I like polka dots. :3 Polkadots are teh secks. And fine arts? Nice. Good job. If you check the art thread you can see that I'm a little more than horrible. smile

Hiii. I'm Emwah, or Emma if you want to be proper.
I'm 20 years old and hail from that great southern land Australia. I am currently studying environmental science at uni. Speaking of art (as you were) I'm pretty awesome at it, so if anyone wants a freaking fantastic drawing of any of the TMV guys they can pay me a million dollars and I'll have it ready in a month or 2 xp Or maybe I'll just draw something on my own free will and scan it for you all to enjoy.
Anywayyy... Last January I had the orgasmic pleasure of seeing TMV perform live twice in one week. Once at the Big Day Out festival and then again at their side show in Melbourne. It was the best damn week of my life.
I love both ATDI and TMV, but TMV give me more auditory gasm.

Hello! My user name is Dislocated Lungs and my avatar's name is Pod (It's a long story as of where I got the name.) I joined this guild along with my sister, DarknessMatinee (She's the one who found it and thought it would be a good idea for us to join since we're fans of The Mars Volta.) Currently, I have been overtaken by Gaia Towns (It's works! Squeeee!) So odds are, I'll make this introduction short and sweet. I'm into all sorts of music, mainly Goth, Metal, Industrial, Rock and Experimental... I have a morbid personality which takes some getting used to. Other than that, I like to play PS2 games (RPG's and Survival Horror) and MMORPG's (Currently Yohoho Puzzle Pirates and Maple Story.) I like comic books and novels (The more blood the better) and I love to write. I'm 23 years old and have my hopes set on going into the field of Forensics one day (Won't go into gorey details unless asked sweatdrop ) And that about sums me up... I'm weird and everyone likes it! Ok, I'll cut the chatter and get back to Gaia Towns... Hope to meet everyone and make some new friends here ^.^

Hi! My name is Stormy, but some people call me Dawn. I am 17 years old and currently in High School, though we're out for the summer. I'm from the Metro-Atlanta area of Georgia. That means I get to go see The Mars Volta in October with my sister, who is also in the guild. It's my first time seeing them live and I can't wait! heart
Well, as for my personality...some say I'm hyper and crazy, but some say otherwise. My mood and demeanor fluctuate a lot, but that's no reason to stay away! I write a lot, especially fanfiction(I currently have a series with Cedric in it). I rarely draw, but when I do manage to produce some scribbles, people seem to like them. I play role-playing and stratagy videogames quite a bit, but not so much recently.
That's all I can think of at the moment. I look forward to meeting and talking with some of y'all around the guild!

Hello, i'm new to the guild.
-I like the mars volta. (obviously)
-I also like ATDI, Bjork, blonde redhead, broken social scene, harry and the potters, the hives, hot hot heat, the pixies, stereolab, the thrills, the velvet underground, weezer, radial symmetry, Tim Burton, Douglas Adams, My rosy boa (jonas), my betta (omar) and anything that has to do with: harry potter, the science channel, relativity, etc.
Stoked for TMV/ATDI guild
So, i introduced myself, gave a moderately vague description of my interests, and shared my feelings about this guild.

Hello, I'm Vasp.
I know The Mars Volta for about 3 or maybe 4 years. I've seen them only once ( cry ) in Warsaw (Poland). I think it was the greatest day of my life! I like the old bands like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, King Crimson, Deep Purple and of course Jimmy Hendrix. Okay then, see you soon! whee
