Pippa's purr grew and she pushed her head and shoulders ito the Captain's hand of sracthing nice-ness. Yesssss, jussssst want to plaaaaaay. Harrrrrmlessss, meeeee verrrrry harrrrmlesssss..... Not that an of them would hear her, though....

It was nice of Neciel to speak up for her, since she had no human voice of her own.

Izzy brightened up soemwhat, and then her usual serious expression colored her face. Her fist hit her palm to emphaze. "Denial is perfect... and it's not like it'll happen again.... and if Clea keeps bringing it up... well, I have a few tricks up my sleeves" Oh, yes... now she was plotting.

"Uh... right." his agreement was hesitant, though he said no more than that on the topic. Glancing around slowly, he's relieved that most of those present seemed too preoccupied to spare the exorcist and her crazy apprentice a glance. Pursing his lips, the young Izzy. "What do we do now?" he asks, leaving the choice to her. "I mean, you seem to have the hang of the Waltz. The rest aren't terribly difficult... it's mostly just repetition..." he was giving her a way out, a polite way to slip off without offending him.

Izzy thought about it for a moment. "Right... no more dancing then... I'll end up accidentally killing someone whether I have the steps or not, so..... let's raid the snack table." Her eyes turned to the elegant piece of furnature that had a great assortment... and looking just made her hungrier, as she hadn't eaten dinner yet. Plus... it was seperated from the drinks table... which the youngest couple in the room was... doing something at.

Mori watched as the Captain delt with the winged kitten, trusting the woman's judgement, but maternal instinct wanted the feline away from at least Dae. "So, she thought-speaks?" And Nemo could hear the kitten? That was interesting. Her eyes drifted to the yougling in Jon's arms and she looked at her child with motherly fondness. She was still unsure about being at this party in the first place, but knew better than to protest... especially with the Captain right there.

Seeing her sister safe and happy, Dae calmed some, but the occasional wimper would escape her as she tried to hide her face into her stuffed cat. Kalina was okay, but the dark moving kitty was still near. That was not okay with her. At least she had her daddy.

Kalina still peered over at Pippa, especially as the Captain scratched the kitty on her shoulder. She wanted to touch the kittyy again! Her eyes peered at the fluffy creature over the head of her bunny, and one of the floppy ears was back in her mouth.

Jon watched the little one in his arms with soft eyes ensuring that she felt better now. There were times that he wished that he was psychic around these children. That had to be a useful skill for a parent and an annoying one for a child. "Well little cats can be playful." His eyes rose to the captain, "Speaking of the bandit, where is that bag of dust and bones? I thought that he would have showed up with you Captain." He had wondered why the party seemed so quiet and he had a feeling that the absence of a certain dessert king had something to do with that. It wasn't like him to show up late for free alcohol and it seemed that this was the first time in a while that Jon had seen the captain without the the large dark man.

Puck ran a teasingly soft claw along Anlu's neck just soft enough to be felt. He leaned in to speak getting close enough to whisper in her ear, his lips just barely touching her ear as he spoke, "Relax kitten," His words were smooth and as alluring as a serpents hypnotic gaze. "I'm sure you are fine. Don't think of it either way. You are an intelligent, beautiful, and dangerous young woman. You are far from useless in any shape of the term, no matter your condition." He kissed her lightly on the cheek, "Now drink your water and join me in the tender embrace of a dance." Part of him wished that she had told him about the incident sooner but getting upset over this would not make anything better, so he would simply have to calm her down, get her mind on other things, and approach it at a later and more appropriate time.

"So positive are you? You really should be less certain of that." His hand gently slid from her shoulder to her waist before he chose to nuzzle her neck slightly. "Me? Want something?" Robin replied to his betroth with a certain smug nature to his voice. "What ever could I want?" Her scent crept into his nostrils and crawled under his skin sending a ecstatic chill through his spine. His blood was rushing his heart starting to flutter freely. How could this girl cause this to happen to him he was not a fan of this at all. Well he could still have his fun up until it became just too much for him to handle.

