Emma jumped when Herald opened the door all the way and quickly covered herself with her clothes "Can you at least not look when you walk in on someone not fully clothed?" she asked as her cheeks flushed slightly before snatching the blanket, she stared at it for a moment "This is a towel?" she asked under her breath.

Never Again...Herald gave her a confused look. "I had to give you the towel," he told her simply. When she looked down at the blanket he shook his head. "I forgot to make one," he told her honestly. "You don't have to wear one if you don't want to," he told her simply with a shrug. Will I be bound in chains

Emma stared up at Harold for a few moments before muffling a laugh "You are such a weird guy..." she said before she somehow managed to drop her clothes and wrap the blanket around herself. After that she bent down and picked up her clothes again and wrapped the ribbon that was used for her hair around her hand.

Never Again...Herald gave her a another confused look. "How am I weird?" He asked. "You're the one who wanted a towel and then told me I shouldn't open the door and give it to you." He watched her calmly as she dropped her clothes and put on the towel, not looking away as he saw her naked for a split second. "I didn't realize you were in such good shape," he told her as she put the blanket around herself. Will I be bound in chains

"I thought most guys were supposed to look away when they saw a girl naked? Or get extremely red..." Emma asked before shrugging it off. She turned a bit red again when Herald made a comment about her shape "Well yeah... running and fighting a lot does that to you." she told him as she walked out past him and put her clothes on the bed. She unwrapped the red ribbon on her hand and began pulling back her hair, revealing a tattoo on the back of her neck for a split second as she tied the ribbon.

Never Again..."Yes it would," replied Herald as he watched her walk past and by the bed, wrapped in the blanket. When she lifted her hair up he noticed the tattoo she had there. "What is that tattoo?" Herald asked her simply, not being one to beat around the bush. He walked over and gently lifted her hair up to get a better look at it as he waited for a reply. Emma flinched when Harold lifted her hair to get a better look at the tattoo "Uh... my experiment ID. M1-08... that was kind of my name for a while." she explained. "Some of the other experiments I was allied with started calling me just M though and that is how I cam up with the name, Emma." she said with a nervous smile. "Sorry, it isn't a very appealing subject..."

Never Again...Herald nodded understandingly as he let her hair back down. "You did...well to escape from that place. And it was good that you had your own name." He sat down on the bed, a frown on his face as he realized he hadn't escaped from the arena on his own power like she had, not that he had wanted to, but still. It didn't particularly bother him that he had no name of his own at the time. His current name suited him just fine. He looked over at her with just the slightest hint of a smile before he looked away again, laying down on the bed and staring at the drapes above him, lost in thought. It was starting to become dark outside; the time of the realm mirrored the time in the real world. The crickets amongst the grass and flowers were starting to come out and the last rays of the sun were shining through the window. Will I be bound in chains

Emma couldn't help but smile when he complimented her on escaping "Thanks, it wasn't easy..." she said. Once he laid down and focused on the ceiling, she quickly grabbed her clothes and went to another part of the room to change.

Never Again...Herald quickly looked over at Emma as she grabbed her clothes, his adrenaline jumping slightly at the quick movement. He watched her go into a corner to change before looking out the window again. The lights in the room became brighter automatically to compensate for the lack of light from the sun. He looked over at her again. "I'll have to look over this place tomorrow and make sure I haven't missed anything. The towels were an oversight." The room felt rather cozy to him now that the sun was set and the lights in the room gave off a soft, comfortable light. It was what he imagined a luxurious life would be like. He hadn't created it for himself of course, not that he would admit it. All of this was for Emma. It was how he showed that he cared for her without actually having to admit it. She was a much better person than him and didn't deserve to have her only home be a lab somewhere far away. She should have better. A place she deserved where she would be safe. He was determined to make sure that this would be it. Will I be bound in chains

Emma muffled a small laugh "Don't worry about it." she said as she finished changing back into her regular clothes. She glanced outside, seeing it was getting dark "It rains in this realm right?" she asked curiously.

Emma smiled at him "No reason, I was just wondering." she said before laying down on the bed next to where he was sitting, looking up at the ceiling again. "Thank you very much for this." she told him after being quiet for a few minutes.

"I mean thank you for letting me come with. I honestly didn't know where to go back in Death City... I know Dara offered for me to stay with her but her house seemed full enough as is..." Emma told him with a small laugh as she sat up. She glanced outside and noticed the stars in the sky "Wow..." she muttered as she looked out the window in slight awe.
