A gaming group is a group of people who get together to play a table-top game, be it role-playing like Dungeons and Dragons, card games like Magic: the Gathering, or board games. Online forums do provide a way for people to play a table-top rpg without having everyone live close together, though they are a lot slower than an IRL group's gaming.

And I think it's better to actually be able to get people together in person.
But I'm just a really social person ^^

It generally IS better in person, and I'm not much of a social person. I'd still ike to run that Challenge of Champions adventure, and if we get something going here, that might be a good way to se how people would get along, since the adventure doesn't actually involve killing things.

Challenge of Champions is a D&D adventure, and the particular version I have is one meant for 2nd Ed. D&D, though it's pretty easy to adapt it for 3rd Edition. Tried running it before, but people in the other guild ended up dropping out at the last minute do mostly to IRL stuff.

Oh I'm sorry. ):
Only played 3.5 regular games ran by a student who thought he was god. (x
Some of the players kept ruining the fun though.. *sigh*
Never got to play a real game, since my DM kept starting new after only a few days. lol (X

Heheh. Our group in MN ran for a few years. We met pretty much weekly. Twice a week at one point.
And I just won't go into all the problems in that group... Or the ones I had with the DM... sweatdrop

Well, I'd be perfectly happy to run a 3.5 D&D game again. Or perhaps some other rpg, depending on people's tastes and interests.