Anlu was a bit shocked. Puck had been so good lately when it came to her blunders and other dangerous incidents, ever since he came back from his home. "You aren't mad?" It had been wrong of her to keep it from him, and she knew it... and, like when she explained about the attack in her own home, he just... took it. No anger at all. It was... soothing. Of course his whispered words and feathery gestures aided with calming her nerves. "Tender embrace of a dance, hm? I swear, I don;t know how I was able to resist your charm before..." Which was saying something, ebcause they'd only been a couple for a week. An official couple, anyway. She finished her drin and set it aside on a table, then put her hand in his. "I would love to dance with you."

So... he did come to see her? Really? But her mind didn't dwell on it for long as his hands that wasn't already on her stomach, gripped at her waist, his lips and cheek touching her neck. "I... don't know... you tell me...?" Was now a good time to bolt? Or... should she stay? Her body trembled slightly, though not out of fear. No... never out of fear when it came to Robin. Never again, anyway. She turned her head to the side, glancing at his head of hair as the rest of his face was buring in the crook between her neck and bare shoulder. What. SHould. She. Do?

Glancing at Jon, the captain pursed her lips. She had no idea where the bandit was; she hadn't seen him since she slipped off to start organizing everything early that morning. She had assumed that he would just show up eventually, as he always did, but there was a slight nagging feeling at the back of her head that she had managed to ignore until now. "It seems you are mistaken, then. I have not seen him for quite a while, actually." glancing about once to make sure he hadn't materialized while they spoke. "I had assumed he would show his face eventually, but it seems that he is hiding for now."

Perking up a little at the plural in her sentence, Agito smiles faintly. "Good idea." moving towards the table, he surveys what the captain chose to lay out. There were plenty of things she knew the Graves liked, as an added incentive to draw them here, but there was still quite the assortment. Glancing back at Izzy to make sure she had followed him, he wonders what sort of snack they should attack first.

Puck shook his head only slightly, "No not really. I suppose you are having a positive affect on me." Not too long ago and the demon would have been thoroughly irritated that she had dared to keep such information from him and would have insisted that she stop playing with those toxins for her own good, but now he knew that it was no use arguing nor did he feel the urge to/ He watched her soft lips take in the liquid choosing to suppress carnal urges that seemed to course through his veins. Gently he took her hand in his and lead her to the dance floor taking her into his ebony arms. "Good I don't take no very well." He started to move with her slowly through the area.

Robin was having fun maybe a little too much fun as he teased the girl with fang and claw. He got in close as if he were about to press his lips to her neck and then halted. There was a certain feeling of energy between them now his lips close enough to her neck that there was a charge between the two. "No I think I'd rather not." He pulled away releasing her and grasped a drink for himself smirking playfully. She was far too much fun for him and actually something that he liked to keep rather close. He was convinced that he had her as their parents had intended and if she dared to try and run away he would just have to chase her down and drag her back.

