Jaypaw looked up to see Watersong looking in a different direction. She followed his gaze and found it resting on a grayish colored cat. She turned back to Watersong. "Who is she again?" She asked the tom, unable to remember him mentioning her name.

"Oh, her name is Dewwhisper. I think you may recognize her name. Her murder by Shadow of the Fellowship was what caused FogClan and LakeClan to go to war and nearly destroy themselves." Watersong answered. "Don't tell Cloudheart, but she's kind of fighting a losing battle. She's infatuated with Cloudheart, but that young tom's too oblivious to see it. Everyone in StarClan knows, but we elect not to tell him because we don't want Dewwhisper to get hurt."

Fernflower padded up to Cloudheart, her eyes filled with sympathy. "Is Pebblestar upset about being a leader?"
Stormpelt appeared from behind Fernflower. "I guess its our fault, not talking to our son about our death. It's not Pebblestar's fault, and she doesn't deserve to be blamed by him." He mewed.
Snowdust sighed to herself. She was looking for no one in particular, but decided to look into the seeing pool to check on LakeClan's newest medicine cat apprentice, Gingerpaw.

"Darkpaw isn't what's really bothering her," Cloudheart meowed. "It's just being leader period. She's too much like me, and feels to restricted by responsibility."
Cloudheart let out a rusty purr, though there was no humor behind it. "I'm worried about her, I don't doubt that she's a good leader, she loves her clan, but she takes too much onto her own shoulders. She doesn't have enough time for play, and I think it's getting to her."

"Then we should give her a sign, remind her that sometimes she shouldn't take leader too seriously. Remind her what its like to be an apprentice, still ready to learn..." Fernflower proposed.

"Let us go with you. We're partially a part of her depression, and we'll help solve it." Stormpelt mewed.

"No, I'll do it alone. After all, I've always wanted to meet my great niece." Cloudheart meowed padding away. "Too bad Emberstar is too busy being a bed of wet moss."/

Jaypaw nodded thoughtfully. She stopped when she felt her belly rumble. Her pelt prickled with embaressment. "Well, I'm starving!" She announced, padding to the fresh-kill pile.

Watersong followed Jaypaw to the fresh-kill pile and motioned for Dewwhisper to follow. She did, and they chose a mouse to share.
"It's nice, that the clans aren't as separated they are in the living world." Dewwhisper meowed.

Jaypaw chose a thrush from the pile and sat next to the two warriors. She looked over at Dewwhisper. She was right. She nodded. "You're right," She meowed.

Dewwhisper nodded and looked back down at the mouse.
Watersong looked over at Dewwhisper and felt a pang of sorrow for her. But, he pushed it away and looked at Jaypaw, "So, how are you liking StarClan?"

Jaypaw looked up from her thrush. "I really like it here!" She meowed joyfully. "Cats from different clans here are more connected, and it's more peaceful." She looked back down at her thrush, and realized just how plump it was. She turned back to Watersong. "Then again, cats aren't really scraping for food here," She finished her thrush and layed back down, full.
