Really? Do you have bad internet connection? Or maybe a huge a** computer screen... I has a small one. Things tend to load faster for me for that reason, so I hear. ;___;
I didn't think they were scary at all, that's why I figured it must just be that there were so many of them. xD

Well the circle in itself isn't Satanic, it's the little 'ma' looking figure in the center that truly makes it Satanic. I'd explain the features of the character but I doubt you'd give a crap. I'm just chock full of information you'll never use and don't give a flip about. xD

Atheist, yes... I remember. I forgot if I asked this question or not, but are you familiar with basic Christian mythology? Adam and Eve, Lillith, the Story behind Lucifer/Satan, Cain & Able, and Nephilim? I'm totally going to have to fill you in if you don't. They're neat little stories, and you'll find a lot of that stuff in my writing so it's good to understand. xD Plus I just love telling those tales. *already turning into an old grandpa*

xD Have you ever written poetry that seems to have no deep meaning even to you as the author, but then your teacher looks at it and makes all these amazing inferences about your work and finds all these deep meanings and is so impressed and you're like "...yes. Yes that's totally what I meant to do." Even though you had no idea it could be taken that way? Used to happen to me all the time. I'd just put words together and hand in the papers and the teacher would give me a great grade because she didn't ask me to explain it, she'd just infer then ask if that's what I meant. And I'd just be like 'yeah sure whatever'.

Oh good. Because I has tacos. 8D I can bribe him away now.

Alright. Well I wasn't sure where mine belonged so I figured I'd just shove it under fantasy for now.

I think we have a DSL box with comcast though... whatever we've got is super fast and I love it. But I have a wireless card so it takes a tiny bit longer to load on my computer than my mother's... But her computer is super slow just in processing it's applications so I like my laptop better.

Yes to put it into quick terms, Adam was the first man, but Eve was the SECOND woman. Lilith was the first woman but she was so wild that she turned down the idea of being Adam's 'wife' and left him. Some say Lilith and Lucifer had relations, and some say Lilith was the mother of Lucifer. Others say she disappeared outside of Paradise and ran into the devils of the world and became the metaphorical 'mother of all evil'.
Cain and Able were the first children of Adam and Eve, and again to put it quickly, Cain killed Able because God seemed to favor Able over Cain... which pissed Cain off. God banished Cain for this sin, and marked him with what people came to call 'the dark mark' (or something like that) so that anyone who killed him would be cursed sevenfold and anyone who killed that man would be cursed sevenfold and so on and so forth. Never made sense to me. The story goes that Cain met Satan in the wilderness and made a contract with him to be the devil's advocate...
And then the story becomes unclear as to whether it was actually Satan who put the dark mark on Cain (to mark him as his own) or if it was God who put it on Cain to warn others of the curse he placed on Cain. Soem people say God jsut put a curse on him, not a dark mark... Blah.
But it's all interesting.

And Nephilim... In Genesis there's a line in chapter 6 that says "When the human population began to grow rapidly on the earth, the sons of God saw the beautiful women of the human race and took any they wanted as their wives." (meaning that Angels had children with human women) and then a line later it says, "In those days, and even afterwards, Nephilim lived on earth, for whenever the sons of God lay with human women they give birth to children who became the heroes mentioned in legends of old."
I dunno if I quoted that exactly but um... Yes if you continue to read any of my stories in my journal... particularly Kavvana's, then Nephilim play a big part. 8D And now you know... and will probably soon forget.

Oh yes and there might be random bible verses that I'll shove into my work so it's possible some of the lines might not be mine. I haven't done that yet but I plan to.

My impression of Noah and the Ark? Here's how it went down.
God decided that humans sucked. So he shoved one family into a boat and some animals in there... *kinda like backing up important files from a computer onto a disc* and then drowned everyone else. And he left them there for a while cause he totally forgot, then realized and drained the water... let Noah and everyone out of the ark to repopulate the earth and Noah got drunk, his kids saw him naked and God was like 'HEY EVERYONE I MADE A RAINBOW. I SOWWY."
The end.
Indeed some are insanely far fetched. I could totally make better religious stories. 8D

xD I love it when that happens. In psychology we had to write a poem about ourselves linking us to objects... liek if you were a plant, what would you be... If you were shoes what would you be, if you were a mode of transportation, what would you be, if you were a scene what would you be? Stuff like that. It was really good actually, considering when it was written... >.>;;;; And the teacher read them all aloud but didn't say anyones names and everyone was guessing whose was whose... (...any idea if I've used that form of 'whose' correctly? I never can tell when to use who's, whose" But I've got they're, their, and there down perfectly. As well as two, to, and too. xD Yes a 20 year old is asking about this... FFFF. I fail.