Despite Jon and the Captain's wondering on the wherabouts of Nemo, Mori was perfectly content with the fact that he was not around. She still didn't trust him, especially with her babies... though she knew she didn't have to worry too much i n that case, as Nemo seemed to have a preference for not touching young ones. Still, she too found it a little strange that the bandit was not around... He seemed to be the sort to not just enjoy the party, but be the life of it too. Hmmm, perhaps it was a good thing he wans;t there, then the party would gte boring and she could leave with her husband and babies... and enjoy a nice, quiet evening in he rhome.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Izzy made sure to follow Agito, happy to see him somewhat energetic again despite their previous... well, blunder. She scanned the table and saw a lot of good things to eat. "Should we... go for a proper meal and eat our meats and veggies, go for soemthing more appetizer-like with the breads and cheeses, or sowemthign sweeter with the sugary desserts or the fruits?" It all looked good to her... she might make herself fat before the night was over.
Anlu couldn't help but smile. "I'm glad... means I've done soemthing right." It made her feel good, especially as he lead her to the dance flor, the small-ish, blind girl dancing with the much larger demon. How strange it was. But there she was with the man she loved. "I know you don't... I do recal a time when I said no and you pinned me to the ground... fun times, those were... back when I could pull amazing pranks with poisons..." She grinned, always mischevious. She was glad, though, taht now people didn't freak otu about it, though... that brought her mind right back to the issue of possibly losing her immunity...
Her face rereddened as he got so close, and she was expecting... and then he pulled away. Damn him, teasing her like that. And that smug little grin of his, too! Part of her seethed inside, but part of her wanted him to return as he was. So, there was only one way she could deal with it... the want, and the embarassment of showing it to him. She took a deep breath... and walked away. "Arse" Yup, if he was going to play with her like that... she had better thinsg to do.
Jon rolled his eyes slightly, "Leave it to him to actually disappear when there's a party going on. I'm sure we will hear from him shortly." Jon had been hoping to have someone to talk to besides his wife during this ordeal. He had had a feeling that without someone like Nemo he and Mori would be swept up into the commotion. At least with someone else to talk to he could escape all the attention for a moment or two. Oh well. He looked at his wife with a smirk, "Care for a drink dear?" A honest question as he found himself in need of such even with a baby in his arms.
Puck saw her train of thought leading back to her immunity. Did she ever think of anything else? "None of those thoughts now. You really need to relax and stop dwelling on it. Think instead of other things. Like the moment right now. You and me on this floor wrapped in each others arms. That is a much better thought to entertain." You didn't have to be psychic to see the worry on the woman's face. It was actually a little alarming how much emotion a blind girl could show with her eyes. He continued to dance with her not wanting her to fear anything, he was the one who was supposed to protect her after all. She was his and he took good care of the things that belonged to him.
Robin chuckled slightly at his small victory over the girl as she stormed off. He took one long drink from his glass before setting it on the table and continuing after her. Once he was close enough he spoke, "Oh I'm the arse? Please don't hate me for having a little fun. Besides you know you enjoy it."
Examining the lay out of the tables, Agito hums quietly to himself as he considers his options. There was plenty to choose from, that was true, but where was he to start? Eying each of his favorite foods in turn, he heads towards the end of the table with the desserts; anyone who knew him would expect as such. The boy's sweet tooth was huge and, if left unwatched, he'd probably devour everything on the table.
"I am a tad surprised, actually, I had figured he would be one of the first to arrive." she shrugged, hiding her disappointment at his absence. Glancing between the couple, the captain smiles faintly. "Do help yourselves. I made sure there was food the two of you would eat." she had actually centered the entire table around their favorite foods, but she didn't mention that. The couple seemed about ready to move on, though the captain didn't seem bothered by it. There was plenty to keep her busy.
Mori quietly nodded at her husband's inquiry, glancing back down at the baby in her arms. Little Kalina was getting sleepy again, and it showed with her little eyes drooping and the child's grip on her toy was already loosening. Her glance then went to the Captain. "Thank you for the accomidations, we do appreciate it." She had a feeling what the Captain said was an understatement, but she didn't want to look into it. For now, she would wait for Jon to take the lead and she would follow close behind him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

Anlu smiled, an apology showing in her eyes as she tried to relax herself. "I'll have to agree, that is a much more pleasant thought to entertain." Though, she could think of even happier thought to entertain as well... that simply included her... and him... and a very dark room. They were dancing now, however, and it was time to enjoy the moment. No more thoughts on her immunity... for now. Instead, she moved closer resting her head on Puck;s chest as they continued to dance together in comfort.

