Mathias grabs her hand and shakes it, even though he knew it wasn't what she meant by the gesture. "I could use you as a sparring partner. Nick keeps complaining about it," he says with a wink and looks at the swords in the barrel. "The thing is that I haven't yet found an alloy that I want to make the swords from..."

She blinked awkwardly when he shook her hand instead, but gave a slight grin at being a sparring partner. "Well, if you think I could help with anything else as well, I've got to much fre time on my hands at the moment." She complied and shiethed her sword.

"Anyway!" Mathias exclaims and hangs up his apron. "So, shall we go out? I'm all wrapped up for the day." He grins at Marrice and motions down the street. "Whatever you feel like doing, I bet Salience has it."

Marrice looks at him a bit caught off guard and then smiles as she brushes some hair from her face. "Sure, but I've never been around here before, only came to get my sword sharpened at first." She stated, and looked out at the street.

Mathias nods happily and disappears for a moment before returning with a bag of coins. "Well, we can go to the market and look around, we could go to a pub, visit the lake, or... Train some more," he says as he lists options and puts his hand on his chin as he tries to think of more.

Marrice watches him for a while before giggiling.
"Hehe, you're thinking to hard about this."
She smiled at him and gave a jokingly wink.
"How about a tour?"

"Sounds fine to me," he replies with a smile and grabs two plain-looking sheathed swords that he quickly attatches to his belt. "Where to first though? Maybe you aren't thinking hard ENOUGH?"

Mathias smiles and comes up with an easy solution to his problem. He puts his hand on Marrice's shoulder and pushes her in a random direction. "There, that solves it."

Nick yawns loudly as he wakes up from the nap he accidentally took. "Well then," he mutters and walks over to the counter, leaning on it and looking around. "I wish I wasn't on shop duty... I kind of want to go for a walk..."

Lazarus walks over to the bored looking shopkeep, also known as Nick, and places his hands on the counter.
"Hello, my feathered friend," Nick says to him with a smirk and stands up straight.
"Don't call me that," Lazarus replies. "It makes me sound like a common pet parakeet or something." He turns back towards the little cat that is Masa and smiles at her again. "This here is Nick. He's the soft-spoken one. Gentle and relaxed."

Masa listens to the conversation the two guys are having and her cat mind imagines hunting a parakeet, it's a thought she quickly throws away. When Lazarus introduces the other guy, Nick, she shyly hides behind Lazarus. She curls into a small ball in fear behind him.

A man, taller in stature, with the usual Kunarian garb, just a little dirtier than most, and a very un-managed beard, walks into the front door looking to the group as he starts to casually enter, looking around the room seeing some of the unfinished weapons hanging about...
"Afternoon sir... " The man says as if he is the shop keep.

Nick's gaze moves to the little cat, then to the newcomer. He puts on his business face and politely says, "And what can I do for you, sir?"
Lazarus only glances at the new guy but then twists his body to look back down at Masa. "He'll be with us in a moment. He's a very professional salesperson."
