sure how he was going to explain these marks; this time, he didn't have the excuse of being at a big public event where everyone got hurt (see: Luna Bay).
Glitnir looked around, seeing no sight of them, and no sight of the senshi in blue and red and white that he had intended to go towards. "I don't see them. I think they ran off with the senshi up front."
Suddenly, there was a massive Chaos aura in the gym. "What the hell is that?!" Cor Caroli said.
"General-King or General-Queen," Glitnir said. "Stay by me."
"Actually, I think we should get the hell out of here," Cor Caroli said.
"Not a bad idea," Glitnir said, and he hurried out of the gym with Cor Caroli. Tonight had been something of a mess where not much had gotten done, aside from the failed tussle with the Corrupt senshi. Surely they would see the ramifications of whatever happened later...
He'd been busy with the squire and her little eternal, ready to fight them both, with Katya at his side when he felt it. Pausing he stared as slate eyes went wide for a moment. A General Queen, or perhaps a General King, had made an appearance and he didn't physically see them. The energy that he felt washed over him and he felt a sigh pass his lips. He wouldn't admit it aloud, unless asked by someone trusted, but the chaos and darkness felt good - pleasing. He knew how it would sound to those of order, to those few he wanted to call allies. They would think him so drown in chaos and lost to it, brainwashed, and who knows what else. But he wondered, for a brief moment, if they would feel the same if some royal were to turn up. Would that strong signature of order feel good? Fell comforting and pleasing?
"It looks like something has happened, Katya." He spoke, glancing down to the cat at his feet who was still standing up for him, seeking to protect and defend him despite her small size.
When his crystal went off he pulled it out and heard the message. "They've been corrupted." He spoke, his eyes still on Katya. Now he spoke into his own communications crystal. "All agents, the target has been captured and corrupted. All agents are advised to finish what they are doing and disperse, take your fights elsewhere if you wish but do not get caught by authorities." His voice booked no room for argument, he would not have agents being seen nor shot at or anything of the sort. At the same time he would not deny any of them a fight, or to finish one.
The crystal vanishing he turned his attention to the squire and the eternal senshi then. '"And to you both - a good evening." Bending swiftly he scooped up Katya then and held her in his arms, close to his chest. "You did good Katya."