"Do not." Her protest was automatic, no thought behind it at all. She could dislike him as much as she wanted, after all... his "fun" was at her expense. Unfortunately the more she walked away the more he followed... so she simply stood there, arms crossed over her chest and watched as her future uncle and aunt danced about, enjoying themselves more than Claire could even begin to imagine. A happiness like that definately wasn't meant for her if her future wwas to be with Robin. Of course, her Dark Knigth status didn't help either... since it wAs very hard to find a female need for love when you were, for the most part, an evil being. They're so lucky...

Izzy couldn't help but smile. Sweets? She should have know. That was her favorite section, too, though... well good eating habits were beaten into her during priestess training... since a good soul had to be housed by a healthy body. On top of that, one's chi was msot effective when the body housing it was in the best condition. "Save some of those for me." She was picking out meats, breads and cheeses for herself on one place, some carrots and apple slices on another, and then stacked them so she could grab a third and fill it with sweets, as well. "I'd call this a balanced diet..."

Hyacinthe was totally exhausted. He had trained daily since birth, yet...he had never been outside for so long. He had never learned to built himself a fire, to catch his food. He had learned the hard way. If it were not for his strong will and the kidness of some strangers along the way, he would have never made it to the territory of the Striders.The only bright side was that he did not mind taking a freezing bath in a mountain spring or winter lake. So he felt clean enough for someone who had spent weeks, even months traveling. His clothes could not say the same. He had tried to clean them but mending wholes was something else, especially without needle or thread.

Hyacinthe had walked the northern shore of the Sea of Dawn for what seemed an eternity. He kept asking for the camp ground of the Dawn Striders, getting queer looks often and answers sometimes. At last he set eyes on the Castle. As he crosses the fields or some farms here and there, people looked at him with funny eyes. He knew perfectly well what he looked like and he did not bother him, that was until..until he was entering in the Castle and noticing how everyone seemed so well dressed...

His steps slowed down but more people kept coming and he found himself pushed forward. Before he knew what had happened he was standing in an amazing ballroom, dressed like a peasant and he really really did not like it!

Grinning, the captain does her best to keep a wicked glint from her expression. Glancing about the room, a new person catches her eye. Said person was both unfamiliar, and stuck out like a sore thumb. A frown tugged down one side of her mouth, and she tilts her head to try and get a better look. Glancing back at Mori, the captain forces another smile. "You too should go get your drinks. And eat! Do eat. There is plenty of food." the captain encourages the young mother on her way, smiling faintly. That new presence was bothering her, and she decided to take care of it before anything ruined her party. "I should really tend to the other guests. Make sure everything is suitable for them as well. Try not to be so introverted tonight, my dear. Have some fun." the captain grins again, teasing the other woman before slipping off in the crowd.
Slipping between the party guests, the captain weaves her way towards and around the poorly dressed person. He didn't smell bad, at the very least, and he wasn't coated with dirt. The clothes were terribly worn, though, and she would have to get her hands on a new set if he was allowed to stay. Luckily, she had forcefully purchased some of Agito's fancier creations and hung them in a closet off to the side just in case this should happen; there would be no poorly dressed person at her party, if she had a say.
Which she did.
"You seem a tad lost." she speaks for the first time, moving to stand towards the man's front. Her hands move to her hips, resting there lightly. "And very under dressed." she points out, appraising his clothes from the front this time. Hopefully she had something long enough, as this person was certainly tall. Pursing her lips a moment, she turns her attention to th person's face. "You look terribly confused. Do you have any idea where you are?"

Glancing at Izzy's plates, Agito is almost embarrassed by his food choice. Filling one plate with assorted pastries and cookies, he moves back towards the actual food to fill another plate. Meat took up a very small part, the rest flooded with vegetables, rolls and cheese. Feeling a little better about his food, he moves back to stand by Izzy. Surveying the room, he notices the captain has slipped away from the main focus and to someone who was hideously dressed. Cringing a bit, Agito prays this person is at least clean; his clothes were going to be forced on the new arrival soon enough, and he'd hate for his hard work to become dirty.
