Aurora moved lightly across the ground as the sweet scent of flowers lead her through the valley. Her mind clear of thoughts and worry, only the simple joy of living floating through it.
The sun was much lower now than it was when she began her adventure. As she scanned the area her nose caught a light scent of wolves. They both seemed hungry once she found their location. Aurora was up on the side of a small hill watching the duo begin a hunt.

stormy leaped into action. Stormy ran behind Kurogane and waited for his que to act with a slight nod of his head Kurogane gave the signal and they both took down the deer in one swift movement and began to eat hungrily. After they had devoured the deer Stormy walked over to a huge tree and sat under in enjoying the coolness of the shadow. "I wonder what he is going to do now, now that he has eaten he has no use for me anymore."

Kuro had a bit of fun snapping the bones in his jaws relishing each snap. After he licked his muzzle clean, his gaze fell on Stormy. "You're just going to lay down now? Get up and let's fight. All in good sport of course." He dropped into a downward facing dog stance with his tail high and his glassy eyes focused on Stormy's form. "Come on. Let's..." A hint of another female caught Kurogane's nose. He kept it in mind. Kurogane turned to the other voice that spoke and smiled. "Let's play."

Aurora felt the shift in energy as the males began there dance of dominance. Afraid for the female but also her self she tried to think of a way to get her out of there. The spirits of long gone creatures made soft sounds to her as the invisible things scurried down the hill to Stormy. Aurora knew the other female wouldn't notice the spirits as they where. Lowering herself to the ground she focused her energy into a small tree frog. His strong legs flung him quickly through the air to the wolf down below. It landed on the wolf and moved to jump to the ground. Aurora's hope was the the female would notice the strange activity and fallow it away from the dangerous males.
Keeping low she watched through the leaves. She only had one shot to getting stormy safely away, if this didn't work she wasn't sure what else she could do.

High up in the large tree that Stormy sat under was a rather odd wolf. This wolf was Asatoth. He stared down at the wolves below, marveling at the way they had taken down the deer together. Being what he was, he had no need to hunt. But that didn't mean that he couldn't admire the way that others of his species got their food. When another wolf joined the fray, a male with dark fur and wings, Asatoth's ears twitched. Even from so far away, it was easy for him to see that he was offering a challenge to the other male. 'That's not very wise... The female was hunting with him, challenging one means a challenge to both, doesn't it?' He thought, narrowing his eyes and tilting his head to the left. When a tree frog flung himself off the large hill in front of him, Asatoth looked up in surprise, only to see yet another wolf- A female. He turned his gaze back down to the three wolves at the bottom of the hill to see what would happen. Surely, one of them would react to the frog? He was curious to see what would happen. If it got to violent, Asatoth figured he would try to break it up. There was plenty of plant life around to manipulate and draw strength from, so it probably wouldn't be much of a problem. He understood that normal wolves often had battles for dominance, but he didn't want anyone to get terminally injured while having a fight to see who was stronger. That would be a grievous waste of life, in his opinion.

-goes into a wary stance- why are you here on this property? -sighs then holds my breath then feathers drop and appears beside Kuro and looks up at Asatoth-well i guess i win,that was easy well what a great sight to see so many wolves in one area -sighs-

it was all to much to many unfamiliar wolf scents where assaulting her nose and it was getting to much for her. It was a feeling all to familiar it brought back awful memories of her old pack. Stormy leaped up in a panic and ran as fast as she could.

Kuro looked up at the wolf in the tree. He was different but a strange sight for Kurogane. He dismissed the brawl that was about to ensue and was surprised slightly that the wolf in the tree was masked by nature. Or was it? He couldn't sense it at all and that was probably the reason he failed to notice the other lupus. His attention fell back to the wolf that threatened him as he cocked his head to the side with a crazed smile. "You would do wise not to threaten me again." His shadow shifted slight but it was just a sudden movement. It wasn't suppose to scare him but to prepare for any attack the male in front of him wanted to go for.

Surprised that he had been spotted so quickly, Asatoth inspected the winged wolf from his perch, wondering how he could've possibly known that he was there. He was high, HIGH up in the tree, and being a tree-like being himself, he wouldn't smell like a regular wolf. Not only that, but he had been surrounded by foliage. How strange. Perhaps he was another elemental and that was how? Wings would coincide with wind, after all. It didn't matter, though. With all the wolves within the immediate area knowing that he was here now, the wolf figured he would escape from their sight for a bit. Yawning, he stretched and merged into the tree, fading from sight in a whirl of wind and leaves. He was still there, of course, and he could see everything with the forest's eyes. Any other time, Asatoth probably would've approached the other wolves and talked a bit, but he just wasn't feeling that social today. For now, he decided to watch and see what would happen. It seemed like the fight was about to begin, and while he wasn't a fan of violence, he was eager to see how it would play out.

after running for several miles Stormy had to stop and rest. "I should not have gone out in the open like that, I should have known better than to trust other wolves, they are all the same vicious and violent." Stormy continued to travel until dawn making sure to put plenty of distance between her and the other wolves. Eventually se came across a small cave and layed down to sleep.

Kurogane heard Stormy run away from the fight as if something scared her. He didn't let it bother him so much. He began to retreat to coolness of the tree the other wolf, who had now vanished to assumed, was spectating from. He wanted to play but he wanted to wait a while for the land to cool.

several days had passed since the near fight and Stormy decided it was safe to once again start traveling. At this point she wasn't sure what she was searching for she had already made up her mind that all wolves were bad and that they were all to be avoided at all costs. I t would take something special to change her mind.

After a few days had passed, Asatoth finally emerged from his tree. It was unusual for him to stay merged for so long, but it had been a particularly comfy place to be. He seemed to grow out of the ground beneath it, exiting via an exposed root. The beast yawned and stretched, and several of the flowers currently blooming from his pelt died and fell to the earth, only to be replaced by more blooms. Having touched the fertile ground with his paws, various plants began to sprout from it as he walked, replacing his footsteps with flowers and wild grass. He was headed east, though he wasn't sure why. Everything the elemental wolf did was on a whim, really.