Hrm... I always imagined both Adam and Eve to be rather bland, while Lillith was the party animal. They were like 13 year olds...
And until they ate from the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil, they were basically retards that ran around naked. (yes some people actually believe in magical fruit trees. WTF?)

Um actually there are so many contradictions in the bible, all they can really be sure of is that God is God. That's it. He preferred Able over Cain because back then God asked for 'sacrifices' and Able brought good fruits from his harvest and Cain brought the best from his flock for God...
It never made sense why he favored Able to me, but Cain was so pissed he killed his brother and then smarted off to God when God was like "so dude, where's Able?"
Wanna know what he said? "WHAT AM I? MY BROTHER'S KEEPER?" *word for word, no exaggeration here*.
I suppose God may have looked down on the animal cruelty but... He continued to ask for animal sacrifices all the time afterwards, and at one point a human sacrifice (Abram and Isaac) but that turned out to be a test of whether Abram loved God enough to kill his own son. [no he didn't end up killing his son because right before he stabbed his son on the altar God was like "LOLZ. JK. No bloodshed. Plskthax."].

Nephilim is Latin, I believe. You've got to remember the Bible was originally written in Latin texts, and then we translated it to English. So in the bible, it actually says "Giants", but not as in 'large ogre like creatures' such as Jack and the Beanstalk. Giants as in 'larger than life heroes' sort of thing. It also says off to the side, 'known also under Nephilim'.

.............Noah's ark. Lesse... well my translation came from this... (which is not direct verses, this is me summing it up... but without the sarcasm)
God looked at Earth and saw that people had grown wicked, and that their thoughts were completely evil. He was sorry that he had made humans, and decided to wipe them all out. But Noah found favor with God, so God came to Noah and told him to build an Ark. And so Noah built the ark and was allowed to take his family (which was huge) with him, and God lined up two [male and female] of every animal to get onto the boat as well. Noah did not understand WHY they were getting on a boat. Back then God watered the grass with morning dew, so the concept of rain was like WTF? God finally told Noah he was going to make water fall from the sky and wipe out the humans. Noah was made fun of for his large boat that was so far away from the water, and when he spoke of the rain they laughed and ignored him.
So... God told everyone in Noah's crew to get on the Ark and they did, and then God himself closed the door and sealed it so that the water could not get in. And forty days and forty nights water fell from the sky. It covered the earth, and destroyed both man and beast. It went past all the trees and all the mountains. And for months Noah and his family floated on the ark, completely uncertain of what their future would be like.
To condense it... Once the rain stopped they were still left floating for a while, and Noah opened a hatch near the top of the boat and let out a dove or some sort of bird so see if they could leave the ark yet. But the bird came back. He sent it out again a while later... and the bird brought him back an olive branch, meaning that the trees were starting to be uncovered by the water. And on the third time, the bird did not come back at all, and Noah opened the door and he and his family set foot on dry land and were charged with repopulating the earth. (he had a lot of kids who were married and preggars on the boat with him so they were gonna be fine with that whole repopulation thing) The first thing Noah did was build an altar and praise god.
God made the first rainbow in the sky and told Noah that it was his promise that he would never flood the earth ever again... Apparently he had watched his creations die and felt sorry for them and didn't want to do that again...
Uh later they were partying and Noah got drunk and naked and one of his kids saw him and... I dunno that was bad because everyone was yelling at him... FFF i can't remember. xDDD
And now you know. 8D Don't you like my sacrastic earlier version better? I think it was cooler.

Too is used for 'much' or 'also'. Example: I would like some too (also). There's just too many! (much)
To is used for anything else. "We went to the store. She said to go so we went."
And again, now you know. 8D People incorrectly using Too and To has always bugged me as well as when people say 'good' instead of well. "I slept good last night". FFFFFFFFFF. You mean you slept WELL.
And when people spell alot? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFf. "We eat alot of food!"
It's two words. A LOT. And it's not very descriptive because it's not an actual amount so college professors will yellz at you for using a lot, even if you spell it correctly.

Alright well I just realized, make sure that you read the definition of Science Fiction that's posted in the thread and see if it fits your roleplay. Did I already say that? I'm hyped up because I nearly broke my foot and don't feel like reading my mountain of text in the previous posts... I won't want to come back and read this one either... >.>;;;
