Seaclan A sound other than the earthquake began to echo in his ears. He looked closer and noticed his friend Serenepaw frantically sprinting to him. " Hey, I got some coltsfoot -- Of course I'm okay, why wouldn't--" Sandstripe said, trying to keep up. AN EARTHQUAKE? He gently put away the leaves, memorizing where he put it. He nudged her to the camp." Fill me on the details: Has anyone been injured? Have they already evacuated?" He quickly asked. The sound of a rumble urged him to go to camp faster.

My eyes widened, he wasnt calm as I was about this, as he started to push me towards camp, I unsheathed my claws, sinking them into the ground, then turned to him. "Warrior, we can not go to camp, we must go to flat land, and Beautykit got crushed" her voice was calm, and she stoked him on the back with her fluffy tail in a soothing motion. "Calm down, please, getting excited could make it worse" I said, blinking, and I nosed him in his side, toward the direction where cats had been addressed to go, and where I ha come from. "Warrior, this way, be careful, I don't want you hurt" I said, my tail tip Pickering, thn stroking Sandstripe on his back soothingly, id definitely need thyme for all the warriors, apprentices, queens, kits, all the cats who had gotten over excited, I looked frantically up, and spoke aloud. "mentor, I wish you were here" yet, I was also glad my mentor hadn't allowed me to go to Moonpool.

What do you need?"

I looked at him softly, "we dont really need the horsetail for the moment" I mewed at his gesture, I plopped down on my hind-end, thinking to myself. "Warrior... We need thyme, and broken bones are comfrey. But instead of thyme, I want you to gather poppy seeds, they're easier to identify, I'm sure you know what they look like" I purred softly to him, getting off my bottom, and still the fear of my clan mates being injured almost seemed to kill me, myself. atleast Sanstripe's not hurt, that's one less cat to worry over I thought, attempting to stay optimistic about these things. I twitched my nose, scenting the air. "StarClan, help us" I whispere softly, with a bit of a worried tone, it was quite a lot of pressure to put upon me. StarClan was basically trusting me with the well-being of my clan mates, and I was ony an apprentice! calm down... You have Sandstripe he was willing to help, not like most cats would be in such a situation like this. "thank you, Sandstripe" I mewed to him.

When the earthquake had started, she had heard Serenepaw say something about Sandstripe being down here and that she was going to go look for him. She hadn't felt right letting the apprentice go alone without a warrior, and Sandstripe had been so kind to her earlier, that she couldn't let him get hurt, so she'd followed Serenepaw. She spotted the two cats and ran over to them. "Sorry for following you Serenepaw, but I couldn't live with myself if you were hurt." She said, pausing a minute for a breath. "And you Sandstripe are too nice of a cat to die." She said, looking him strait in the eyes. Then she turned back to Serenepaw ."What can I do to help?" Seaclan" Comfrey and poppy seeds, got it." Sandstripe listed and reported. He knew what they looked like, smelled like. He won't let his clanmates down. He noticed a sudden change of emotion within Serenepaw. He imagined himself in her position. She was only a few moons younger than him, yet right now, she seemed to look like almost a kit that had high expectations for warriors. They felt the same responsibility to their clan. He gently touched her forehead with his nose." You're not alone." He reassured." Oceanmist and plenty of other warriors would be glad to help you." Before slowly departing, he heard the small thank you from Serenepaw, including her mentioning his name. That made Sandstripe's dark day brighten a lot." Come on, let's regroup with the clan and gather some herbs along the way. Deal?" The sound of another cat rang in the distance until a recognizable figure appeared." Kindsoul?" He meowed as the she-cat was a foxlength away. As she apologized for following and asking how to help, he did a quick reply."Firstly, right back at you. Second, Gather up some comfrey, poppy seeds, and optional: thyme, to bring back to the clan. Right Serenepaw?"

She wasn't a medicine cat, but she had seen then treat injuries enough, that she had a vague idea what the herbs looked like. She had her nose to the ground trying to smell the herbs, and stay calm. She tried not to let her thoughts drift to wondering if Rarepaw was okay. She had to believe she was fine, or she wouldn't be able to focus. She grabbed the herbs in her mouth as she found them. But they were hard to hold onto, for how much she was shaking. She didn't know if it was that ground below her, or her own nerves causing her to shake. :｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡

I looked up, a bit startled, out of my personality, "oh, hello Kind Warrior" I mewed, my nose twitching, as I sniffed the tense air, my paw scraped the tender earth, as it rumbled beneath, I listened to Kindsoul. Blinking, then to Sandstripe. "Yes Sandstripe, that is correct" I mewed, my black nose still twitching to scent the air, my body pressed forward, as I grasped some cobwebs in my maw. "we may need these aswell" I commented, my voice calm, I felt soothed by Sandstripe's touch, and his reassuring words. "But, Mentor is at Moonpool, other cats are getting to the safe place" I said, remembering Beautykit's tail poking out, And then a final rock collapsing, covering her body completely, I knew when we moved back into the camp, the kittens body would most likely not be there, I shook my head. to young, to soon I thought to myself, with a shiver through my spine.

I looked at the two cats, then at Kindsoul. "earthquakes aren't a. Regular occurrence amongst the clans, even the older cats probably haven't experienced one, StarClan ha never told me about experiencing an earthquake" I mewed to them, my nose twitching, I found her to be a bit over nervous, I came closer to her, as rested a comforting tail on her shoulder. "shhh, Kind Warrior, you'll be okay" I mewed to her, she would if she calmed down a bit. "just calm down" I said, with a soft sighed, and rasped my tounge over her ears tenderly. I had laid the cobwebs over my back, finding it an easier way to carry the herb. "we should begin to hea back" I added on to the two warriors.

Seaclan The smile didn't seem to falter Sandstripe. He could see through the fake smile. He could tell if it was genuine or not. Sandstripe recalled memories of Kindsoul normally seen with Rarepaw and had him thinking, I'm pretty sure they must be close as kin. He figured. As he grabbed nearby thyme, he heard the comforting sound of Serenepaw. Like a mother to a kit. He mused to himself. He grabbed the thyme and the poppy seeds into his mouth. He gave a nod to Serenepaw that said, Right behind you, captain.

I looked towards the sky, sending a silent prayer to StarClan that all would fare well within the clan, I nodded to my clan mates. "let us head to the safe place" I mewed, ending my stroking of Kindsouls pelt, taking the cobwebs back into my jaw. "come Kind Warrior and Sandstripe" I mewed, pressing forward, feeling the ground rumble underpaw as I headed towards the safe place, should we avoid water...? What had Mossstar said..? Avoid the cliffs... That was it! "don't go near the cliffs" I mewed to the two warriors. "stay away from high ground" I added on.

She kept looking at the other two, trying to make sure they all stayed safe. They were all going to make it to safe ground, together. Then she was going to find Rarepaw and they were going to keep the rest of the clan safe. It was their duty, as warriors. And Serenepaw was going to heal injuries, her duty as a future medicine cat. :｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡
